The present study aims to investigate Marangoni‐forced convective nanofluid flow over an electromagnetic actuator (Riga plate). A first‐order homogeneous chemical reaction is considered. The thermocapillary and solutocapillary Marangoni effect developed by the surface tension is considered as a driving force for the nanofluid. In addition, Grinberg‐term is accounted to involve the impact of Lorentz force impinged by the actuator in the model. A set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is obtained via suitable transformations for a nonsimilar analysis. Series solutions are achieved through homotopy to discuss the behavior of the velocity field, thermal distribution, and concentration of the nanoparticles graphically. The variation in Nusselt and Sherwood numbers is discussed. The outcomes declared that the flow parallel to the surface of the plate is assisted by the Lorentz forces generated by electromagnetic bars of the actuator resulting in an enhancement in the fluid motion. Furthermore, the stronger Marangoni effect resulted in the declining trend of the temperature profile. The concentration of nanoparticles near the surface reduced intensive chemical reaction inside the nanofluid.  相似文献

Based on inorganic fuel, an Ammonia-Oxidation Microbial Fuel Cell (AO-MFC) had been developed, and the influence and mechanism of dissolved oxygen (DO) on the performance of nitrification and electricity generation were investigated. The results showed that the maximum conversion percentage of ammonium–nitrogen (NH4+–N) was 99.7%. The output voltage and the power density were 98.5 ± 1.41 mV and 9.70 ± 0.27 mW m−2 in the stable phase of electricity generation. In the AO-MFC, the electrons originated from ammonia and flowed to ammonia monooxygenase (AMO, which catalyzes the conversion of ammonia to hydroxylamine), Cyt aa3 oxidase (which catalyzes the reduction of oxygen) and electrode, which were used for triggering ammonia oxidation, synthesizing ATP and generating electricity. Molecular oxygen played a key role in the electron distribution among these three acceptors. DO concentration too high (>6.45 mg L−1) or too low (<0.5 mg L−1) could exert a great negative influence on the performance of electricity generation.  相似文献

In machine learning, sentiment analysis is a technique to find and analyze the sentiments hidden in the text. For sentiment analysis, annotated data is a basic requirement. Generally, this data is manually annotated. Manual annotation is time consuming, costly and laborious process. To overcome these resource constraints this research has proposed a fully automated annotation technique for aspect level sentiment analysis. Dataset is created from the reviews of ten most popular songs on YouTube. Reviews of five aspects—voice, video, music, lyrics and song, are extracted. An N-Gram based technique is proposed. Complete dataset consists of 369436 reviews that took 173.53 s to annotate using the proposed technique while this dataset might have taken approximately 2.07 million seconds (575 h) if it was annotated manually. For the validation of the proposed technique, a sub-dataset—Voice, is annotated manually as well as with the proposed technique. Cohen's Kappa statistics is used to evaluate the degree of agreement between the two annotations. The high Kappa value (i.e., 0.9571%) shows the high level of agreement between the two. This validates that the quality of annotation of the proposed technique is as good as manual annotation even with far less computational cost. This research also contributes in consolidating the guidelines for the manual annotation process.  相似文献

We have investigated the adsorption and reaction of methanol with Au/TiO2 catalysts using a pulsed flow reactor, DRIFTS and TPD. The TiO2 (P25) surface adsorbed a full monolayer of methanol, much of it in a dissociative manner, forming methoxy groups associated with the cationic sites, and hydroxyl groups at the anions. The methoxy is relatively stable until 250 °C, at which point decomposition occurs, producing mainly dimethyl ether by a bimolecular surface reaction. As the concentration of methoxy on the surface diminishes, so the mechanism reverts to a de-oxygenation pathway, producing mainly methane and water (at ~330 °C in TPD), but also with some coincident CO and hydrogen. Au catalysts were prepared by the deposition-precipitation method to give Au loadings between 0.5–3 wt %. The effect of low levels of Au on the reactivity is marked. The pathway which gives methane, which is characteristic of titania, remains, but a new feature of the reaction is the evolution of CO2 and H2 at lower temperature (a peak is seen in TPD at 220 °C), and the elimination of the DME-producing state. Clearly this is associated with the presence of Au and appears to be due to the production of a formate species on the surface of the Au component. This formate species is mainly involved in the reaction of methanol with the Au/TiO2 catalysts which results in a combustion pathway being followed, with complete conversion occurring by ~130 °C.  相似文献

In today’s fast-paced world, computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems have become a necessary element in manufacturing industries. Prior to investment in a CAD/CAM system, it is essential for investor to know how to maximize their benefits from buying a new or by changing an existing CAD/CAM system. The purpose of this study is to provide a methodology to assist small- and medium-sized manufacturing companies of Pakistan in selecting a CAD/CAM system. It will also facilitate the software providers in recognizing the current state of affairs as well as preceding problems regarding the application of CAD/CAM in manufacturing firms when assisting them in choosing the direction for future development simultaneously. To accomplish this purpose, data have been collected about current CAD/CAM systems. Important criteria for system selection and parameters for evaluation have also been identified and prioritized. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used as a decision-making technique for identifying and prioritizing important factors for CAD/CAM software selection. The present study was conducted on characterization of morpho‐anatomical, phytochemical, and bio‐elemental analysis of root, stem, and leaf of Verbascum thapsus. Morphologically Verbascum is a biennial plant that flowers for a month and a half in mid‐ to late summer. Various organoleptic features of root, leaf, and stem were recorded. Anatomically the T. S of the root, stem, and leaf showed a typical dicot histological differentiation. Leaf possessed anomocytic stomata, crescent shape vascular bundles, and covered with long and stellate type trichomes while, stem contained collateral type of vascular bundles and a well‐developed pith to store phytochemicals responsible for various pharmacological activities. The powder drug study through scanning electron microscopy revealed the presence of various types of tissues. Branched, tree like and stellate trichomes in root and leaf help in absorption and reduce loss of water. These anatomical features are responsible for the survival of the plant as biennial. Four macro elements (Na, K, Ca, and Mg) and seven microelements (Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Zn, and Cd) and their concentrations in ppm were also studied using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. Phytochemical screening of methanolic extract showed existence of various secondary metabolites, while mucilage and anthraquinones was not detected. The present study helps to understand the taxonomic identification of the plant based on morpho‐anatomical features and throws the attention of the researchers to carry out the work for developing its various formulations, which can ultimately be beneficial for the human beings as well as animals.  相似文献
