A novel device concept was realized for simple single-layer small-molecule white organic light emitting devices. The single organic active layer here is simply comprised of a newly synthesized sky-blue fluorescent bipolar host (TPASO) and a common orange phosphorescent dopant. Suppressed singlet Föster energy transfer induced by a low-concentration doping and spontaneous high- to low-lying triplet energy transfer, respectively, lead to sky-blue fluorescence from TPASO and orange phosphorescence from the dopant. The resulting two-organic-component device exhibits a low turn-on voltage of 2.4 V, maximum current/power efficiencies up to 11.27 ± 0.02 cd A−1 and 14.15 ± 0.03 lm W−1, and a warm-white CIE coordinate of (0.42, 0.45) at 1000 cd m−2.  相似文献

Hard ferromagnetic (L10 phase) FePt alloy nanoparticles (NPs) with extremely high magnetocrystalline anisotropy are considered to be one of the most promising candidates for the next generation of ultrahigh‐density data storage system. The question of how to generate ordered patterns of L10‐FePt NPs and how to transform the technology for practical applications represents a key current challenge. Here the direct synthesis of L10 phase FePt NPs by pyrolysis of Fe‐containing and Pt‐containing metallopolymer blend without post‐annealing treatment is reported. Rapid single‐step fabrication of large‐area nanodot arrays (periodicity of 500 nm) of L10‐ordered FePt NPs can also be achieved by employing the metallopolymer blend, which possesses excellent solubility in most organic solvents and good solution processability, as the precursor through nanoimprint lithography (NIL). Magnetic force microscopy (MFM) imaging of the nanodot pattern indicates that the patterned L10 phase FePt NPs are capable of exhibiting decent magnetic response, which suggests a great potential to be utilized directly in the fabrication of bit patterned media (BPM) for the next generation of magnetic recording technology.  相似文献

Restoration of motor and sensory functions in paralyzed patients requires the development of tools for simultaneous recording and stimulation of neural activity in the spinal cord. In addition to its complex neurophysiology, the spinal cord presents technical challenges stemming from its flexible fibrous structure and repeated elastic deformation during normal motion. To address these engineering constraints, we developed highly flexible fiber probes, consisting entirely of polymers, for combined optical stimulation and recording of neural activity. The fabricated fiber probes exhibit low‐loss light transmission even under repeated extreme bending deformations. Using our fiber probes, we demonstrate simultaneous recording and optogenetic stimulation of neural activity in the spinal cord of transgenic mice expressing the light sensitive protein channelrhodopsin 2 (ChR2). Furthermore, optical stimulation of the spinal cord with the polymer fiber probes induces on‐demand limb movements that correlate with electromyographical (EMG) activity.  相似文献

Solution‐processed small‐molecule bulk heterojunction (BHJ) ambipolar organic thin‐film transistors are fabricated based on a combination of [2‐phenylbenzo[d,d']thieno[3,2‐b;4,5‐b']dithiophene (P‐BTDT) : 2‐(4‐n‐octylphenyl)benzo[d,d ']thieno[3,2‐b;4,5‐b']dithiophene (OP‐BTDT)] and C60. Treating high electrical performance vacuum‐deposited P‐BTDT organic semiconductors with a newly developed solution‐processed organic semiconductor material, OP‐BTDT, in an optimized ratio yields a solution‐processed p‐channel organic semiconductor blend with carrier mobility as high as 0.65 cm2 V?1 s?1. An optimized blending of P‐BTDT:OP‐BTDT with the n‐channel semiconductor, C60, results in a BHJ ambipolar transistor with balanced carrier mobilities for holes and electrons of 0.03 and 0.02 cm2 V?1 s?1, respectively. Furthermore, a complementary‐like inverter composed of two ambipolar thin‐film transistors is demonstrated, which achieves a gain of 115.  相似文献

