In this study, we investigated the quality and shelf‐life of a dragee product obtained by coating a confectionery sunflower kernel with sugar syrup. The product was packed in oriented polypropylene/oriented polypropylene, oriented polypropylene/metallised oriented polypropylene, polyester/polyethylene and kept at room temperature in daylight for 5 months. At the beginning of the experiment, the dragee product was in the category of excellent sensory quality (total score of sensory evaluation is between 18.0 and 20.0) in terms of its colour, smell, taste, mastication and structure. During the storage, these properties changed and the product lost its stability. Peroxide value in the dragee product increased from 0.5 to 9.0 mmol O/kg during the 5 months of storage. The free fatty acid content also increased from 1.3% in fresh dragee product to 2.5% after 5 months of storage. The packaging material metallised polyester/polyethylene, labelled metPET/PE, has the lowest oxygen permeability (8.0 mL m?2/dan Δp 1 bar) and because of this it had the strongest influence in the prevention of hydrolytic and oxidative changes in the final product.  相似文献

In winter and summer of 2016 and 2017, airborne fungi and house dust were collected in indoors of the village Gunja, which had been flooded, and the control village Gornji Stupnik (Croatia) in order to explore variations of fungal indoor levels, particularly Aspergilli section Nidulantes series Versicolores, as well as fungal metabolites in dust. Levels of airborne Aspergilli (Versicolores) were three times as high in winter and summer in Gunja than in the control village, while dustborne isolates were equally present in both locations. Sequencing of the calmodulin gene region revealed that among Aspergilli (Versicolores), A. jensenii and A. creber were dominant and together with A. puulaauensis, A. tennesseensis and A. venenatus produced sterigmatocystin and 5-methoxysterigmatocystin (HPLC coupled with mass spectrometry); A. amoenus, A. fructus, A. griseoaurantiacus, A. pepii, and A. protuberus produced sterigmatocystin but not 5-methoxysterigmatocystin; A. sydowii did not produce any of these toxins. A total of 75 metabolites related to Penicillium (29), Aspergillus (22), Fusarium (10), Alternaria (5), Stachybotrys (2), and other fungi (7) were detected in dust by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The majority of metabolites including sterigmatocystin and 5-methoxysterigmatocystin exhibited a higher prevalence in winter in Gunja.  相似文献

Melanoma is a highly metastatic disease with an increasing rate of incidence worldwide. It is treatment refractory and has poor clinical prognosis; therefore, the development of new therapeutic agents for metastatic melanoma are urgently required. In this study, we created a lung-seeking A375LM5IF4g/Luc BRAFV600E mutant melanoma cell clone and investigated the bioefficacy of a plant sesquiterpene lactone deoxyelephantopin (DET) and its novel semi-synthetic derivative, DETD-35, in suppressing metastatic A375LM5IF4g/Luc melanoma growth in vitro and in a xenograft mouse model. DET and DETD-35 treatment inhibited A375LM5IF4g/Luc cell proliferation, and induced G2/M cell-cycle arrest and apoptosis. Furthermore, A375LM5IF4g/Luc exhibited clonogenic, metastatic and invasive abilities, and several A375LM5IF4g/Luc metastasis markers, N-cadherin, MMP2, vimentin and integrin α4 were significantly suppressed by treatment with either compound. Interestingly, DET- and DETD-35-induced Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) generation and glutathione (GSH) depletion were found to be upstream events important for the in vitro activities, because exogenous GSH supplementation blunted DET and DETD-35 effects on A375LM5IF4g/Luc cells. DET and DETD-35 also induced mitochondrial DNA mutation, superoxide production, mitochondrial bioenergetics dysfunction, and mitochondrial protein deregulation. Most importantly, DET and DETD-35 inhibited lung metastasis of A375LM5IF4g/Luc in NOD/SCID mice through inhibiting pulmonary vascular permeability and melanoma cell (Mel-A+) proliferation, angiogenesis (VEGF+, CD31+) and EMT (N-cadherin) in the tumor microenvironment in the lungs. These findings indicate that DET and DETD-35 may be useful in the intervention of lung metastatic BRAFV600E mutant melanoma.  相似文献

