Effect of chitosan feeding on intestinal bile acid metabolism in rats   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
The effect of chitosan feeding (for 21 days) on intestinal bile acids was studied in male rats. Serum cholesterol levels in rats fed a commercial diet low in cholesterol were decreased by chitosan supplementation. Chitosan inhibited the transformation of cholesterol to coprostanol without causing a qualitative change in fecal excretion of these neutral sterols. Increased fiber consumption did not increase fecal excretion of bile acids, but caused a marked change in fecal bile acid composition. Litcholic acid increased sigificantly, deoxycholic acid increased to a leasser extent, whereas hyodeoxycholic acid and the 6β-isomer and 5-epimeric 3α-hydroxy-6-keto-cholanoic acid(s) decreased. The pH in the cecum and colon became elevated by chitosan feeding which affected the conversion of primary bile acids to secondary bile acids in the large intestine. In the cecum, chitosan feeding increased the concentration of α-,β-, and ω-muricholic acids, and lithocholic acid. However, the levels of hyodeoxycholic acid and its 6β-isomer, of monohydroxy-monoketo-cholanoic acids, and of 3α, 6ξ, 7ξ-trihydroxy-cholanoic acid decreased. The data suggest that chitosan feeding affects the metabolism of intestinal bile acids in rats.  相似文献

Summary Mechanochemical block copolymerization in heterogeneous systems of the solid poly(vinyl chloride)-styrene-sodium dodecyl sulfate aqueous solutions has been studied by ultrasonic irradiation at 65 °C. The block copolymerization of styrene was initiated by free radicals produced from the poly(vinyl chloride) particles by ultrasonic waves. The initial rate of the block copolymerization Rp was given by Rp α [Styrene] [Sodium dodecyl sulfate]1/2. Both copolymer and homopolymer were obtained. For example, when 2.506 g of the poly(vinyl chloride) particles, 24.23 g of styrene, and 54.00 g of sodium dodecyl sulfate aqueous solution (0.500 wt%) were added in the reaction system, the weight proportions of the block copolymer and polystyrene after 60 min were approximately 50 and 20%.  相似文献

目的:探讨口服透明质酸(HA)对小鼠佐剂性关节炎(AA)的治疗作用。方法:将40只6周龄的雄性小鼠随机分成4个小组,正常组、模型组、HA组和双氯芬酸钠组。通过给模型组、HA组和双氯芬酸钠组小鼠右后足注射弗氏完全佐剂(FCA)建立佐剂性关节炎模型,经连续4周口服透明质酸进行治疗后,分别对小鼠的体质量、足跖厚度进行测量,观察小鼠膝关节肿胀程度并评分,同时采用酶联免疫吸附实验(ELISA)检测小鼠血清中白介素-1(IL-1)和HA的含量。结果:口服HA能显著降低小鼠足跖厚度和关节炎指数,同时血清中IL-1和HA含量亦显著降低;并且各项指标与双氯芬酸钠无显著性差异。结论:口服透明质酸能有效地缓解小鼠膝关节的肿胀,降低血清中IL-1的含量,增强活动能力,因而对小鼠佐剂性关节炎具有良好的治疗作用。  相似文献

对采用脂肪醇和二甲胺一步胺化制备(得率100%)相应的叔胺(烷基二甲基叔胺)的新型催化剂的最新进展进行了论述,对高活性Cu/Ni/Ca/Ba-St胶体催化剂(Cu0/Ni0/Ca0的比为5∶1∶1)和不含镍的Cu/La2O3进行了讨论。由此得出结论:要达到定量制备的关键因素是,通过结合还原钙或更活泼的促进剂,如Ce0和La0,尽可能地增加催化体系的氢解活性,由此形成金属氢化物,在铜/镍的作用下产生活性氢的“自供体系”。这一就地形成金属氢化物的基本功能将可极大地减少催化剂的用量,使铜质量分数减少到2×10-3%,从而极大地降低二甲胺的歧化,增加目的叔胺的选择性。总的来说,观察到在铜/镍固体催化剂以及胶体催化剂作用下,活性氢自供体系的基本功能使充入的大量氢一点都不被消耗掉。  相似文献

