In intermediate risk hormone receptor (HR) positive, HER2 negative breast cancer (BC), the decision regarding adjuvant chemotherapy might be facilitated by multigene expression tests. In all, 142 intermediate risk BCs were investigated using the PAM50-based multigene expression test Prosigna® in a prospective multicentric study. In 119/142 cases, Prosigna® molecular subtyping was compared with local and two central (C1 and C6) molecular-like subtypes relying on both immunohistochemistry (IHC; HRs, HER2, Ki-67) and IHC + tumor grade (IHC+G) subtyping. According to local IHC, 35.4% were Luminal A-like and 64.6% Luminal B-like subtypes (local IHC+G subtype: 31.9% Luminal A-like; 68.1% Luminal B-like). In contrast to local and C1 subtyping, C6 classified >2/3 of cases as Luminal A-like. Pairwise agreement between Prosigna® subtyping and molecular-like subtypes was fair to moderate depending on molecular-like subtyping method and center. The best agreement was observed between Prosigna® (53.8% Luminal A; 44.5% Luminal B) and C1 surrogate subtyping (Cohen’s kappa = 0.455). Adjuvant chemotherapy was suggested to 44.2% and 88.6% of Prosigna® Luminal A and Luminal B cases, respectively. Out of all Luminal A-like cases (locally IHC/IHC+G subtyping), adjuvant chemotherapy was recommended if Prosigna® testing classified as Prosigna® Luminal A at high / intermediate risk or upgraded to Prosigna® Luminal B. 相似文献
Different polyurethanes were synthesized by varying the diol as well as the diisocyanate components and chain extenders. Polyurethanes with OH-groups were obtained by photo- and thermoinitiation of the radical polymerization of hydroxy alkyl acrylates in the presence of the polyurethanes. The polymers were evaluated with respect to their biocompatibility by measuring the cell spreading, the rates of DNA- and protein synthesis and the swelling behaviour. The differences in the surfaces and the bulks between the selected basic polyurethane and the functionalized modification were determined and characterized by XPS, FTIR-ATR and 13C-FT-NMR-spectroscopy. Being the most proliferative journal of oncology a cancer research of the past decade, the Open Access journal Oncotarget had reached more than 20,000 publications and a relatively high impact factor score in the past years. In 2018, the journal citation report decided to withdraw the status of an impact factor journal. Since there was a large discussion in the scientific community and specific reasons for the withdrawal were not stated, this bibliometric analysis was performed to assess if Oncotarget exhibits any differences in its bibliometric structure compared to other journals. For this purpose, we used the “New Quality and Quantity Indices in Sciences” platform and analyzed 20,000 Oncotarget articles. Density equalizing mapping technique helps to construct maps of cancer research in Oncotarget and shows that it has led to a unique global landscape which is not asymmetrically dominated by the Western hemisphere but exhibits a publishing architecture with a pronounced emphasis on Chinese articles.
We report the synthesis, characterization and optical limiting behavior of a nanohybrid built by grafting C60-fullerenes on carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The nonlinear optical limiting properties of the CNT-C60 complex were investigated at wavelengths where C60 does not absorb. We found that the nanohybrid had superior performances to those of CNTs and fullerenes, either taken individually or as a mixture. This enhanced optical limitation of the nanohybrid suggests not only cooperative but also synergistic effects between the two carbon forms. A mechanism involving higher excitonic states of the CNTs formed by Auger recombination of low energy excitons is proposed. 相似文献
The first “modern” type of vehicular bridge was built in Hong Kong China in the 1920s. The need for an efficient transportation
system to cope with population growth and enable economic development has demanded the construction of more and more bridges
since the middle of the 20th century. By 2007, Hong Kong had a total of about 1300 vehicular bridges. Four of these bridges,
including the Tsing Ma Bridge, Kap Shui Mun Bridge, Ting Kau Bridge, and the cable-stayed bridge on the Hong Kong-Shenzhen
Western Corridor, are considered to be major bridges supported by cables. Currently, the Stonecutters Bridge on Route No.
8 is under construction and is expected to be completed in late 2009. At the same time, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge
will be in its detailed design stage soon. While efforts have been made by bridge builders to construct these giant structures,
the upkeeping of these valuable assets at a high standard and ensuring their continuous functioning and performance during
their intended lifespans will be another important task for bridge engineers. Wind and structural health monitoring system

GIS systems are frequently coupled with fuzzy logic systems implemented in statistical packages. For large GIS data sets including millions or tens of millions of cells, such an approach is relatively time-consuming. For very large data sets there is also an input/output bottleneck between the GIS and external software. A technique of analysis is described using a silver ion-loaded HPLC (Ag+/HPLC) column, gradient elution, and a laser light scattering detector followed by capillary gas chromatography (GC) for the determination of the fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) composition of rapeseed oil, the respective hydrogenated fat, some dietary fats, and human milk fat. With the use of Ag+/HPLC, FAMEs were separated into the following classes: saturated, trans-monounsaturated, cis-monounsaturated, trans–trans-di-unsaturated, trans–cis-di-unsaturated, cis–cis-di-unsaturated, and higher unsaturated FAMEs. Within each class, partial separation of positional isomers was also possible. Fractions of the eluate containing trans and cis C18:1 were separately collected and re-analyzed by GC in order to quantitate the positional isomers eight trans and nine cis in rapeseed oil and in human milk fat. The profiles of eight trans positional isomers in human milk fat and in hydrogenated rapeseed oil were alike but entirely different from that of six C18:1 trans isomers in bovine milk fat. Out of nine C18:1 cis isomers found in hydrogenated fat, only C18:1-9c and C18:1-11c were found in both human and bovine milk fat which may indicate some discrimination which occurs for certain isomers in fatty acid metabolism. 相似文献
A problem of a modelling of vibrations of thin plates with a functionally graded macrostructure and a tolerance-periodic microstructure in planes parallel to the plate midplane is analysed. The proposed model, based on the Kirchhoff plate theory assumptions and additional hypothesis of the tolerance averaging technique [Wo?niak et al., editors. Thermomechanics of heterogeneous solids and structures. Tolerance averaging approach. ?ód?, University Press, Technical University of ?ód?; 2008], describes the effect of the microstructure size on dynamic behaviour of the plate. In this paper, as an example there are analysed free vibration frequencies of a functionally graded plate band.
