Alumina-based macro-porous ceramic foams were successfully coated with MCM-41 meso-porous materials using an in-situ one step hydrothermal synthesis. Low H2O/NaOH ratio in the starting mixture leads to a not uniform deposition of the meso-porous materials. Using higher H2O/NaOH ratio and two cycles of deposition, a CF with a continuous and thick layer of well-ordered MCM-41 material coating was produced.  相似文献

Isolated kidney preparations (IPK) from male Sprague Dawley rats perfused at constant pressure were used to evaluate the effect of angiotensin II (AII) and platelet-activating factor (PAF) on renal function and urinary protein excretion. Compared with basal, intrarenal infusion of AII at 8 ng/min caused a progressive increase in protein excretion (11 +/- 6 versus 73 +/- 21 micrograms/min) in parallel with a decline in renal perfusate flow (RPF) (29 +/- 3 versus 18 +/- 3 ml/min). Addition to the perfusate of PAF at 50 nM final concentration also induced proteinuria (9 +/- 4 versus 55 +/- 14 micrograms/min) but did not change RPF (29 +/- 3 versus 30 +/- 3 ml/min). Preexposure of isolated kidneys to the PAF receptor antagonist WEB 2086 prevented the increase in urinary protein excretion induced by AII infusion (basal: 13 +/- 6; post-AII: 12 +/- 7 micrograms/min) but failed to prevent the vasoactive effect of AII (RPF, basal: 30 +/- 2; post-AII: 21 +/- 3 ml/min). In additional experiments, dexamethasone reduced the proteinuric effect of PAF remarkably. These results indicate that in isolated kidney preparation: (1) AII infusion induced proteinuria and decreased RPF; and (2) the effect of AII in enhancing urinary protein excretion was completely prevented by a specific PAF receptor antagonist, which, however, did not influence the AII-induced fall in RPF. It is suggested that PAF plays a major role in AII-induced changes in the permselective function of the glomerular capillary barrier.  相似文献

We present data of multiharmonic magneto-dynamic experiments. In particular, we performed ac magnetic susceptibility experiments on layered pnictide-oxide quaternary compound NdOFeAs doped with fluorine. The experiments allow one to measure the critical temperature and probe the flux dynamic behavior using the third harmonic component of the ac susceptibility of an NdF0.16FeAsO0.84 bulk sample as a function of temperature and frequency of the applied ac magnetic fields. Measured signals are connected with the nonlinear superconducting flux dynamic behavior and are characterized by a “flux critical states” sustaining a superconducting critical current. In this framework the irreversibility line that describes the stable superconducting state has been extracted from the onset of the third harmonic signal vs. frequency. Finally we present also the analysis of the flux dynamic dimensionality in the investigated sample.  相似文献

Fully validated material databases are needed for coherent technological developments in any R&D field. For nuclear fusion technology (NFT), within a near-term perspective of qualification and licensing of nuclear components and systems, this goal is both compulsory and urgent. This mandatory requirement applies for the particular case of the Pb-Li eutectic database as fusion reactor material. Pb16Li is today a reference breeder material in diverse fusion R&D programs worldwide. Technical consensus on most part of the material database inputs seems a major technological objective. In this work Pb16Li material database inputs for NFT have been systematically reviewed. Database inputs (bulk, thermal, physical-chemistry properties, and H-isotopes transport) are discussed and extended to base magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) properties, values for non-dimensional parameters and pipe/channel correlations in 2-phases dispersion models. Ongoing efforts to develop the Pb16Li material database as a computing expert system are reported.  相似文献

In this paper we analyse the behaviour of thin-walled steel members with an I-shaped cross-section, in the presence of phenomena of coupled instability as overall-local type and combined state of stress of bending moment, axial and shear force. The analysis has been made by the ‘column model method’ and it has been used for bending moment-curvature-axial force diagrams, modified by the presence of local instability for web buckling of steel beams.

The previous analysis allows one to define interaction diagrams MImax−λ−N, which can be used to check the steel members in relation to the overall slenderness and the local slenderness of the web panel.  相似文献

Multiharmonic ac-magnetic susceptibility χ1, χ2, χ3, of neutron irradiated Li-doped YBa2Cu3O7− x has revealed a nonmonotonic dependence of all harmonics on the neutron fluence. The irradiation has a strongly depressive influence on the intergrain connection suggesting an increase of the effective thickness of the intergranular Josephson junction at a neutron fluence of 0.98 × 1017 cm−2. Less damaged are the intragrain properties. A spectacular enhancement of the superconducting intragranular properties reflected in the characteristics of all harmonics was observed at highest fluence Φ = 9.98 × 1017 cm−2. We assume that this effect results from the development of a space inhomogeneous distribution with alternating defectless and defect-rich regions.  相似文献

The examination of microscopic dental wear allows inferences to be made about diet in extinct species. This study reconstructs the diet of Griphopithecus alpani, a 15 Ma fossil hominoid from the Miocene site of Pa?alar in north-western Turkey, using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to examine the microscopic wear on its molar teeth. The microwear patterns of Griphopithecus are compared with those of three extant hominoid taxa-Gorilla gorilla gorilla, Pan troglodytes verus, and Pongo pygmaeus pygmaeus. The microwear on three occlusal wear surfaces is examined in this study, and sex and age differences are also included. Analysis of variance is performed on the following microwear variables-feature density, pit density, striation density, the ratio of pits relative to striations, pit widths, and striation widths. Griphopithecus has significantly higher microwear feature densities and higher percentages of pits than Gorilla. It also has larger pit frequencies and narrower striations than both Pan and Gorilla. There are no significant differences between the microwear patterns of Griphopithecus and Pongo. This suggests that the diet of Gripho-pithecus was more similar to that of Pongo, which consumes mainly fruit, and occasionally hard and unripe fruits and nuts, than to that of Pan and Gorilla. In addition, the high percentage of pits displayed by Griphopithecus may indicate that it was ingesting harder fruits and/or objects than the extant hominoids, although this is not a significant difference. There also are consistent variations in the microwear present on the three different wear facets examined in the study-Phase II facets display more microwear and pitting than the Phase I surface examined. The results of this study do not indicate variation in dental microwear according to sex or age.  相似文献

A luminescent zinc complex was successfully incorporated to mesostructured porous titania films through a grafting process. The resulting films show an intense blue-emission increasing with functionalization time. The emission quantum yield of these newly synthesized films was quantitatively and accurately determined by measurements carried by an integrating sphere.  相似文献

Water effects on the bond strength of concrete/concrete adhesive joints   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The paper discusses the experimental work by the authors investigating bond strength of epoxy adhesives and their efficiency when joining to concrete elements; the epoxies studied were those currently used in the construction industry. Flexural tests were undertaken to determine the mechanical properties of the exposed and the control specimens of three different epoxy adhesives. In addition, the water resistance of concrete/concrete epoxy joints was investigated by comparing bond strength with those of control samples; the maximum period of immersion was one month. A reduction in the glass transition temperature and the stiffness at short immersion time was found for all the adhesives employed, with a subsequent slight increase for prolonged immersion, while the effects on the strengths resulted almost proportional to their initial values. The effect of water on the adhesion of the joints was found to be significant, especially at longer immersion times; the bond strength of concrete–adhesive specimens reduced by 30% after one month of immersion in water.  相似文献
