Multiview super resolution image reconstruction (SRIR) is often cast as a resampling problem by merging non-redundant data from multiple images on a finer grid, while inverting the effect of the camera point spread function (PSF). One main problem with multiview methods is that resampling from nonuniform samples (provided by multiple images) and the inversion of the PSF are highly nonlinear and ill-posed problems. Non-linearity and ill-posedness are typically overcome by linearization and regularization, often through an iterative optimization process, which essentially trade off the very same information (i.e. high frequency) that we want to recover. We propose a different point of view for multiview SRIR that is very much like single-image methods which extrapolate the spectrum of one image selected as reference from among all views. However, for this, the proposed method relies on information provided by all other views, rather than prior constraints as in single-image methods which may not be an accurate source of information. This is made possible by deriving explicit closed-form expressions that define how the local high frequency information that we aim to recover for the reference high resolution image is related to the local low frequency information in the sequence of views. The locality of these expressions due to modeling using wavelets reduces the problem to an exact and linear set of equations that are well-posed and solved algebraically without requiring regularization or interpolation. Results and comparisons with recently published state-of-the-art methods show the superiority of the proposed solution.  相似文献

Removal of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions using modified red pine sawdust   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The adsorption of Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions on sawdust (SD), base extracted sawdust (BESD) and tartaric acid modified sawdust (TASD) of Turkish red pine tree (Pinus nigra), a timber industry waste, was studied at varying Cr(VI) concentrations, adsorbent dose, modifier concentration and pH. Batch adsorption studies have been carried out. Sawdust was collected from waste timber industry and modified with various amount of tartaric acid (TA) (0.1-1.5M). The batch sorption kinetics has been tested and the applicability of the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms for the present system has been tested at 25+/-2 degrees C. Under observed test conditions, the equilibrium adsorption data fits the linear Freundlich isotherms. An initial pH of 3.0 was most favorable for Cr(VI) removal by all adsorbents. Maximum Cr(VI) was sequestered from the solution within 120 min after the beginning for every experiment. The experimental result inferred that chelation and ion exchange is one of the major adsorption mechanisms for binding metal ions to the SD. Percentage removal of Cr(VI) was maximum at the initial pH of 3.0 (87.7, 70.6 and 55.2% by TASD, BESD, and SD, respectively). Adsorption capacities range from 8.3 to 22.6 mg/g for SD samples.  相似文献

Fe2O3-SiO2 nanocomposites were prepared by a sol-gel method using various evaporation surface to volume (S/V) ratios ranging from 0.03 to 0.2. The Fe2O3-SiO2 sols were gelated at various temperatures ranging from 50 degrees C to 70 degrees C, and subsequently they were calcined in air at 400 degrees C for 4 hours. The structure and the magnetic properties of the prepared Fe203-SiO2 nanocomposites were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), differential thermal analysis (DTA), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) measurements. The gelation temperature of the Fe2O3-SiO2 sols influenced strongly the particle size and crystallinity of the maghemite nanoparticles. It was observed that the particle size of maghemite nanoparticles increased with the increasing of the gelation temperature of the sols, which may be due to the agglomeration of the maghemite particles at elevated temperatures inside the microporosity of the silica matrix during the gelation process, and the subsequent calcination of these gels at 400 degrees C resulted in the formation of large size iron oxide particles. Magnetization studies at temperatures of 10, 195, and 300 K showed superparamagnetic behavior for all the nanocomposites prepared using the evaporation surface to volume ratio (S/V) of 0.1, 0.2, 0.09, and 0.08. The saturation magnetization, Ms, values measured at 10 K were 5.5, 8.5, and 9.5 emu/g, for the samples gelated at 50, 60, and 70 degrees C, respectively. At the gelation temperature of 70 degrees C, gamma-Fe2O3 crystalline superparamagnetic nanoparticles with the particle size of 9 +/- 2 nm were formed in 12 hours for the samples prepared at the S/V ratio of 0.2.  相似文献

To evaluate the effect of different surface treatment protocols on the microtensile bond strength (μTBS) of bulk-fill resin composite repairs. Thirty-five bulk-fill resin composite samples (Filtek Bulk Fill) were prepared (5 × 5 × 5 mm) and aged by thermocycling (X5000). Samples were randomly divided into five groups (n = 7): a control (no treatment) and four surface treatment groups (Single Bond Universal [SBU]; phosphoric acid (37%) + SBU; Er,Cr:YSGG laser + SBU; aluminum oxide sandblasting + SBU). Filtek Ultimate Universal composite was used as a repair material. After storage for 24 h in distilled water (37 °C), sticks were obtained and subjected to a μTBS test. The data (MPa) were analyzed by one-way ANOVA with a post hoc test (α = 0.05). Failure mode was evaluated using a light microscope (10×). There were significant differences between the groups (p < 0.05). The lowest bond strength values were obtained in the control group (p < 0.05). No significant difference was observed between Group II (universal adhesive) and Group III (acid etch + universal adhesive) (p > 0.05). The bond strength of Group II was significantly lower than that of the other surface treatment groups (p < 0.05). While Group III showed significantly lower values than those of the laser treatment group (Group IV), similar values were obtained with Al2O3 sandblasting group (Group V). The highest repair bond strength was obtained in Group IV (p < 0.05) which was not significantly different from the Al2O3 sandblasting group (p > 0.05). The predominant failure mode was adhesive. Treatment of aged bulk-fill resin composite surfaces with laser and Al2O3 sandblasting provided higher repair bond strength values.  相似文献

