The influence of applied magnetic field during annealing process as well as of Mg doping on the room-temperature magnetoelectric coupling effects in BaSrCo2-xMgxFe11AlO22 are experimentally studied through the magnetization, magnetodielectric, and magnetoelectric current measurements. Hexaferrite samples of Co2Y were found to be highly oriented by an applied magnetic field (Ho) during the annealing process, leading to an enhancement of the room-temperature magnetoelectric coupling effects. Although the substitution of nonmagnetic Mg ions in Co sites tends to reduce the ferromagnetism at macroscopic scale, a proper amount of Mg doping content facilitates the superexchange interaction between the adjacent magnetic blocks; meanwhile modulates the magnetic anisotropy in the samples. An appropriate adjustment of the competition between the anisotropy and the superexchange could enhance the magnetoelectric coupling at room temperature, which can be confirmed by the magnetic-field-induced dielectric constant and current density study.  相似文献

The transparent Er3+-Yb3+-doped fluoro-aluminosilicate glass-ceramic (GC) was prepared by melt-quenching. The crystal phase, morphology, and up-conversion (UC) luminescence of as-produced GC were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and fluorescence spectrophotometry, respectively. The results show that BaYF5 nanocrystals were uniformly distributed in the glass matrix of the as-produced GC. When the as-produced GC was subjected to heat treatment, the crystallinity was increased, but the crystal identity remains unchanged. Such heat-treatment doubled the intensity of the UC luminescence, and this enhancement was ascribed to the increased incorporation of both Er3+ and Yb3+ ions into the lower phonon energy environment of BaYF5 nanocrystals. Furthermore, the heat-treated GC was stable against further crystallization, and consequently its UC luminescence was stable at the application temperature. The heat-treated GC was found to possess an outstanding temperature-sensing capability.  相似文献

Although remarkable development of titanate-based glasses has been achieved, challenge remains to elucidate the correlation between structure and glass-forming properties in these systems due to their complex structure that is inconsistent with the classic Zachariasen's model. In this work, we aim to correlate the structural evolution of titanate melts to their glass-forming ability (GFA). The prototypical material barium dititanate (BaTi2O5, BT2) melts with different GFA were rendered by controlled melting atmospheres, and the corresponding structural changes were determined using in situ high-energy synchrotron X-ray diffraction combined with empirical potential structure refinement and ab initio molecular dynamics. The results show that BT2 melt in reducing atmosphere shows poor GFA but that in oxidizing atmosphere presents good GFA. Structural analysis demonstrates the mean coordination number of [TiOm] polyhedra is analogous in the melt under two different atmospheres but an enhanced heterogeneous cations aggregation takes place in the melt under reducing atmosphere, which is closely related to oxygen-deficiencies. Furthermore, we reveal that the enhanced heterogeneous cations aggregation promotes crystallization (and therefore hinders glass formation) through disordering the distribution of [TiOm] and [BaOn] polyhedra, changing the connectivity between these polyhedra, creating more crystal-like Ti-Ti clusters, and decreasing topological disorder of BT2 melt. Our work provides a new viewpoint to understand the GFA of titanates melt from structural heterogeneity beyond the previous perspectives that only focus on [TiOm] polyhedra.  相似文献

Latex polymers with precisely designed dynamic mechanical behavior are the key for waterborne damping coatings, which are widely desired in noise and vibration reduction with additional environmental benefits. In this work, we synthesized series of polymer latexes with various crosslinking agents (CA) and network distributions through the control on emulsion polymerization processes. We have revealed that the variation on crosslinking can significantly direct the latex behavior under dynamic conditions as well as its films. The variables involve the CA composition, the functionality, the crosslinking manner, the hydrophilic-hydrophobic feature as well as the feeding method. Although all the latex films showed the damping peaks locating in the range from −10 to 70°C, their damping behaviors were quite different. Suggested by the empirical parameters of LA and TA, the product from sequential monomer feeding method tended to give good extensional damping performance. Especially when the crosslinking of diacetone acrylamide (DAAM)/adipic dihydrazide was applied, there was a linear increase on LA with the increasing dosage of DAAM from 0 to 10 mmol in the final monomer addition batch. Meanwhile, good constrained layer damping is expected on the products from the power monomer feeding method with the maximum CA dosage shown below 7.5 mmol. The best TA was achieved when the CA of divinylbenzene was used in the dosage of 5 mmol. These results would be valuable to be referenced in the engineering on organic damping materials toward modern industrial and vehicles applications.  相似文献

A micromembrane adsorber with deep-permeation nanostructure (DPNS) has been successfully fabricated by flowing synthesis. The nanoparticles are in-situ assembled in membrane pores and immobilized in each membrane pore along the direction of membrane thickness. The nanoparticles with a lower size and thinner size distribution can be achieved owing to the confined space effect of the membrane pores. As a concept-of-proof, the nano ZIF-8 and ZIF-67 are fabricated in porous membrane pores for methyl orange (MO) and rhodamine B (RhB) adsorption. The adsorption rate is increased significantly owing to the enhanced contact and mass transfer in the confined space. The adsorption capacity for the RhB is also increased, since the size of the nanoparticles assembled in membrane pores is smaller with more active sites exposed. This micromembrane adsorber with DPNS has good reusability and can provide a promising prospect for industrial application.  相似文献
