It has been shown that the flow of mobile minority carriers along the semiconductor-wide-gap layer interface substantially influences the uniformity of the multiplication coefficient in an avalanche photodetector. Around inhomogeneities in the semiconductor substrate, a “dead zone” of fairly large area is formed, where the multiplication coefficient is several orders of magnitude lower than that on the remaining area of the device. The drying process under conditions of filtration of a drying agent through a porous structure of a moist article is considered. The existence of three dehydration stages is established: 1) mechanical displacement of water; 2) elimination of moisture in the form of a gas-liquid emulsion; 3) drying. A kinetics equation is derived for each stage. Combination of all the three stages provides a high rate of the total process exceeding the drying rate by tens of times when flowing around an object as a unit.L'vov Polytechnic Institute. The protective and insulating properties of fluoroplastic and epoxy coatings applied by high-voltage electrostatic spraying were studied. The epoxy coatings were found to be less permeable than the fluoroplastic ones, yet they cannot be used to protect metal parts in corrosive environment because of their low chemical resistance.  相似文献

本文给出了Ti~(3+):Al_2O_3的准连续可调谐激光的实验结果。采用Nd:YAG内腔倍频532nm的准连续输出作为泵浦源,得到Ti~(3+):Al_2O_3的连续可调谐输出。波长覆盖范围为685nm到821nm。最大输出功率为293mW,斜率效率为20%,在805nm处的窄谱输出功率达240mW,总体转换效举为26%。  相似文献

We study the resistance of stainless steels with different contents of nitrogen after plasma-arc remelting to hydrogen degradation. The dependence of the mechanical properties of steels on the content of nitrogen is quite complicated, which is explained by changes in the phase composition. In the analyzed collection of steels (Kh18AN9, Kh20AN15, Kh18AG10, and Kh18AG15), Kh18AG15 steel has the best combination of the characteristics of strength and plasticity in hydrogen.  相似文献

Conclusion In 1971 there was developed in collaboration with G. S. Pisarenko a model [19] of fracture of materials representing this process as a successive series of acts of origin of a microcrack at the tip of the main crack and their subsequent merging. In [20] the proposal was made for determination of the ductile-to-brittle transition temperature as the temperature corresponding to the appearance at the crack tip at the moment of fracture of a plastic zone of maximum size in which plane strain conditions are still satisfied. In it on the basis of the earlier proposed model there was obtained a determining relationship relating the transition temperature to the basic parameters influencing it, specimen dimensions, loading rate, and structure of the material. As the result of fruitful collaboration with Professor D. Francois and the presentation by him of broad experimental data on the scale effect in the ductile brittle transition in various steels it was possible to experimentally base the relationships obtained and to propose certain relationships useful for practical purposes [7]. Since [7] is not yet known to Soviet readers, it was appropriate to first give it a brief presentation and then to develop some of its proposals to other cases not touched upon in this work.Institute of Strength Problems, Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, Kiev.