Few studies investigating the effects of automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) and continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) on health-related quality of life (HRQoL), depression, and sleep quality exist in the literature. We aimed to determine differences between APD and CAPD modalities with respect to these parameters. Twenty APD and 48 CAPD patients were included in this cross-sectional study. Biochemical values were measured at outpatient evaluation. A modified postsleep inventory was used to evaluate sleep quality. Health-related quality of life and depression were evaluated by the Short Form of Medical Outcomes Study and Beck Depression Inventory, respectively. Automated peritoneal dialysis and CAPD patients were compared in terms of sleep quality, HRQoL, and depression. Our results showed that there were no significant differences between APD and CAPD in any of the studied parameters. Moderate or severe sleep problems were found in 60% and 69% of the APD and CAPD patients, respectively. Mean HRQoL scores for any of the 8 Short Form of Medical Outcomes Study-36 domains were similar in the 2 groups. The mean physical component score was 51.1 ± 21.2 and 48.9 ± 18.2 in APD and CAPD patients, respectively (P=0.672). The mean mental component score was 47.5 ± 20.1 in APD patients, whereas it was 42.4 ± 19.5 in CAPD patients (P=0.291). Depression was detected in 70% of APD and 62.5% of the CAPD patients. The mean Beck Depression Inventory scores were also similar in the 2 groups. This study showed that HRQoL, sleep quality, and depression were similar in APD and CAPD patients.  相似文献

A photovoltaic-thermal (PV-T) integrated ethanol proton exchange membrane electrolyzer (PEME) was proposed as a low-energy consuming energy storage option for renewable-sourced electricity as well as a way for simultaneous chemical production in this study. Energy and exergy analyses were applied to each component of the system (e.g., pumps, heat exchanger, PV-T, PEME, and separation unit (SPU)) and the whole system to assess the system performance. The mathematical modelling of the whole system along with its main components except for the SPU was done using the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) software package while the SPU was modelled through the ASPEN Plus. A detailed modelling of the PEME was also included. The effects of the PV-T and PEME parameters on energy and exergy efficiencies of the system were evaluated while the improvement potentials and scale up options were discussed. Energy and exergy efficiencies of the proposed system at the optimum operation of the PEME and under average climatic conditions in the city of Izmir, Turkey were determined to be 27.8% and 3.1%, respectively. Energy and exergy efficiencies of the system were mainly regulated by the PV-T and PEME, whose energy and exergy efficiencies were 40.6%, 56.6% and 13.8%, 14.1%, respectively. Effective PEME parameters for energy and exergy efficiencies of the system were membrane conductivity, membrane thickness, anode catalyst and the operation temperature of the PEME. By changing the PV-T and PEME parameters and by scale-up, energy and exergy efficiencies of the system could be improved.  相似文献

The synthesis, spectroscopic characterization, and antimicrobial efficiency of gold and silver nanoparticles embedded in novel amphiphilic comb-type graft copolymers having good film-forming properties have been described. Amphiphilic comb-type graft copolymers were synthesized by the reaction of chlorinated polypropylene (PP) (M w = 140,000 Da) with polyethylene glycol (PEG) (M n  = 2,000 Da) at different molar ratios. Metal nanoparticles embedded graft copolymers were prepared by reducing solutions of the salts of silver or gold and the copolymer in tetrahydrofuran. The optical properties of the metal nanoparticle embedded copolymers were determined by using UV–visible spectroscopy. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) of the gold and silver nanoparticle embedded copolymers in toluene was observed at a maximum wavelength (λmax) of 428 and 551 nm in the UV–VIS absorption spectra, respectively. The average particle diameters of the gold and silver nanoparticles were found to be 50 nm from the high resolution scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Amphiphilic polymer films containing silver and gold nanoparticles were found to be highly antimicrobial by virtue of their antiseptic properties to Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.  相似文献

The present study was conducted to evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial and antioxidant properties of essential oil and methanol extracts from a unique and endemic plant, Thymus spathulifolius (Hausskn. and Velen.). The antimicrobial test results showed that the essential oil of T. spathulifolius strongly inhibited the growth of test microorganisms studied, except for 4 fungi species while polar and non-polar subfractions of the methanol extract had moderate antibacterial, but not antifungal and anticandidal activity. The antioxidative potential of the samples was evaluated using two separate methods, inhibition of free radical 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and β-carotene–linoleic acid systems. The polar subfraction of the methanol extract was able to reduce the stable free radical 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) with an IC50 of 16.15 ± 0.5 μg/ml, which was lower than that of synthetic antioxidant, BHT, (19.8 ± 0.5 μg/ml). Inhibition values of linoleic acid oxidation were calculated as 92% and 89% for the oil and the polar subfraction, respectively. Gallic acid equivalent total phenolic constituent of the polar subfraction was 141.00 ± 0.90 μg/mg (14.1%, w/w). The chemical composition of a hydrodistilled essential oil of T. spathulifolius was analyzed by a GC and GC/MS system. A total of 28 constituents representing 99.2% of the oil were identified; thymol (36.5%), carvacrol (29.8%), p-cymene (10.0%) and γ-terpinene (6.3%) were the main components comprising 82.6% of the oil. Results presented here may suggest that the essential oil and extracts of T. spathulifolius possess antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, and therefore, they can be used as a natural preservative ingredient in food and/or pharmaceutical industry.  相似文献

The suitability of two kinetic models and the thermodynamic parameters of pesticide adsorption were investigated based on obtained data of previous studies. Kinetic evaluation indicated that the pesticides adsorption on adsorbents followed the pseudo-second-order model. Gibbs free energy (ΔG°), enthalpy (ΔH°), and entropy (ΔS°) were calculated for thermodynamic parameters by using linearized Arrhenius equation. The results indicated that the sorption process of fenitrothion was exothermic and spontaneous in nature whereas sorption process of trifluralin was endothermic and spontaneous at all temperature. Low value of ΔH° obtained from experiments indicated that adsorption of both pesticides was likely due to physisorption.  相似文献
