A stationary temperature state of a polar polymer dielectric exposed to an electric field is studied. A special feature of the dielectrics of this type is the presence of a maximum in the loss factor ε″(T) above the glass transition temperature. Using an approach based on the Kirkwood formula for ε″(T), exact solutions to a nonlinear model problem are obtained. These solutions show the multiplicity of the stationary temperature states and the surface of these states in the “load-ambient temperature” space of parameters exhibits a topological singularity of the “fold” type.  相似文献

Electroluminescence (EL) of erbium-and oxygen-doped Si:(Er,O) diodes at λ=1.00–1.65 μm has been studied in the p-n junction breakdown and forward current modes. The EL was measured at room temperature from the front and back surfaces of the diodes. A peak corresponding to the absorption band edge of silicon was observed in the EL spectra of some diodes in the p-n junction breakdown mode. The peak is associated with the injection of minority carriers from the metal contact into silicon, with subsequent band-to-band radiative recombination. The band-to-band recombination intensity increases sharply on reaching a certain current density that depends on the fabrication technology. The problem regarding the preparation of semiconductor materials with photoinduced ferromagnetism has been analyzed. One of the possible solutions to this problem has been proposed. For this purpose, finely dispersed crystals of the CuCr2Se4 ferromagnetic spinel in the chalcogenide semiconductor glass matrix have been synthesized and the physicochemical properties of the prepared nanocomposite materials have been investigated. The effect of the photoinduced increase in the magnetization stabilized by a magnetic field has been revealed.  相似文献

Expressions for the frequency-dependent coupling coefficients of codirectional resonators used in a miniature design of a stripline filter on a suspended substrate are derived. The obtained expressions fully reflect the specific features of the frequency response of the analyzed structure. It is shown that the numerical analysis of a 1D model of this device performed in the quasi-static approximation provides sufficiently good agreement with experimental results. The influence of the design parameters of the analyzed structure on the frequency-selective properties of band-pass filters designed on the basis of this structure is theoretically investigated, and the capabilities for a substantial improvement of the selectivity of such devices are demonstrated.  相似文献

In the series of the layered highT c superconductors (A)1,2 B2Ca n−1Cu n O2n+3,4 (A=Tl or Bi;B=Ba or Sr), withn=number of consecutive Cu-O layers, the electron energy states of some of the Tl-based systems have been investigated. The electron and phonon dispersion curves have been obtained. The electronic states near the Fermi level are dominated by the hybridized Cu(d) and the O(p) orbitals. The dispersion curves are highly two-dimensional with very small dispersion alongc-axis. The number of bands is enhanced with increase in the number of the consecutive Cu-O planes (n). The present results agree with those obtained earlier for other superconducting phases. The phonons are overall dominated by the vibrations of the light mass oxygen atom modes both lying in or outside the Cu-O planes. The low-frequency phonons involve the motions of the heavier Tl, Ba atoms etc.  相似文献

Glycolysis of waste polyethylene terephthalate (PET) flakes obtained from grinding postconsumer bottles was carried out at 225–250°C and molar ratios of PET/ethylene glycol were taken as 1/1, 1/1.5, 1/5, and 1/10. Reaction product was extracted by hot water for three times and water‐soluble crystallizable fraction and water‐insoluble fraction were obtained. These fractions were characterized by acid and hydroxyl value determinations, differential scanning calorimeter analysis, and 1H‐NMR analysis. Glycolysis product was used for synthesis of PET‐based epoxy resin. This epoxy resin was used to prepare epoxy ester resins having 40% and 50% oil content. Epoxy ester resin having 40% oil content was modified with urea‐formaldehyde and melamine‐formaldehyde resins for synthesis of epoxy ester–amino resin. Physical and chemical film properties of epoxy ester and modified epoxy ester resins were investigated. All the epoxy ester and modified epoxy ester films were having excellent adhesion, water, and salt water resistance properties. Modification of PET‐based epoxy ester resins with amino resin has significantly improved hardness, impact resistance, and alkaline and acid resistance of resin films. As a result, PET oligomers obtained from glycolysis of postconsumer PET bottles are suitable for manufacturing of amino‐resin‐modified epoxy ester resins that have improved physical and chemical surface coating properties. Novel, polymeric UV‐to‐visible converters were prepared by doping elastomeric poly(ether‐urethaneurea) copolymers with 5–25% by weight of ErCl3 6H2O, corresponding to Er3+ concentrations of 2.19 to 10.86% by weight. When excited in the UV at 355 nm, the doped films generated a very broad, continuous visible luminescence between 400 and 750 nm. Preparation and spectroscopic characterization of the samples are discussed in detail. The color coordinates, color temperature, color rendering index of the samples, and the degree of overlap of their emission bands with the spectral response of the eye were determined. The color rendering index of samples is in the 57–70 range. The sample containing 2.19% by weight of Er3+ was found to give the color coordinates closest to the white‐source region and the highest color rendering index. The color temperatures of the samples were in the 5093–5540 K range. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) was successfully produced by using recycled eggshell. The observed phases of the synthesised materials were dependent on the mechanochemical activation method (ball milling and attrition milling). The structures of the HAp were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy. Attrition milling proved to be more efficient than ball milling, as resulted nanosize, homogenous HAp even after milling.  相似文献

Osteosclerosis due to endemic fluorosis   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Endemic water borne fluorosis is a public health problem in Isparta, a city located in southern Turkey. In order to investigate the association between osteosclerosis and fluorosis, we retrospectively screened the results of lumbar spine and femur neck bone mineral density (BMD) of 1500 patients who were examined before, for any reason in between 2001-2003. Sixty nine patients (67 females and 2 males, mean age 52.6+/-10.2) with vertebra T-scores>or=+2 were found only except a patient with osteoid osteoma in the femur neck (femur T-score+6.64). Thirty-four of the patients could be reexamined with lateral vertebra BMD and investigated for fluorosis and the other etiologic causes of osteosclerosis. Of 34 patients, 14 had either mottled tooth enamel or urine fluoride level greater than 1.5 mg/l. Other etiologic causes were hypothyroidism (2), hypoparathyroidism (1), history of lumbar fracture (1), use of retinoids (1), vitamin D (7), oral calcium preparations (9), and bisphosphanates (3). Lateral lumbar vertebral T-score was greater than+2 in 12 patients (35.3%). Femur T-score was greater than+2 in 7 patients (20.6%). Fourteen patients (41.2%) had lateral vertebral or femur T-score>or=+2. Five (35.7%) of these patients had signs of fluorosis, as discussed before. Mean body mass index of individuals with fluorosis was 36.4+/-7.9 and this result was significantly higher than other osteosclerotic subjects (31.6+/-4.4). In conclusion we believe that approximately one third of the osteosclerosis in our region was due to endemic skeletal fluorosis and obesity may enhance this osteosclerotic type bone changes in endemic fluorosis.  相似文献
