The dipolar relaxation in poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA), sodium carboxy methyl cellulose (NaCMCs), and their blends were studied using a thermally stimulated depolarization current (TSDC) technique. The mutual effects of polarization conditions such as heating rate, poling temperature, time, and field on the properties of TSDC were investigated. Quantitative analysis of the experimental data is given in terms of dipolar and space charge polarization. A thermal sampling (TS) technique was applied to decompose the complex relaxations in individual polymers and their blend of 0.5/0.5 wt/wt into its normal distribution components. The activation energy of TS‐formed electrets was determined by fitting the experimental curve to Bucci and Fieschi equations. Peak parameters such as activation energy and preexponential factor τ0 were obtained. A linear relationship between the activation energy and logarithm of the preexponential factor was found, thus confirming operation of the compensation law. In addition, by using the Eyring equation of the rate theory, the activation enthalpy ΔH≠ and the activation entropy ΔS≠ were calculated. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, a new CMOS CCII+ is proposed. The circuit is characterized by high precision in voltage tracking and exhibits very low input resistance. An adaptive voltage offset cancellation methodology is introduced and then applied to the proposed circuit. As a result, a higher accuracy CCII+ is presented. For both circuits, the voltage offset cancellation is independent of the input current and voltage. To demonstrate the strength of the proposed architectures, fair comparisons with Liu and Yodprasit CCII realizations are held. 相似文献

Multiwavelength erbium-doped fiber laser by means of phase modulation in a linear cavity configuration is presented. Stable multiwavelength lasing is achieved by applying any one of the waveforms of sine, square, sawtoothed, and triangular at a suitable frequency between 500 Hz to a few tens of kilohertz to the phase modulator. The output spectral lines power equalization is performed by adjusting the frequency to drive the all-fiber phase modulator and the polarization controller or dc offset voltage of a LiNbO/sub 3/ amplitude modulator, which is incorporated in a polarization-maintaining fiber Lyot-Sagnac filter. 相似文献

This paper deals with the performances fading of ultracapacitors under calendar life and power cycling tests. The used impedance model is analytical and based on physical quantities as double layer capacitance, specific area and electrolyte conductivity but also on elementary electrodes dispersion. This model is validated in frequency domain using the initial state of the tested ultracapacitor. Then, the two types of tests are presented and specified. A periodic characterization based on impedance spectroscopy is done in order to quantify the impedance changes during ageing tests. The obtained results confirm that impedance real part is increasing and the capacitance is decreasing during the two ageing tests, nevertheless the way they change is different. Indeed the impedance real part increase is independent of the frequency in calendar life test while, in power cycling test, this increase is accentuated at low frequencies. This difference will be explained thanks to impedance model parameters evolution. This study confirms that the two ageing tests affect differently the ultracapacitor performances. 相似文献

Pre-mRNA splicing is an essential step in gene expression and is catalyzed by two machineries in eukaryotes: the major (U2 type) and minor (U12 type) spliceosomes. While the majority of introns in humans are U2 type, less than 0.4% are U12 type, also known as minor introns (mi-INTs), and require a specialized spliceosome composed of U11, U12, U4atac, U5, and U6atac snRNPs. The high evolutionary conservation and apparent splicing inefficiency of U12 introns have set them apart from their major counterparts and led to speculations on the purpose for their existence. However, recent studies challenged the simple concept of mi-INTs splicing inefficiency due to low abundance of their spliceosome and confirmed their regulatory role in alternative splicing, significantly impacting the expression of their host genes. Additionally, a growing list of minor spliceosome-associated diseases with tissue-specific pathologies affirmed the importance of minor splicing as a key regulatory pathway, which when deregulated could lead to tissue-specific pathologies due to specific alterations in the expression of some minor-intron-containing genes. Consequently, uncovering how mi-INTs splicing is regulated in a tissue-specific manner would allow for better understanding of disease pathogenesis and pave the way for novel therapies, which we highlight in this review. 相似文献

Application of sulfamic acid as an efficient and green catalyst for the ring opening of epoxides by aliphatic and aromatic amines under solvent-free conditions is described. In this process the use of basic neutralization agent was not required due to the intrinsic zwitterionic property of sulfamic acid. The salient features of this methodology are cheaper process, easy availability of the catalyst, versatility, and the catalyst can be recovered after completion of the reaction and can be recycled without affecting the catalytic property. 相似文献

The thermometric, the weight-loss and the galvanostatic polarization techniques wereused to establish the inhibition of the dissolution of Al and Zn in HCl and NaOH by different concentrations of aqueous extract of Hibiscus subdariffa (Karkade). The extent of corrosion inhibition as measured by the three techniques is comparable. The results indicated that the additive acts by way of adsorption on both cathodic and anodic corrosion areas. Curves representing the variation of the reaction number (R.N.), in thermometric experiments, and the decrease in weight as a function of the concentration of the additive, are invariably sigmoid in nature. When present in enough amounts, the additive decreases the dissolution rate by as much as 85 per cent of the value recorded in its absence. 相似文献

Failure of design professionals to consider how a builder will implement the design can result in scheduling problems, delays, and disputes during the construction process. Constructability of design is a subjective scale that depends basically on a number of interdependent project-related factors. Many design firms have a formal (explicit) constructability program that is launched as early as the conceptual planning stage of the project.