Microstructure and magnetic properties of nanoparticles can be tailored by optimising the synthesis procedure and changing chemical composition. In this study, a two-step procedure, i.e., coprecipitation in the presence of PEG 300 followed by microwave assisted (MW) hydrothermal synthesis, was introduced to obtain CoxFe3-xO4 (x?=?0, 0.1 and 0.2) nanoparticles. It was found that with the increase of Co content, particle/crystallite size increased, with significant change of coercivity (Hc). The mixed samples of CoxFe3-xO4 (x?=?0.1 and 0.2) were magnetically harder in comparison with Fe3O4. Тhe Hc of Fe3O4 was 91?Oe, while for Co0.10Fe2.90O4 and Co0.20Fe2.80O4, Hc was 256?Oe and 1070?Oe, respectively. Saturation magnetisation (Ms) of mixed samples also increased up to 6% compared to Fe3O4. A special effort was devoted to study the effects of introducing different surfactants (PEG 300, PEG 4000 or SDS) during the synthesis procedure in order to improve morphological and microstructural properties of CoFe2O4 nanoparticles. The influence of surfactants on physical/chemical properties of nanoparticles is discussed.  相似文献

The influence of microstructure, heat treatment and alloying addition on mechanical and fracture properties of Ti3Al-based intermetallic at room and elevated temperatures was studied. Ti3Al–11Nb–1Mo (mole fraction, %) alloy was consolidated via powder metallurgy processing by mechanical alloying (MA) and hot pressing (HP). MA powders were characterized using XRD and SEM-EDS. Optimum MA duration was 25 h and HP conditions of 1350 °C, 2 h, 35 MPa. After HP, solution treatment at 1050 °C for 1 h and water quenching α2+β Widmanstätten microstructure is present, while subsequent aging at 800 °C during 24 h induces small content of O-phase. High fraction of β-phase is a direct consequence of Mo. Compression tests were performed from room temperature to 750 °C in vacuum. The yield strength of compacts increases with temperature up to 250 °C (pyramidal slip systems activation), after which it decreases. Ductility increases throughout the whole temperature range. The presence of O phase contributed to ductility increase in aged alloys, while negligibly lowering yield strength. Registered drop in the yield strength of aged alloys compared with non-aged ones was mostly influenced by precipitation of α2 particles. Mixed fracture modes are operative at all temperatures.  相似文献

Cookies prepared with white or wholegrain wheat flours and substituted with high-oleic sunflower seed (10 g/100 g and 30 g/100 g supplementation levels) and hull-less barley flour (30 g/100 g and 50 g/100 g levels) were evaluated for nutritional properties, physical and sensory attributes. Sunflower seed significantly increased the contents of Se, Zn, Mg, and Ca, as well as the contents of α-tocopherol and fat in cookies. The contents of Se, Cu, Fe, Zn and β-glucan were raised in cookies by barley supplementation. It was estimated that 100 g of barley and sunflower seed-supplemented cookies can meet about 18–49% of dietary reference intake (DRI) for Se. Both supplemented cookies were found not to pose a significant risk, with regard to excessive intakes of heavy elements (Pb, Cd, As, Hg). In addition, the supplementation with sunflower seed improved sensory properties of the cookies.  相似文献

Two lexical-decision experiments investigated the effects of semantic priming and stimulus intensity when target location varied and was cued by an abrupt onset. In Experiment 1, the spatial cue was a good predictor of target location, and in Experiment 2 it was not. The results indicate that word recognition processes were postponed until spatial attention was focused on the target and that whether attention further affected word recognition depended on cue validity. The joint effects of cue validity and priming interacted when cue validity was high but were additive when cue validity was low. The joint effects of stimulus intensity and semantic priming also varied according to cue validity (i.e., interactive when high and additive when low). The results are discussed in terms of their implications for visual word recognition, the distinction between exogenous and endogenous spatial attention, and how attention is affected by visual word recognition processes.
