In this paper, the bulge test is used to determine the mechanical properties of very thin dielectric membranes. Commonly, this experimental method permits to determine the residual stress (σ0) and biaxial Young’s modulus (E/(1 − υ)). Associating square and rectangular membranes with different length to width ratios, the Poisson’s ratio (υ) can also be determined. LPCVD Si3N4 monolayer and Si3N4/SiO2 bilayer membranes, with thicknesses down to 100 nm, have been characterized giving results in agreement with literature for Si3N4, E = 212 ± 14 GPa, σ0 = 420 ± 8 MPa and υ = 0.29.  相似文献

This study aimed to evaluate the vacuum impregnation (VI) and soaking methods in the addition of Lactobacillus acidophilusLA‐3 to minimally processed melon (MPM). The melons were washed, sanitised in chlorine solution (200 mg L?1), peeled and cutted into cubes. Lactobacillus acidophilusLA‐3 (1.4 × 1010 CFU g?1) were added to the MPM through both techniques. The L. acidophilusLA‐3 count in MPM was similar to those commonly found in dairy products having probiotic claim, but VI was more efficient than soaking in maintaining the viability (8.61 and 7.98 Log CFU g?1, respectively). The pH, acidity and soluble solids were not affected by probiotic culture and the incorporation technique; however, the VI affected the firmness of fruit. The MPM was within Brazilian standards for their microbiological characteristics. MPM may be used as a carrier of probiotic bacteria, being one more alternative for individuals who consume probiotic products.  相似文献

Designing coordinated robot behaviors in uncertain, dynamic, real-time, adversarial environments, such as in robot soccer, is very challenging. In this work we present a case-based reasoning approach for cooperative action selection, which relies on the storage, retrieval, and adaptation of example cases. We focus on cases of coordinated attacking passes between robots in the presence of the defending opponent robots. We present the case representation explicitly distinguishing between controllable and uncontrollable indexing features, corresponding to the positions of the team members and opponent robots, respectively. We use the symmetric properties of the domain to automatically augment the case library. We introduce a retrieval technique that weights the similarity of a situation in terms of the continuous ball positional features, the uncontrollable features, and the cost of moving the robots from the current situation to match the case controllable features. The case adaptation includes a best match between the positions of the robots in the past case and in the new situation. The robots are assigned an adapted position to which they move to maximize the match to the retrieved case. Case retrieval and reuse are achieved within the distributed team of robots through communication and sharing of own internal states and actions. We evaluate our approach, both in simulation and with real robots, in laboratory scenarios with two attacking robots versus two defending robots as well as versus a defender and a goalie. We show that we achieve the desired coordinated passing behavior, and also outperform a reactive action selection approach.  相似文献

New electrochemical results are found after the application of a constant cathodic polarization to the platinum/aqueous acid solution interface within the hydrogen evolution region. Voltammograms reveal highly stable anodic peaks emerging in the double-layer region assigned to the so-called “superactive” states. The severe cathodization produces the disruption of the platinum/aqueous solution interface leading to an open outer layer composed of metallic species highly coordinated to the solvent. These active sites are related with electrocatalytic features since the onset potential for water discharge is diminished. Voltammetry and modulated voltammetry explain the fact that platinum species highly coordinated to the solvent can be more oxidized since the reduction potential shifts toward more negative values. The alkalinization of the interface and the formation of new surface oxides in a different potential range are proposed. The latter produces electrocatalytic effects on methanol electrooxidation.  相似文献

The production of polyaniline films on aluminium alloy 6061-T6 in sulphuric acid was carried out by electrodeposition, using cyclic voltammetry and potentiostatic polarization. The films obtained were characterized by SEM and XPS analysis. Electrochemical techniques were also used to assess the anticorrosive properties of the coatings.The choice of the upper potential limits for potential cycling and of the fixed potential for potentiostatic production should take in consideration the balance between their effect on the minimum number of cycles (or time) needed to produce the film and on the rate of overoxidation.Polarization curves show a slight increase of the corrosion potential for polyaniline coated substrate as compared with bare metal, indicating that no significant protection is achieved by the polymer coating. The Bode diagrams show low impedance values for the alloy covered with polyaniline when compared with the results obtained for the bare metal. This can be attributed to the conductive character of the polyaniline films.  相似文献

