Reactive energy measurement using frequency controlled analog-to-pulse-rate converter

Contents This paper analyzes a problem of phase shifting and deseribes a novel method for electronic reactive energy measurement. The proposed measurement structure, composed of an integrator as a phase shifting circuit and a frequency controlled analog-to-pulse-rate converter, provides for the measurement completely in accordance with IEC definition of reactive energy, which is performed with simple but high performance metering device.

Die Blindverbrauchsmessung anhand eines netzsynchronisierten Analog-Frequenz-Wandlers

Übersicht In diesem Artikel wird das Problem der Phasenverschiebung analysiert und eine neue Meßmethode für elektronische Blindverbrauschsmessung aufgezeigt. Die vorgeschlagene Strucktur, bestehend aus einem Integrator als Phasenschieber und netzkontrolliertem Analog-Frequenz-Wandler, ermöglicht die Verwirklichung eines einfachen aber präzisen Elektrizitätszählers zur Messung der Blindenergie, dessen Arbeitsprinzip mit den IEC Empfehlungen vollkommen übereinstimmt.

大花水水电站坝基地质条件及主要工程地质问题评价

大花水水电站碾压混凝土双曲拱坝最大坝高134.5 m,为目前国内外同类坝型坝高之最。大坝坝基处于软硬岩相间的顺向河谷上,大部分为强可溶岩地层,尤以沿垂直河向结构面及左岸古河床部位岩溶极发育。坝址左右岸地形不对称,地基岩性也软硬不均,工程地质条件极为复杂。大坝坝基存在的主要工程地质问题有坝基变形问题、抗滑稳定及渗漏问题等。工程开挖施工后,地质工程师对坝基基本地质条件进行了较详细的复核,并及时提出了适当的处理建议。

Mechanical stretch induces hypertrophic responses in cardiac myocytes of angiotensin II type 1a receptor knockout mice

Many lines of evidence have suggested that angiotensin II (AngII) plays an important role in the development of cardiac hypertrophy through AngII type 1 receptor (AT1). To determine whether AngII is indispensable for the development of mechanical stress-induced cardiac hypertrophy, we examined the activity of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) family and the expression of the c-fos gene as hypertrophic responses after stretching cultured cardiac myocytes of AT1a knockout (KO) mice. When cardiac myocytes were stretched by 20% for 10 min, extracellular signal-regulated protein kinases (ERKs) were strongly activated in KO cardiomyocytes as well as wild type (WT) myocytes. Both basal and stimulated levels of ERKs were higher in cardiomyocytes of KO mice than in those of WT mice. Activation of another member of the MAPK family, p38(MAPK), and expression of the c-fos gene were also induced by stretching cardiac myocytes of both types of mice. An AT1 antagonist attenuated stretch-induced activation of ERKs in WT cardiomyocytes but not in KO cardiomyocytes. Down-regulation of protein kinase C inhibited stretch-induced ERK activation in WT cardiomyocytes, whereas a broad spectrum tyrosine kinase inhibitor (genistein) and selective inhibitors of epidermal growth factor receptor (tyrphostin, AG1478, and B42) suppressed stretch-induced activation of ERKs in KO cardiac myocytes. Epidermal growth factor receptor was phosphorylated at tyrosine residues by stretching cardiac myocytes of KO mice. These results suggest that mechanical stretch could evoke hypertrophic responses in cardiac myocytes that lack the AT1 signaling pathway possibly through tyrosine kinase activation.

Methods for preventing and treating Ebola virus hemorrhagic fever are not still available despite the fact that this virus have been studied for 20 years. Methods of immunization of the animals (sheep, goats) non-susceptible to Ebola virus with live virus preparations were developed to obtain the hyperimmune anti-Ebola virus sera required to have highly immune antivirus gamma-globulins. These methods made it possible to obtain the immune sera having high virus-neutralizing antibodies. Caprine immunoglobulins were obtained from sera by fractionation of immune sera by Kohn's method. The neutralization indices of the immunoglobulins obtained were at least Ig. When administered in the first hours of infection, the protective effect of these preparations was shown on guinea pigs infected with LD50 of the strain pathogenic to the animals. Preclinical trials of these immunoglobulins on laboratory animals and clinical trials on volunteers were performed. The preparation was used as a preventive agent when accidents took place at the laboratory working with Ebola virus. The similar preparation from equine sera having high neutralizing and protective properties was elaborated at the Virological Center, Microbiological Institute, Russian Ministry of Defense. Its prophylactic efficiency was also shown in infected gamadrias.     

程控交换机收号系统模拟的研究

本文提出了一种模拟程控交换机收号系统的有效方法,采用消息驱动收号事件表的思想,运用并发控制技术,实现了在没有话路硬设备的条件下多用户同时拨号在线模拟收号控制的功能。本文提出的收号系统模拟方案已成功应用于某国产中大容量程控交换机的呼叫模拟系统中。     

A variational method for contour tracking via covariance matching

This paper presents a novel formulation for contour tracking.We model the second-order statistics of image regions and perform covariance matching under the variational level set framework.Specifically,covariance matrix is adopted as a visual object representation for partial differential equation(PDE) based contour tracking.Log-Euclidean calculus is used as a covariance distance metric instead of Euclidean distance which is unsuitable for measuring the similarities between covariance matrices,because the matrices typically lie on a non-Euclidean manifold.A novel image energy functional is formulated by minimizing the distance metric between the candidate object region and a given template,and maximizing the one between the background region and the template.The corresponding gradient flow is then derived according to a variational approach,enabling partial differential equations(PDEs) based contour tracking.Experiments on several challenging sequences prove the validity of the proposed method.
