For a given connected graph G of order n, a routing R in G is a set of n(n−1) elementary paths specified for every ordered pair of vertices in G. The vertex (resp. edge) forwarding index of G is the maximum number of paths in R passing through any vertex (resp. edge) in G. Choudum and Sunitha [S.A. Choudum, V. Sunitha, Augmented cubes, Networks 40 (2002) 71-84] proposed a variant of the hypercube Qn, called the augmented cube AQn and presented a minimal routing algorithm. This paper determines the vertex and the edge forwarding indices of AQn as and 2n−1, respectively, which shows that the above algorithm is optimal in view of maximizing the network capacity. 相似文献

Multiregression is one of the most common approaches used to discover dependency pattern among attributes in a database. Nonadditive set functions have been applied to deal with the interactive predictive attributes involved, and some nonlinear integrals with respect to nonadditive set functions are employed to establish a nonlinear multiregression model describing the relation between the objective attribute and predictive attributes. The values of the nonadditive set function play a role of unknown regression coefficients in the model and are determined by an adaptive genetic algorithm from the data of predictive and objective attributes. Furthermore, such a model is now improved by a new numericalization technique such that the model can accommodate both categorical and continuous numerical attributes. The traditional dummy binary method dealing with the mixed type data can be regarded as a very special case of our model when there is no interaction among the predictive attributes and the Choquet integral is used. When running the algorithm, to avoid a premature during the evolutionary procedure, a technique of maintaining diversity in the population is adopted. Surface tensions of the Sn–Ga–In ternary alloy are calculated from the surface tensions of the Sn–Ga, Ga–In and In–Sn sub-binary systems by using geometric models (the Kohler model and the Toop model), and a general solution model (the Chou model). The calculated results are in excellent agreement with the experimental data (except for the Kohler model), assuming an experimental accuracy of ±2.5%. At the same time, the surface tensions of the Sn–Ga–In ternary alloy at 773 K and their sub-binary systems are predicted on the basis of Butler’s equation, in combination with thermodynamic data, and different model parameters β equal to the ratio of the coordination number in the surface phase to that in the bulk phase. Different values of β have almost no influence on the surface tensions. The predicted results agree with the experimental data. Therefore, the resulting iso-surface tension curves for the Sn–Ga–In ternary alloy at 773 K, especially those calculated by using the Toop model, are reasonable. 相似文献

An interactive three-dimensional finite element generation method is presented for modelling a multi-connected teeth and mandible structure. The tetrahedron is chosen as the basic element type due to its rigorous adaptability to structures with geometric complexities. The mesh generation is implemented by allocating two quadrangles in adjacent CT image slices to form a set of tetrahedrons. By examining all the possible allocations and their degradations, an algorithm is developed for interactive mesh generation, resulting in a series of tetrahedrons consistent with all the others without overlapping and spacing. The developed system was applied to a tooth-mandibular structure, generating a complicated 3D FEM model consisting of 4762 nodes and 18,534 tetrahedral elements with nine different materials. This 3D model was successfully used to evaluate different tooth restoration strategies, which proved the viability and effectiveness of the proposed method. 相似文献
