In recent years, Software Defined Networking (SDN) has become an important candidate for communication infrastructure in smart cities. It produces a drastic increase in the need for delivery of video services that are of high resolution, multiview, and large-scale in nature. However, this entity gets easily influenced by heterogeneous behaviour of the user's wireless link features that might reduce the quality of video stream for few or all clients. The development of SDN allows the emergence of new possibilities for complicated controlling of video conferences. Besides, multicast routing protocol with multiple constraints in terms of Quality of Service (QoS) is a Nondeterministic Polynomial time (NP) hard problem which can be solved only with the help of metaheuristic optimization algorithms. With this motivation, the current research paper presents a new Improved Black Widow Optimization with Levy Distribution model (IBWO-LD)-based multicast routing protocol for smart cities. The presented IBWO-LD model aims at minimizing the energy consumption and bandwidth utilization while at the same time accomplish improved quality of video streams that the clients receive. Besides, a priority-based scheduling and classifier model is designed to allocate multicast request based on the type of applications and deadline constraints. A detailed experimental analysis was carried out to ensure the outcomes improved under different aspects. The results from comprehensive comparative analysis highlighted the superiority of the proposed IBWO-LD model over other compared methods.  相似文献

We investigated the hydrodynamic behavior and mass transfer characteristics of a pilot-scale conventional packed bed extraction column of mercaptan removal from liquid propane. The extraction column was filled with pall rings structured packing where mercaptan was extracted from the continuous phase to the dispersed phase, accompanied by a chemical reaction in propane-mercaptan-caustic system. The pulsing was introduced into the column to enhance the mass transfer rate. Hydrodynamic parameters such as hold up, flooding velocity and mean drop size were studied together with the effect of chemical reaction on increasing mass transfer performance. Finally, the mass transfer and axial mixing coefficients were obtained from the optimization of data by ADM. It was found that at the pulsation intensity from 0.003 to 0.007 m/s, the maximum mass transfer and minimum axial mixing occurred and it can be concluded that pulsation improves the efficiency of mass transfer just at low intensities.  相似文献

The effect of Phosphotungstic acid (PWA) on the proton conductivity and morphology of zirconium phosphate (ZrP), porous polytetrafluoethylene (PTFE), glycerol (GLY) composite membrane was investigated in this work. The composite membranes were synthesized using two approaches: (1) Phosphotungstic acid (PWA) added to phosphoric acid and, (2) PWA + silicic acid were added to phosphoric acid. ZrP was formed inside the pores of PTFE via the in situ precipitation. The membranes were evaluated for their morphology and proton conductivity. The proton conductivity of PWA–ZrP/PTFE/GLY membrane was 0.003 S cm?1. When PWA was combined with silicic acid, the proton conductivity increased from 0.003 to 0.059 S cm?1 (became about 60% of Nafion’s). This conductivity is higher than the proton conductivity of Nafion–silica–PWA membranes reported in the literature. The SEM results showed a porous structure for the modified membranes. The porous structure combined with this reasonable proton conductivity would make these membranes suitable as the electrolyte component in the catalyst layer for direct hydrocarbon fuel cell applications.  相似文献

The voltage-gated K+ channels Kv3.1 display fast activation and deactivation kinetics and are known to have a crucial contribution to the fast-spiking phenotype of certain neurons. AahG50, as a natural product extracted from Androctonus australis hector venom, inhibits selectively Kv3.1 channels. In the present study, we focused on the biochemical and pharmacological characterization of the component in AahG50 scorpion venom that potently and selectively blocks the Kv3.1 channels. We used a combined optimization through advanced biochemical purification and patch-clamp screening steps to characterize the peptide in AahG50 active on Kv3.1 channels. We described the inhibitory effect of a toxin on Kv3.1 unitary current in black lipid bilayers. In silico, docking experiments are used to study the molecular details of the binding. We identified the first scorpion venom peptide inhibiting Kv3.1 current at 170 nM. This toxin is the alpha-KTx 15.1, which occludes the Kv3.1 channel pore by means of the lysine 27 lateral chain. This study highlights, for the first time, the modulation of the Kv3.1 by alpha-KTx 15.1, which could be an interesting starting compound for developing therapeutic biomolecules against Kv3.1-associated diseases.  相似文献