The IEEE 802.11 DCF and EDCA mechanisms based on CSMA/CA are the most widely used random channel access mechanisms in wireless mesh networks (WMNs), but unfortunately these cannot effectively eliminate hidden terminal and exposed terminal problems in multi-hop scenarios. In this paper, we propose a set of efficient multi-radio multi-channel (MRMC) assignment, scheduling and routing protocols based on Latin squares for WMNs with MRMC communication capabilities, called “M4”, i.e., the Multiple access scheduling in Multi-radio Multi-channel Mesh networking. M4 uses nodal interference information to form cliques for inter-cluster and intra-cluster inWMNs, and then applies Latin squares to map the clique-based clustering structure to radios and channels for communication purposes. Then, M4 again applies Latin squares to schedule the channel access among nodes within each cluster in a collision-free manner. From a systematic view, we also design the corresponding MRMC routing to support M4 communication. Extensive simulation results show that M4 achieves much better performance than IEEE 802.11 standards and other channel access control protocols.  相似文献

Link‐16 is a tactical data link currently used by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries, the United States and its allies. The Link‐16 waveform features Reed–Solomon codes for channel coding, cyclic code‐shift keying for 32‐ary baseband symbol modulation, minimum‐shift keying for waveform modulation, and frequency hopping for transmission security. In addition to the original errors‐only decoding of Reed–Solomon codes, both an errors‐and‐erasures decoding (EED) and a special concatenated coding are proposed in this paper to determine a better channel coding scheme for a Link‐16 waveform with noncoherent detection in the presence of pulsed‐noise interference (PNI). The investigation is first carried out both analytically and by simulation for the original Link‐16 waveform transmitted over AWGN. It is then accomplished analytically for the proposed waveforms in both AWGN and PNI. The results show that EED achieves the best error rate performance for a Link‐16 waveform in both AWGN and PNI when the signal‐to‐noise ratio is relatively small. When both the signal‐to‐noise ratio is sufficiently large and the fraction active time of PNI is small, the proposed concatenated coding outperforms both EED and errors‐only decoding. In the recent years, cloud computing frameworks such as Amazon Web Services, Google AppEngine and Windows Azure have become increasingly popular among IT organizations and developers. Simultaneously, we have seen a phenomenal increase in the usage and deployment of smartphone platforms and applications worldwide. This paper discusses the current state of the art in the merger of these two popular technologies, that we refer to as Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC). We illustrate the applicability of MCC in various domains including mobile learning, commerce, health/wellness and social medias. We further identify research gaps covering critical aspects of how MCC can be realized and effectively utilized at scale. These include improved resource allocation in the MCC environment through efficient task distribution and offloading, security and privacy.  相似文献

A reconfigurable complex band-pass (CBP)/low-pass (LP) active-RC filter with a noise-shaping technique for wireless receivers is presented. Its bandwidth is reconfigurable among 500 kHz, 1 MHz and 4 MHz in LP mode and 1 MHz, 2 MHz and 8 MHz in CBP mode with 3 MHz center frequency. The Op-Amps used in the filter are realized in cell arrays in order to obtain scalable power consumption among the different operation modes. Furthermore, the filter can be configured into the 1st order, 2nd order or 3rd order mode, thus achieving a flexible filtering property. The noise-shaping technique is introduced to suppress the flicker noise contribution. The filter has been implemented in 180 nm CMOS and consumes less than 3 mA in the 3rd 8 MHz-bandwidth CBP mode. The spot noise at 100 Hz can be reduced by 14.4 dB at most with the introduced noise-shaping technique.  相似文献

Abstract: The pristine In2O3 nanotubes were synthesized by electrospinning and subsequent calcination. Scanning electron microscope, X-ray powder diffraction and transmission electron micrograph were employed to analyze the morphology and crystal structure of the as-synthesized nanotubes. Gas-sensing properties of the as-synthesized In203 nanotubes were investigated by exposing the corresponding sensors to toluene, acetone, ethanol, formalde- hyde, ammonia and carbon monoxide at 340 ℃. The results show that the gas sensor possesses a good selectivity to toluene at 340 ℃. The response of the In2O3 nanotube gas sensor to 40 ppm is about 5.88. The response and recovery times are about 3 s and 17 s, respectively.  相似文献
