We used spray-dry method to synthesize fine powder of β-Cu1.8Zn0.2V2O7 showing large negative thermal expansion (NTE) linearly to temperature over a wide temperature range. The NTE of β-Cu1.8Zn0.2V2O7 is produced by microstructures consisting of voids and anisotropic thermal deformation of crystal grains in ceramics. By reducing the size of the microstructures that produce NTE, large NTE equivalent to that of bulk was realized, even for ceramic particles of about 2 μm size. Comparison with particles produced using a conventional method demonstrates that the particle size distribution is narrow and that the particles are nearly spherical. This achievement is expected to pave the way to use of NTE materials in micrometer-scale control of thermal expansion.  相似文献

In our previous studies on the relationships between lignin structure and hemicellulose composition in a wide range of hardwood species, we showed that the higher the syringyl ratio, the higher the xylan/mannan ratio. In this study, the relationship of the syringyl ratio and xylan/mannan ratio was further studied using fractions obtained by stepwise extraction of finely milled beech wood by use of aqueous dioxane and subsequent dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)/LiCl solvents with increasing LiCl concentration. Each soluble fraction obtained with a different LiCl concentration was compared with the corresponding insoluble residue, and it was shown that both the syringyl ratio and xylan/mannan ratio were always higher in the insoluble fraction. To analyze polysaccharides closely located with lignin, milled wood lignin (MWL), and cellulolytic enzyme lignin (CEL) obtained by enzyme treatment after DMSO/LiCl swelling were investigated. Although the xylan/mannan ratio of MWL was higher, that of CEL with more than 80% lignin yield was lower.  相似文献

ABCD1 is a gene responsible for X‐linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X‐ALD), and is critical for the transport of very long‐chain fatty acids (VLCFA) into peroxisomes and subsequent β‐oxidation. VLCFA‐containing lipids accumulate in X‐ALD patients, although the effect of ABCD1‐deficiency on each lipid species in the central nervous system has not been fully characterized. In this study, each phospholipid and lysophospholipid species in Abcd1‐deficient mice brains were profiled by liquid chromatography‐mass spectrometry. Among the phospholipid and lysophospholipid species that are significantly more enriched in Abcd1‐deficient mice brains, VLCFA were present in 75, 15, 5, 4, and 1 species of phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, sphingomyelin, lysophosphatidylcholine, and lysophosphatidylethanolamine, respectively. Most VLCFA were incorporated at the sn‐1 position of phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine. Among the phospholipid species that are significantly less enriched in Abcd1‐deficient mice brains, odd‐numbered saturated or mono‐unsaturated fatty acyl moieties are contained in all phosphatidylcholine species. In addition, a number of phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylinositol, and phosphatidylserine species contained highly unsaturated fatty acyl moieties. Intriguingly, 44:1 phosphatidylcholine with VLCFA was mainly distributed in the gray matter, such as the cortex, but not in the white matter in the cerebrum and cerebellum. These results show that ABCD1‐deficiency causes metabolic alternation of long‐chain fatty acids and VLCFA. Moreover, our results imply a molecular mechanism for the incorporation of saturated or monounsaturated VLCFA into the sn‐1 position of phospholipids, and also indicate that the distribution of phospholipids with VLCFA may correlate with the development of X‐ALD.  相似文献

Active oxidation behavior of CVD-SiC in CO─CO2 atmospheres was investigated using a thermogravimetric technique in the temperature range between 1823 and 1923 K. The gas pressure ratio, P CO2/ P CO, was controlled between 10−4 and 10−1 at 0.1 MPa. Active oxidation rates (mass loss rates) showed maxima at a certain value of P CO2/ P CO, ( P CO2/ P CO )*, In a P CO2/ P CO region lower than the ( P CO2/ P CO)* a carbon layer was formed on the SiC surface. In a P CO2/ P CO region higher than the ( P CO2/ P CO)*, silica particles or a porous silica layer was observed on the SiC surface.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This paper reviews our results on the acidolysis of dimeric non-phenolic β-O-4-type lignin model compounds in aqueous 82% 1,4-dioxane containing an acid at 85°C. It was shown that the mechanism of a C6-C2-type model compound, 2-(2-methoxyphenoxy)-1-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethanol IX, is fairly different from that of a C6-C3 analogue, 2-(2-methoxyphenoxy)-1-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)propane-1,3-diol XX, suggesting the significance of the presence of the γ-hydroxymethyl group. It was confirmed that the hydride transfer mechanism exists as a reaction route of the benzyl-cation-type intermediates derived from both compounds, and the contribution of this mechanism is greater than expected in the acidolysis of compound XX. An enol ether compound, 2-(2-methoxyphenoxy)-3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-ol, was first detected in the acidolysis of compound XX using the DBr/D2O/1,4-dioxane system. It was confirmed in the acidolysis of compound XX using HBr that the mechanism is different from that in the system using either HCl or H2SO4 and an unknown mechanism contributes to the reaction. This unknown mechanism surprisingly contributed more with decreasing concentration of HBr or Br?, provided that Br? still existed in the system.  相似文献

Residual stress of case-hardened steel samples is predicted in this paper with the linear multivariable regression model. The development of the prediction model is based on the huge set of features calculated from the Barkhausen noise measurement signal among which the most suitable ones are chosen. The selection uses a genetic algorithm with leave-multiple-out cross-validation in the objective function. The original feature set contains collinear features that make the selection task even more complex. Thus a feature elimination procedure based on the successive projections algorithm is studied in this paper. Also the standard genetic algorithm is slightly modified to better serve the feature selection task. The obtained results are good showing that the proposed procedures suit well for residual stress predictions. Also the applied feature elimination procedure is applicable and can be safely used to reduce the dimensionality of the selection problem.  相似文献

A Pd20Pt20Cu20Ni20P20 bulk metallic glass (BMG) with a high-entropy (HE) alloy composition and a maximum diameter of 10 mm was fabricated by fluxed water quenching. The system and composition of the Pd20Pt20Cu20Ni20P20 alloy were determined from a prototype ternary Pd40Ni40P20 BMG in accordance with two strategic alloy designs of (1) HE alloy defined by an equi-atomic alloy with five or more elements and (2) exchangeability of the constituent elements with a similar chemical nature in the periodic table. Pd20Pt20Cu20Ni20P20 HE-BMG had a supercooled liquid range of 65 K and a reduced glass transition temperature of 0.71. Successful formation of Pd20Pt20Cu20Ni20P20 HE-BMG is significant to develop new alloys for HE alloys and BMGs.  相似文献

High fatigue strength is one of the important factors that facilitates the industrial usage of bulk metallic glasses (BMGs). Fatigue data were analyzed using the Weibull probability models for BMGs produced with different casting processes in order to study the reliability of fatigue strengths of cast glassy alloys. The fatigue data of tilt-cast and high-pressure-cast BMGs can be explained by a three-parameter Weibull cumulative distribution function (cdf) and a mixture model of two-parameter Weibull cdfs, respectively. We conclude that the cast defects, which reduce fatigue strength, should be eliminated in order to realize a high reliability of fatigue strengths.  相似文献