The effect of particle agglomeration on sintering has been studied by slipcasting suspensions with pH values ranging from 2 to 11. The rate of densification has been found to depend on the degree of agglomeration. Complete dispersion of alumina primary particles has not been attained through adjustment of pH of suspensions, and agglomerates also remained in the best-dispersed suspension. Elimination of the agglomerates by sedimentation lowered the densification temperature of slip-cast compacts. The grain size-density curve is a function of temperature. High-density and small-grained sintered bodies were obtained by low-temperature long-time firing.  相似文献

Microreactors as a novel concept in chemical technology enable the introduction of new reaction procedures in chemistry, pharmaceutical industry, and molecular biology. These miniaturized reaction systems offer many exceptional technical advantages for a large number of applications. One major application is in the bulk synthesis of nanoparticles. Despite the availability of a plethora of nanoparticle synthesis processes, there exist many difficulties in controlling the shape, size, and purity of nanoparticles in large quantities in a safe and cost-effective manner. These difficulties have been the principal factors adversely limiting the applications of ceramic nanoparticles. Recent experiments have shown that to study the process of growth and formation of nanoparticles, a reactor having much smaller dimensions, namely a microreactor is more appropriate. These studies have also shown that a microchannel reactor provides control over the mean residence time and hence over the nanoparticle size and shape. This paper deals with the design, fabrication, and testing issues related to a high temperature, ceramic microreactor by investigating the use of reactive gas streams in arrays of microchannel reactors. These innovations offer the potential to overcome the barriers associated with synthesis of ceramic nanoparticles in large quantities.  相似文献

A new emulsion-type paint was prepared by utilizing a nano-composite emulsion (NCE), which contained nano-size particles (ca. 60 nm in diameter) consisting of silica (inorganic core, ca. 30 nm in diameter) and polyacrylate (organic shell), and evaluated as wall paint. By applying NCE for the wall paint, about 35 wt.% of the organic content in the paint could be reduced in comparison with the commodity emulsion-type paint, which is highly effective to save the petroleum resources. The basic properties of the white NCE paint film on gloss, surface hardness, adhesion, and solvent resistance were evaluated and compared with those of acrylic emulsion-type paints as well as those of silica-containing paints which were prepared simply by blending the acrylic emulsion with silica sol. The NCE paint was especially excellent in solvent resistance. Then the practical tests were performed to evaluate its appropriateness as wall paint, which clarified the excellent antipollution property and the high flame resistance of the NCE paint.  相似文献

The phase behaviors for the blends of poly(3‐hydroxypropionate) (PHP), poly(L ‐lactide) (PLLA), poly(D ‐lactide) (PDLA), and poly(D,L ‐lactide) (PDLLA) with catechin were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry. In PLLA/catechin, PDLA/catechin, and PDLLA/catechin blends, two glass transitions were detected when the catechin content was ≥40 wt %, whereas in PHP/catechin blends only one glass transition was observed over the whole range of blend compositions. The former and the latter results should reflect the inhomogeneous and the homogeneous nature of the blends, respectively, in the amorphous phase. These different phase behaviors should arise from the differences in the chemical structures between PHP and PLLA/PDLA/PDLLA, which dominates the strength and the number of intermolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions between the ester carbonyl groups of polyesters and the phenol groups of catechin. As detected by FTIR spectroscopy, in comparison with PHP, the steric hindrance of side‐chain methyl groups of PLLA, PDLA, and PDLLA might restrain the formation of hydrogen bonds between their ester carbonyl groups and the phenol hydroxyl groups of catechin, even weakening the strength of such hydrogen bonds. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Improved synthesis and reinvestigation of the magnetic properties of triphenylamine bearing three nitronylnitroxide radicals (1) were carried out. Single crystal X-ray crystallographic analysis of 1 established that its molecular shape had a C3-symmetry. Our newly prepared 1 showed different physical properties from those of reported. SQUID measurements of 1 showed that each of the three spins of 1 behaved independently at room temperature. In contrast, the three spins coupled antiferromagnetically at lower temperature as low as ca. 1.8 K. These spin behaviors can be explained by a regular triangular antiferromagnetic model (J/kB = ?3.3 K) and interpreted as a spin frustration system.  相似文献