Knowledge of the internal variables of a mill is of importance in design and performance optimization of the mill, notwithstanding the difficulty in measuring these variables within the harsh mill environment. To overcome this problem, the research has focused on measuring the internal parameters through non-invasive measurement methods such as the use of the vibration/acoustic signal obtained from the mill. Alternatively, virtual instruments, such as discrete element methods (DEM), are employed. Here, a methodology is developed to simulate on-the-shell acoustic signal emitted from tumbling mills using the information extracted from a DEM simulator. The transfer function which links the forces exerted on the internal surface of the mill and the acoustic signal measured on the outer surface is measured experimentally. Given this transfer function and the force distribution obtained from the DEM simulation, and assuming a linear time-invariant response, the on-the-shell acoustic of a laboratory scale ball mill has been simulated. Comparison of this simulated signal with the signal measured experimentally can be used as a criterion to judge the validity of the DEM simulations, and as a tool for enhancing our understanding of both DEM simulations and the use of acoustics within the context of mineral processing. The results derived from preliminary experiments on a laboratory scale mill shows satisfactory agreement between the actual measurement and the simulated acoustic signal.  相似文献

The goal is to evaluate the neutronic behavior when (Pu–U) and (Am–Pu–U) mixed oxide are inserted in a typical cell of a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) such as Angra-I. Four types of fuels were studied: (1) MOX fuel enriched at 3.1% and Vm/Vf = 1.15; (2) MOX fuel enriched at 4.5% and Vm/Vf = 1.15; (3) MOX fuel enriched at 4.5% and Vm/Vf = 2.0 and (4) MOX fuel enriched at 4.5%, with 1% of Americium insertion in its composition (62.8% of Am241, 0.1% of Am242m and 37.1% of Am243) and with Vm/Vf = 2.0. The first case represents the standard state of Angra I, but with Pu. The second case is similar to the first but the enrichment is increased. To evaluate the Americium insertion, a study of the Vm/Vf was made and better results were obtained with Vm/Vf = 2.0 and to compare, this case was too evaluated to (Pu–U) in the third and fourth cases. The idea is to verify the possibility of using these fuels in Angra-I analyzing neutronic parameters such as infinite multiplication factor, hardening spectrum, Boron worth and reactivity temperature coefficients. The results show that it is possible to use all the studied fuels in Angra-I as well as to burn Am inserted in the MOX fuel by a considerable quantity during PWR operation. The WIMS-D5 code was used to perform a simplified neutronic and burnup simulations to evaluate this possibility.  相似文献

Solution annealed and water quenched duplex and super duplex stainless steels are thermodynamically metastable systems at room temperature.These systems do not migrate spontaneously to a thermodynamically stable condition because an energy barrier separates the metastable and stable states. However, any heat input they receive, for example through isothermal treatment or through prolonged exposure to a voltaic arc in the welding process, cause them to reach a condition of stable equilibrium which, for super duplex stainless steels, means precipitation of intermetallic and carbide phases. These phases include the sigma phase, which is easily identified from its morphology, and its influence on the material's impact strength.The purpose of this work was to ascertain how 2-hour isothermal heat treatments at 920 °C and 980 °C affect the microstructure of ASTM A890/A890M GR 6A super duplex stainless steel. The sigma phase morphologies were found to be influenced by these two aging temperatures, with the material showing a predominantly lacy microstructure when heat treated at 920 °C and block-shaped when heat treated at 980 °C.  相似文献

The desorption isotherms and thermodynamic properties of cocoa beans were obtained during the drying process of this product. The isotherms were determined by dynamic method for various temperature (25, 35, 45 and 55 °C) and relative humidity (RH) conditions (30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80%). Equilibrium moisture content data were correlated by the Guggenheim–Anderson–de Boer (GAB) model, which presented good fit to the data, according to statistical procedures. Equilibrium moisture content ranged from 5.90 to 16.67 d.b.; it increased with an increment in the RH and decreased with increased temperature at a constant RH. Enthalpy values for each model coefficient were encountered, ranging from ?90.05 to 545.96 kJ kg?1. The integral isosteric heat of desorption and differential entropy increased with decreased equilibrium moisture content, a tendency also found for Gibbs free energy.  相似文献

Robotic soccer is nowadays a popular research domain in the area of multi-robot systems. In the context of RoboCup, the Middle Size League is one of the most challenging. This paper presents an efficient omnidirectional vision system for real-time object detection, developed for the robotic soccer team of the University of Aveiro, CAMBADA. The vision system is used to find the ball and white lines, which are used for self-localization, as well as to find the presence of obstacles. Algorithms for detecting these objects and also for calibrating most of the parameters of the vision system are presented in this paper. We also propose an efficient approach for detecting arbitrary FIFA balls, which is an important topic of research in the Middle Size League. The experimental results that we present show the effectiveness of our algorithms, both in terms of accuracy and processing time, as well as the results that the team has been achieving: 1st place in RoboCup 2008, 3rd place in 2009 and 1st place in the mandatory technical challenge in RoboCup 2009, where the robots have to play with an arbitrary standard FIFA ball.  相似文献
