The measurement of the condensation heat transfer coefficient inside micro- and minichannels is still somewhat elusive due to the difficult task of getting accurate values of the heat transfer coefficients during the condensation process, particularly when studied within single minichannels. The present paper reports local heat transfer coefficients obtained from the measurement of the local heat flux and the direct measurement of the saturation and wall temperatures during condensation of R134a and R32 within a single circular 0.96 mm diameter minichannel. Except for the lowest mass velocity, the test results do not show significant discrepancy from the trends expected for macroscale tubes.  相似文献

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common relapsing inflammatory skin disorder characterized by immune-mediated inflammation and epidermal barrier dysfunction. The pathogenesis of AD is multifactorial and has not been fully elucidated to date. This study aimed to evaluate whether serum IgG from adult AD patients could modulate the thymic maturation of IL-22-producing T cells and CLA+ T cells of non-atopic infants. Given that miRNAs regulate immune response genes, we evaluated whether miRNA expression is also altered in cultured thymocytes. Thymocytes were cultured with purified IgG from AD patients or control conditions (mock, Intravenous-IgG (IVIg), non-atopic IgG, or atopic non-AD IgG). Using flow cytometry analysis, we assessed the expression of CLA and intracellular levels of IL-4, IFN-γ, and IL-22 on double-positive T cells (DP T), CD4 T cells, or CD8 T cells. We also investigated the frequency of IgG isotypes and their direct interaction with the thymic T cells membrane. The miRNA profiles were evaluated by the Illumina small RNA-seq approach. MiRNA target gene prediction and enrichment analyses were performed using bioinformatics. Increased frequencies of IL-22 and CLA+ producing CD4+ T cells cultured with IgG of AD patients was seen in non-atopic infant thymocytes compared to all control conditions. No alterations were observed in the frequency of IgG isotypes among evaluated IgG pools. Evidence for a direct interaction between IgG and thymic DP T, CD4 T, and CD8 T cells is presented. The small RNA-seq analysis identified ten mature miRNAs that were modulated by AD IgG compared to mock condition (miR-181b-5p, hsa-miR-130b-3p, hsa-miR-26a-5p, hsa-miR-4497, has-miR-146a, hsa-let-7i-5p, hsa-miR-342-3p, has-miR-148a-3p, has-miR-92a and has-miR-4492). The prediction of the targetome of the seven dysregulated miRNAs between AD and mock control revealed 122 putative targets, and functional and pathway enrichment analyses were performed. Our results enhance our understanding of the mechanism by which IgG can collaborate in thymic T cells in the setting of infant AD.  相似文献

The effect of the output power and output spectral distribution of the radiation energy fed to a photoreactor upon the reaction yield and selectivities is studied both theoretically and experimentally. The study aims at the analysis of these influences in a series reaction such as the photochlorination of methane where methylene chloride and eventually chloroform are the most valuable products. The computational model employed has been verified for a group of selected conditions by means of bench-sale experiments.

It is found that the chlorine conversion shows the expected square root dependence with respect to the Local Volumetric Rate of Energy Absorption (LVREA). This dependence, in a first approximation, can also be assigned to the effect of the radiation source output power upon yield. It is also found that by manipulating the amount of radiation power fed to the reactor it is possible to ascertain the operating conditions favoring the production of predetermined intermediate products (e.g., methylene chloride or chloroform).

It is concluded that the use of customized lamps especially designed for each particular product on the basis of feasible changes in the characteristics of the existing radiation sources will favor a selective and more economical production of some of the stable intermediates, i.e., lamp design is an important feature in any optimal process design.  相似文献

The overexpression of miR-218-5p in cervical cancer (CC) cell lines decreases migration, invasion and proliferation. The objective was to identify target genes of miR-218-5p and the signaling pathways and cellular processes that they regulate. The relationship between the expression of miR-218-5p and RUNX2 and overall survival in CC as well as the effect of the exogenous overexpression of miR-218-5p on the level of RUNX2 were analyzed. The target gene prediction of miR-218-5p was performed in TargetScan, miRTarBase and miRDB. Predicted target genes were subjected to gene ontology (GO) and pathway enrichment analysis using the Kyoto Encyclopaedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG). The miR-218-5p mimetic was transfected into C-33A and CaSki cells, and the miR-218-5p and RUNX2 levels were determined by RT–qPCR. Of the 118 predicted targets for miR-218-5p, 86 are involved in protein binding, and 10, including RUNX2, are involved in the upregulation of proliferation. Low miR-218-5p expression and a high level of RUNX2 are related to poor prognosis in CC. miR-218-5p overexpression is related to decreased RUNX2 expression in C-33A and CaSki cells. miR-218-5p may regulate RUNX2, and both molecules may be prognostic markers in CC.  相似文献

The micro-Raman spectroscopy was used for measuring the photo-polymerisation of composite resins. The elevated spatial resolution of the technique revealed surface non-homogeneities via the intensity variations of a strong band at 1400 cm−1 and the presence of weak bands around the CC and CO stretching frequencies. Values of the degree of monomer conversion (DC) were determined for samples of Z100 commercial composite irradiated with different wavelength laser beams. Two methods were used for obtaining DC values. The first one exploits band decompositions in the spectral region of interest around 1608 and 1637 cm−1. The non-uniqueness of the decomposition introduces relevant uncertainties, which are amplified by unwanted weak bands. An alternative method, avoiding any fit procedure and exploiting the band shape conservation under irradiation, was found producing more reliable results. The 632 nm line of the He-Ne laser was used as an exciting source. The measurements of the DC versus time are reported for three different wavelengths of the irradiation light. Preliminary studies of the CO stretching bands are also reported. Their intensities decrease under irradiation and there are indications of a behaviour similar to that of the CC aliphatic band.  相似文献

The addition of salts, like sodium bicarbonate (SB) or carbonate (SC), into the formulation of bioplastic materials may alter their hydrophilic character to a significant extent. Soy protein isolate (SPI) is a byproduct of the soybean oil industry, which, when properly blended with glycerol (GL), can be further processed through a lab-scale injection molding device. A maximum in the water uptake around 2250 or 2500% is obtained for bioplastics obtained when either SB or SC content is around 1 wt %, respectively. Thus, they exceed the limit to be considered superabsorbent materials (SAMs). Regarding their mechanical properties, a higher presence of SB within the SPI/GL matrix provides materials with a higher extensibility and lower Young's modulus. A higher water uptake is observed after replacing SB for SC in the formulation, probably related to a higher alkalinization of the material as well as to the high hydrophilicity of the carbonate. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
