This work reports the production of fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEE) from the transesterification of soybean oil in supercritical ethanol in a continuous catalyst-free process using different reactor configurations. Experiments were performed in a microtube reactor with experimental simulation of two reactors operated in series and a reactor with recycle, both configurations at a constant temperature of 573 K, pressure of 20 MPa and oil to ethanol mass ratio of 1:1. Results show that the configurations studied with intermediate separation of glycerol afford higher conversions of vegetable oil to its fatty acid ethyl ester derivatives when compared to the one-step reaction, with relatively low decomposition of fatty acids (<3.0 wt%).  相似文献

Dilute mixed-acid pretreatment of sugarcane bagasse for ethanol production   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Integral utilisation of bagasse is a high priority for the diversification of the sugarcane industry. The application of a biorefinery philosophy to bagasse utilisation requires its fractionation into its main components: cellulose, hemicelluloses and lignin. The first stage in that process is the pretreatment, in which a considerable part of hemicelluloses is solubilised, and cellulose is activated towards enzymatic hydrolysis. In this work, a pretreatment method using a mixture of sulfuric and acetic acid is investigated. Two different solid-to-liquid ratios (1.5:10 and 1:10) were used in the pretreatment. Both conditions efficiently hydrolysed the hemicelluloses giving removals above 90%. The extractive components were also effectively solubilised, and lignin was only slightly affected. Cellulose degradation was below 15%, which corresponded to the low crystallinity fraction. The analysis of the morphology of pretreated bagasse confirmed the results obtained in the chemical characterization.  相似文献

This paper describes the study of the impact of energy absorption by wave farms on the nearshore wave climate and, in special, the influence of the incident wave conditions and the number and position of the wave farms, on the nearshore wave characteristics is studied and discussed. The study was applied to the maritime zone at the West coast off Portugal, namely in front of São Pedro de Moel, where it is foreseen the deployment of offshore wave energy prototypes and farms between the 30 m and 90 m bathymetric lines, with an area of 320 Km2. In this study the REFDIF model was adapted in order to model the energy extraction by wave farms. Three different sinusoidal incident wave conditions were considered. Five different wave farm configurations, varying the position of the wave farm, its number and the width of the navigation channels at each wave farm were analysed. The results for each configuration in terms of the change of the wave characteristics (wave height and wave direction) at the nearshore are presented, compared and discussed for three representative wave conditions.  相似文献

External louvres are increasingly used to provide solar protection for building glazed surfaces. The integration of collectors into the external louvres of buildings offers a means of reducing system cost as well as providing architects with more freedom to integrate the technology into their designs. This work concerns the modification of existing louvre designs to integrate a solar collector in the shading device. The evaluation of a thermal solar system for water heating is assessed in this paper. A numerical model for the integrated solar collector was developed for different configurations and the collector efficiency is quantified for each configuration. System thermal performance was obtained for the climatic conditions of Lisbon (Portugal) and Tenerife (Spain). Economic and environmental viability of the system is assessed.  相似文献

New diglycidyl esters coming from the corresponding diacids and epichlorohydrin were synthetized using a quaternary ammonium salt as a catalyst. The new asymmetric compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods and employed as starting monomers in a crosslinking process. The course of the reactions was followed by IR spectroscopy. Some intermediate species were identified in the onset of the reactions by recording 13C-NMR spectra until the products became insoluble in the usual deuterated solvents. The thermal behaviour of these cured epoxy resins was also studied.  相似文献

Male rats maintained at 24 C and then shifted to 5 C for 5 days increased food intake and decreased in growth rate and food conversion. No modification was observed in Δ6 desaturase activity, while Δ9 desaturase activity decreased after this period of time. These results were confirmed by liver microsomal and mitochondrial fatty acid composition. The phospholipid composition of liver microsomes was unaltered, whereas in mitochondria, phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin decreased and phosphatidylethanolamine increased due to the cold environment. The influence of food intake and weight changes on fatty acid metabolism was studied using (i) rats maintained at 5 C with restricted food intake to match the food intake of those kept at 24 C with food ad libitum and (ii) rats maintained at 24 C whose food intake was also restricted so that their growth rate would be the same as that of rats maintained at 5 C with food ad libitum, respectively. These results indicate that the negative metabolic balance state of these cold conditions is not an active factor modifier of Δ6 desaturase activity, whereas it decreases Δ9 desaturase activity, reflecting the lipogenic characteristics of the latter enzyme.  相似文献

Agroecosystems in Tlaxcala, Mexico, are surrounded by trees and water channels and have a great variety of cultivated and noncultivated plants. The main results of a study carried out on a traditional agroecosystem in Santa Inés, Tlaxcala are presented. Some ecological aspects of polycultures, plant covers (dry leaves ofAlnus firmifolia, Berula erecta, andJuncus sp.), and the allelopathic potential of crops and noncultivated plants (fresh and dry material) were analyzed. The main plants (trees, shrubs, and herbs) present in the agroecosystem were identified. The total number of weeds in plots where plant covers were added was reduced. The number of nodules ofRhizobium phaseoli and the production of bean and squash increased with plant covers. Corn, beans, and squash showed a clear allelopathic effect, as well asChenopodium murale, Tradescantia crassifolia, Melilotus indicus, andAmaranthus hybridus, among other weeds. The contribution of allelopathy in studies of traditional agroecosystems is of great importance for the management of species in space and time. Allelopathy can be the basis of biological control of pests and weeds and of the discovery of new useful substances.  相似文献

At first new epoxy derivatives, namely glycidylimide compounds, have been prepared using benzyltrimethylammonium chloride as catalyst and epichlorohydrin in excess. Their chemical and physical properties were studied. Spectral data confirmed these new structures. Afterwards new epoxy resins have been synthesized by the reaction of diimides and their glycidyl derivatives in N,N-dimethylformamide. The physical characteristics of the obtained polymers and also their solubilities are reported. Their IR, 1H- and 13C-NMR spectra allowed to confirm the polymer structure. Thermal analysis of these compounds showed their good thermal properties.  相似文献

The main objective of this study was the sensory characterization, by a taste and a consumers’ panel, of fresh sausages from 140 culled goats and 140 culled ewes. Species and type of preparation effects were studied. All data were previously analyzed by analysis of variance. Taste panel data were analyzed by a Generalized Procrustes Analysis (GPA). Consumers’ panel data were analyzed by Preference Mapping. The 1st 2 factors explained 88.22% of total variation in GPA. Different sausages samples were perfectly differentiated by assessors. Goat sausages have been considered harder, more fibrous, and less juicy than sheep sausages. The panelists observed that sheep sausages without paprika had greater intensity of flavor, tasted spicy, and had an off‐odor, while goat sausages with paprika were considered sweeter. Consumers’ panel did not show any preference for the different types of sausages. This means that all types of sausages can have market opportunity.  相似文献
