Virgin olive oils (VOOs) obtained from olives grown in different regions of Turkey under changing climatic conditions sometimes show different sensory and chemical properties. This study was planned to determine whether these deviations are due to climatic changes or not. For this purpose, five different olive varieties (Ayvalık, Memecik, Gemlik, Nizip Yağlık, Kilis Yağlık) of commercial importance were harvested from the provinces/districts (four different region) where cultivation is intense during the 2017/2018–2020/2021 harvest years. Every year, olive samples were collected from 3 orchards from 13 provinces/districts. One hundred and fifty-six samples were subjected to the purity, quality and sensory analysis. Basic climatic values (average, minimum and maximum temperature, humidity and precipitation) were examined for four consecutive years. All of the examined olive oil samples were determined within the legal limits in terms of fatty acid composition and fatty acid ethyl ester values. However, delta-7-stigmastenol value from the sterol composition was found to be above 0.5% in some samples in all the years studied (total 21 samples). Delta-7-stigmastenol values of olive oil samples varied between 0.16% and 1.14%. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied using a genetic algorithm-based inverse least squares method to determine whether there is a relationship between climate data and delta-7-stigmastenol values. According to this result, it has been determined that the delta-7-stigmastenol value is high when the annual average relative humidity is low and the annual average temperature is high. There is an urgent need to make forward-looking plans due to climate change.  相似文献

A novel shape-stabilized n-hexadecane/polyHIPE composite phase change material (PCM) was designed and thermal energy storage properties were determined. Porous carbon-based frameworks were produced by polymerization of styrene-based high internal phase emulsions (HIPEs) in existence of the surface modified montmorillonite nanoclay. The morphological and mechanical properties of the obtained polyHIPEs were investigated by scanning electron microscopy analysis and the compression test, respectively. The polyHIPE composite with the best pore morphology and the highest compression modulus was determined as a framework to prepare the form stable n-hexadecane/polyHIPE composite phase change material using the one-step impregnation method. The chemical structure and morphologic property of composite PCM was investigated by FT-IR and polarized optical microscopy analysis. Thermal stability of the form-stable PCM (FSPCM) was examined by TG analysis. The n-hexadecane fraction engaged into the carbon foam skeleton was found of as 55 wt% from TG curve. differential scanning calorimetry analysis was used for determining melting temperature and latent heat storage capacity of FSPCM and these values were determined as (26.36°C) and (143.41 J/g), respectively. The results indicated that the obtained composite material (FSPCM) has a considerable potential for low temperature (18°C-30°C) thermal energy storage applications with its thermal energy storage capacity, appropriate phase change temperatures and high thermal stability.  相似文献

In this study, a thermodynamic model of an active direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) system, which couples in‐house experimental data for the DMFC with the mass and energy balances for the system components (condenser, mixing vessel, blower, and pumps), is formed. The modeling equations are solved using the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) program. This model gives the mass fluxes and thermodynamic properties of fluids for each state, heat and work transfer between the components and their surroundings, and electrical efficiency of the system. The effect of the methanol concentration (between 0.5 and 1.25 M) and air flow rate (between 20 and 30 mL cm?2 min?1) on the net power output and electrical efficiency of the system and the condenser outlet temperature is investigated. The results essentially showed that the highest value for the electrical efficiency of the system is 23.6% when the current density, methanol concentration, and air flow rate are taken as 0.2 A cm?2, 0.75 M, and 20 mL cm?2 min?1, respectively. In addition, the air flow rate was found to be the most significant parameter affecting the condenser outlet temperature.  相似文献

Social network sites (SNSs) are relatively new phenomena, and the relationship between SNSs and psychopathology remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the type of SNSs depressed adolescents use and the incidence of depressive disclosure on SNSs among them. The study was designed to be cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 53 adolescents diagnosed with depressive disorder, as confirmed by K-SADS-PL, and 55 non-depressed adolescents. The Children’s Depression Inventory, Social Anxiety Scale and Social Network Use Questionnaire were administered. The primary finding was that the amount of time spent on the Internet and on SNSs was significantly higher among depressed adolescents than non-depressed adolescents. Additionally, depressed adolescents reported significantly higher disclosure of anhedonia, worthlessness, guilt, loss of concentration, irritability and thoughts of suicide on SNSs. The intensity of the depression sharing was significantly higher in the depressed group. Depressed young people use social networks to express their symptoms. Adolescents’ disclosure on social networks may be able to guide relatives, friends and mental health professionals.  相似文献

Global competition and increasing customer expectations are forcing automobile manufacturers to improve their operations. Maintenance, being one of the most critical components in many industries, has a direct impact on the improvement of the overall production performance. In this paper, we introduce an anticipative plant-level maintenance decision support system (APMDSS) that provides guidance on corrective and preventive maintenance priorities based on the equipment bottleneck ranks with the objective of improving daily plant throughput. APMDSS anticipates the plant dynamics (i.e. bottlenecks, hourly buffer levels and likelihood of machine breakdowns) for upcoming shifts using starting state information of the production shift (e.g. equipment maintenance history, operational status of machines, buffer levels and scheduled production model mix). We also evaluate the performance of APMDSS using real data from an automotive body shop experiencing routine throughput difficulties due to frequent machine breakdowns. The results are compared with other methods from the literature and found to be superior in many settings.  相似文献
