This work provides a design methodology for a typical energetic system to get Type V insensitive munition (IM) response against fast cook‐off threat. Experimental and numerical results for a generic test item filled with PBXN‐109 explosive are presented. Two key aspects of IM design against fast cook‐off threat are investigated, which are “time‐to‐reaction” and “critical ventilation area”. By dividing the problem to pre‐ignition and post‐ignition, the complexity of the problem is reduced. The first part of the study covers two‐dimensional and three‐dimensional simulations of the problem, where the generic test item is modelled using commercial CFD software (ANSYS – Fluent). The second part of the study reveals low pressure (2–10 MPa) burning characteristics of a PBXN‐109 by strand burner tests. After obtaining the pressure dependent burning rate, a conservation of mass equation is used to determine the chamber pressure using MATLAB Simulink software. Calculations are in reasonable agreement with the experimental results. Calculations are compared with the tests performed. The results are in reasonable agreement with some discrepancies of 8.9 % for time to reaction prediction and of 10.9 % for ventilation characteristics analyses. In this paper, a simple method to obtain the equivalent radiation emitting sources of an electronic circuit using the near-field scanning method is presented. The model is based on a set of elemental dipoles that substitutes the electronic circuit and radiates the same magnetic field. Two different approaches are presented: a set of electric dipoles and a set of magnetic dipoles. In order to build the model, both the magnitude and phase of the magnetic field are required. These measurements are carried out using the "near-field scanning method," and two procedures are presented: using the vector network analyzer and the spectrum analyzer. Finally, the model is applied to two different cases: to obtain the radiated near-field of a component (microcontroller) and to obtain the field of a complete electronic board. 相似文献

A completely automatic near-field mapping system has been developed within the Research Institute for Electronic Embedded Systems (IRSEEM) in order to determine the electromagnetic field created by electronic systems and components. This test bench uses a 3-D positioning system of the probe to make accurate measurements. This paper presents some applications of the near-field techniques in EMC investigations. In the first part, near-field measurements are used to locate precisely the electromagnetic sources of a limiter device. In the second part, we present an equivalent model of the radiated emission of an integrated circuit. In the last part, the near-field test bench is used to characterize faults in a cable. 相似文献

Using computer image analysis we studied the development of dense cellular and dense lymphoid areas ("milky spots") and of pendant lymphatic nodules in mouse omenta after intraperitoneal immunization with sheep red blood cells. In both euthymic (BALB/c and hairless BFU) and athymic hairless nu/nu BALB/c mice the proportion of newly developing activated omental areas (AOA) was biphasic, with distinct peaks on days 3-4 and 8-12 after immunization, and a trough on days 5 and 14. There was a small difference between athymic and euthymic BALB/c mice. In comparison with the nu/nu BALB/c mouse, the BFU mutant had a lower proportion of AOA on days 4 and 10. The athymic state is not thought to have a great influence on the AOA development; this depends on a basic macrophage defence, which is well developed in the athymic model, and is self-regulated and shaped by a sequence of cell immigration, settling, differentiation and emigration. 相似文献

The aim of this study is to identify the crucial logistics requirements and supply chain management (SCM) strategies for the dairy industry. For product or service development, quality function deployment (QFD) is a useful approach to maximize customer satisfaction. The determination of design requirements and supply chain management strategies are important issues during QFD processes for product or service design. For this reason, a fuzzy QFD methodology is proposed in this study to determine these aspects and to improve customer satisfaction. Qualitative information is converted firstly into quantitative parameters, and then this data is combined with other quantitative data to parameterize two multi-objective mathematical programming models. In the first model, the most important logistic requirements for the company are determined based on total technical importance, total cost, total feasibility and total value increment objectives, and in the second model, based on these objectives, appropriate supply chain management strategies are determined.