A total of 64 samples of sorghum (37 Tunisian sorghum samples and 27 Egyptian sorghum samples) were collected during 2011–2012 from markets in Tunisia. Samples were analysed for contamination with aflatoxin B1, ochratoxin A and zearalenone by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Coupled with Fluorescence Detection (HPLC-FLD). Aflatoxin B1 was found in 38 samples in the range 0.03–31.7 µg kg?1. Ochratoxin A was detected in 24 samples with concentrations ranging from 1.04 to 27.8 µg kg?1. Zearalenone was detected in 21 samples and the concentration varied between 3.7 and 64.5 µg kg?1. ANOVA analysis of the influence of the country of origin on the incidence and concentration of mycotoxins in the samples studied showed no significant difference (P > 0.05) between the two batches of samples for each of the three mycotoxins studied. The studied mycotoxins contaminate sorghum and may also co-exist because of the diversity of the mycobiota in this cereal.  相似文献

实际应用中存在大量的丢失数据的数据集,对丢失数据的处理已成为目前分类领域的研究热点。分析和比较了几种通用的丢失数据填充算法,并提出一种新的基于EM和贝叶斯网络的丢失数据填充算法。算法利用朴素贝叶斯估计出EM算法初值,然后将EM和贝叶斯网络结合进行迭代确定最终更新器,同时得到填充后的完整数据集。实验结果表明,与经典填充算法相比,新算法具有更高的分类准确率,且节省了大量开销。  相似文献

A multi-fluid formulation based on the k? turbulence closure is used for modeling bubbly flow in vertical pipes. Each bubble-size group is considered as a separate dispersed phase. The current k? based multi-fluid models suffer from the problem of large overprediction of void fraction peak and lead to satisfactory results in limited ranges. In this study, first, we establish a model for gas lift simulations in wells. For this purpose, we propose new modified lift and wall force coefficients by tuning the model with many experimental databases. As shown here, the tuned multi-fluid model is able to predict flows in all the three bubbly flow subregimes, namely the wall-peak, core-peak, and transition subregimes, with reasonable accuracy. The predictions by the tuned model are compared with other numerical simulations, as well. Finally, the tuned model is used to simulate gas-lift problems in oil wells and the performance of eight empirical and semi-empirical correlations for predicting pressure drop is investigated, carefully. It is observed that, there is a correlation (i.e. Guet, S., Ooms, G., Oliemans, R.V.A., Mudde, R.F., 2004. Bubble size effect on low liquid input drift-flux parameters. Chem. Eng. Sci. 59, 3315–3329) which predicts gravitational pressure drop in very good agreement with the tuned multi-fluid model in all ranges of bubble diameters, including the wall-peak and core-peak regimes.  相似文献

Granule sizes, macromolecular features and thermal and pasting properties of starches from seven tropical sources (Florido, Kponan and Esculenta yams, cocoyam, cassava, sweet potato and ginger) were compared with those of several well‐known cereal, legume and tuber starches. The aim of the study was to characterise some non‐conventional starches with a view to possibly marketing them. Amylose content varied from 148 mg g?1 in Esculenta starch to 354 mg g?1 in smooth pea starch. For total starches, weight‐average molar mass (M?w) ranged between 0.94 × 108 and 1.80 × 108 g mol?1 for potato and normal maize starches respectively. Gyration radius (R?G) varied from 157 nm for ginger starch to 209 nm for normal maize starch. Gelatinisation enthalpy (ΔH) ranged between 9.8 and 20.7 J g?1 for wheat and Florido starches respectively. Gelatinisation peak temperature (Tg) varied from 58.1 °C for wheat starch to 87.3 °C for ginger starch. Native starch granule mean diameter ranged between 5.1 and 44.5 µm for Esculenta and potato starches respectively. Cassava and potato starches had the highest swelling power and dispersed volume fraction at all treatment temperatures, while ginger starch had the lowest. Cocoyam starch had the highest and ginger starch the lowest solubility at 85 and 95 °C. Cassava starch was the most stable under cold storage conditions. Roots and tubers such as ginger and cassava produced in the Ivory Coast are new sources of starches with very interesting properties. A new nano-sized Zn(II) complex, [Zn(5,5′-dtbu-2,2′-bipy)Cl2] n (1) was synthesized and its structure determined by X-ray crystallography. The new nano-sized complex was prepared at oleic acid as a surfactant at 280 °C and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, elemental analyses and IR spectroscopy. The ZnO nano-particles were synthesized from thermolysis of nano-compound 1 at 600 °C and similar compound, [Zn(5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipy)Cl2] n (2), at two different methods. SEM images show the average size of ZnO nano-particles are 78 and 50 nm for the compounds 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献
