OBJECTIVES: To point out the usefulness and effication of endovascular treatment of arteriovenous fistulae complicating the insertion of central venous catheter. MATERIAL AND METHOD: Retrospective study of 7 cases treated between 1983 and 1993. The central venous catheterization had involved the right internal jugular vein in 5 cases and the right subclavian vein in 2 cases. RESULTS: Isolated endovascular therapy was performed in 5 cases. Surgery was necessary in 1 case to remove an hematoma. In another case, occlusion of a large AVF was performed during intraoperative endovascular temporary occlusion of the AVF. The choice of the occluding agent was primarily dictated by the hemodynamic and anatomical conditions (releasable balloons, coils). Vertebro-vertebral fistulae (3 cases) could be treated with patency of this vessel. No complications were encountered. CONCLUSION: Endovascular approach is a reliable and safe method to perform occlusion of post catheter AVF.  相似文献

The applicability of heavy atom–induced room temperature phosphorescence (HAI-RTP) in real samples is demonstrated in this work. In this methodology only two reagents, potassium iodide as heavy atom salt and sodium sulfite as oxygen scavenger, were used to obtain the phosphorescent signal of carbazole in solution while anthracene did not show phosphorescence under these experimental conditions. In this study a new simple, rapid, and selective phosphorimetric method is proposed, using HAI-RTP methodology for the determination of carbazole in high-purity anthracene. The phosphorescence intensity was measured at 438 nm with excitation at 290 nm. Phosphorescence was fully developed instantly. A linear concentration range between 0 and 250 ng/mL?1 with a detection limit of 1.05 ng/mL?1 (10.5 ng of CBZ in 600 ng of anthracene), an analytical sensitivity of 1.7 ng/mL?1, and standard deviation of 0.71% at 150 ng/mL?1 concentration level was obtained. The method has been successfully applied to the analysis of carbazole in spiked anthracene samples.  相似文献

An all fibre, widely tunable, single frequency, semiconductor ring laser was constructed with a narrow linewidth of 35kHz. Tuning over 50nm was electronically obtained using a fibre Fabry Perot filter as a selected wavelength element. We propose an ICA-based method for blind detection of users in asynchronous DS-CDMA communications systems with multipaths channels with the only knowledge of the desired user?s code. The method can handle both the uplink and the downlink situations, since it does not require the synchronism between users. We convert the received cyclostationary signal into an observations vector that follows the ICA model with instantaneous mixture. The selection of the estimated source is carried out by means of the desired user?s code. Unlike previous works, we avoid to project the results after each iteration. Instead, we introduce a preprocessing based on a linear transformation of the data that enforces the extraction vector to lie in the desired user?s subspace. The detection is done in two stages. The second stage is a fine tuning in which the constraint is removed from the data in order to obtain more accurate results. Computer simulations show that the proposed method compares favorably with other well-known methods, in terms of mean-square error (MSE) of the output, symbol error rate and robustness against the near-far problem.  相似文献

The relations of parents' emotional expressivity, mothers' support, and children's daily stress to children's constructive coping were examined in a sample of ninety-four 7- to 12-year-old children. For 2 weeks, children, together with their mothers, completed daily diaries of their stressful events. Mothers and fathers reported on their expression of positive, negative submissive, and negative dominant emotion. Although fathers' expressivity was not related to children's constructive coping, mothers' expression of negative emotion, particularly negative dominant emotion, was negatively related to children's constructive coping. Children's stress was negatively related to their constructive coping, and this relation was stronger for children exposed to low levels of parents' positive emotion and mothers' expression of negative submissive emotion. This paper dedicated to the further development of the novel aqua-impregnated-resin (AIR) technique reports the results obtained by studying the column separation of equimolar mixtures of Cu(2+), Al(3+), and Zn(2+) on iminodiacetic (IDA) and polyacrylic (PAR) resins by using 0.2 M heptane solutions of either bis(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (DEHPA) or bis(2-ethyhexyl) dithiophosphoric acid (DEHDTPA) as selective eluents for extractive desorption of metal ions from the resin phase. The quantitative separation of Cu(2+)-Al(3+) mixtures has been achieved by sequential elution of metals from PAR with DEHDTPA and H(2)SO(4) solutions. Purification of Cu(2+) from Al(3+) and/or Zn(2+) and Al(3+) from Cu(2+) and Zn(2+) is achieved by extractive elution of metal mixtures from IDAR or PAR with DEHPA or DEHDTPA solutions, respectively, followed by stripping of the purified metals with 1.1 M H(2)SO(4). The resulting purity of metals obtained with the yield of >96% exceed 95%.  相似文献

Displacement fields around the fatigue crack tip for a constant value of stress intensity factor (SIF) range were measured using digital image correlation (DIC) technique on the S355 J2 steel grade. The data obtained were resolved into the T‐stress evaluation and quantification of its influence on the fatigue crack growth rate. The higher order terms of the Williams expansion (WE) were calculated as well. The displacements of a set of points outside of the plastic zone were selected for application of the over‐deterministic method (ODM) to obtain several initial WE terms. The computed values of T‐stress show good agreement with finite element analysis and literature. It was shown by collected experimental displacement, that the level of constraint influences the fatigue crack propagation rate.  相似文献
