The structure and surface morphology of Ni-incorporated diamond like carbon (Ni:DLC) films have been investigated. These films were deposited on Si substrates using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique. A KrF Excimer laser (λ = 248 nm) was used for co-ablation from multi component Ni–graphite target. The concentration of Ni was varied by ablating the Ni part of the target with various numbers of laser pulses. The SEM and AFM analysis reveals that the surface is composed of segregates of Ni which increases with the increase in Ni content during the growth process. The structural investigations by XRD and Raman spectroscopy provided information about the orientation of the incorporated constituent and the ordering of the carbon species. Maximum height of the nano structures which were observed on the surface was ∼50 nm. The G-peak of the graphite was shifted towards higher wave number due to enhancement in SP2 sites which have been increased due to the increase in the Ni concentration. A small change in the surface roughness ranging from 7.78 nm to 13.1 nm due to increased Ni concentration was also observed. 相似文献

Nickel hydroxide nanosheets, nanobelts and nanorods were prepared by hydrothermal treatment of the precipitates obtained at different pH values. The morphology and crystal structure of the products could be controlled simply by adjusting the pH value at precipitation. Interconnected nanosheets of hexagonal β-Ni(OH)2 with thickness around 10–20 nm were formed at pH ∼ 11, whereas nanobelts with typical widths around 40–80 nm, and nanorods with diameters around 50–60 nm of phase pure α-Ni(OH)2 containing intercalated sulphate ions were obtained in the pH range ∼9.5–8.5. Thermal annealing of the hydroxides at 500 °C yielded cubic phase NiO with morphologies similar to their hydroxide precursors. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis were used to characterize the as-prepared products. In this study, a new high-performance liquid crystal ester-based thermoset for composite applications was investigated. All-aromatic liquid crystalline thermosets (LCTs) are a promising class of polymers that offer a unique combination of properties such as solvent resistivity, high modulus, high strength, low coefficient of thermal expansion and high after cure glass-transition temperatures (Tg ? 150 °C). Fully cured LCTs offer superior thermo-mechanical properties over high-performance thermoplastic polymers such as PPS, PEEK and PEI. For this study we used a 9000 g mol−1 ester-based LCT based on cheap and readily available monomers, i.e. 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (H), isophthalic acid (I) and hydroquinone (Q), abbreviated by us as HIQ-9. Composite panels prepared from T300 carbon fiber (5-harness satin weave) showed in-plane shear strength of 154 MPa and an in-plane shear modulus of 3.7 GPa. The tensile strength and modulus were measured to be 696 MPa and 57 GPa, respectively. A post-mortem inspection showed that the interfacial strength was excellent and no delamination was observed in the test specimen. Preliminary results show that LCT-based composites exhibit a better combination of (thermo) mechanical properties over PPS and PEI-based composites. 相似文献

近年来水声网络(UAN)技术飞速发展,但仍然面临诸多严峻挑战,能量效率成为水声网络的首要考虑因素。此外,水声信道传播时延大且可用带宽受限,严重制约了水声通信技术的可靠性和有效性,进而限制了水声网络的整体性能。定向通信技术可以有效改善上述情况,通过波束聚焦能力将声波能量聚集在一定角度范围内,获得比全向通信更高的通信范围和信噪比,提升整个网络的能耗效率和空间复用率。但该技术需要对目的节点的位置具备先验知识,且会面临“聋节点”问题,因此该文提出一个水声网络全双工定向碰撞避免(FDDCA)媒体接入控制(MAC)协议,通过装备两个分别处于不同工作频带的全向换能器和定向换能器解决“聋节点”问题,并通过降低节点的冲突域解决了“暴露终端”问题。仿真结果表明,与水下Aloha(UW-Aloha)和时隙地面多址接入(S-FAMA)协议相比,FDDCA在多汇聚节点的网络拓扑下吞吐量分别提升了140%和400%,网络能效上节省了90%和94%。 相似文献

Stable binary single source precursors (SSP) for the deposition of thin films of ceramic semiconductors of composition SnO·GeO were synthesized by close circuit chemical vapour deposition (CCCVD) method. Elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques were used to characterize the precursors. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) were employed to characterize the thin films. Interrupted polarization measurements indicate that among Na2SO4, buffer (pH 7) and NaOH, the most passivating anodic film is formed on bismuth in the buffer solution. Under opencircuit conditions, film growth occurs on the metal surface in buffer solutions of pH 1.81 to 11.25. The rate of growth increases with decrease in pH. The passive metal undergoes dissolution in buffer solutions according to a zero-order mechanism; the most effective pH values for film dissolution lie between 8 and 10. The results indicate the simultaneous importance of the anion type and pH of the electrolyte in determining anodic film stability. 相似文献

Here in, we report the charge transport mechanism in semiconducting La0.5Ca0.5Mn0.5Fe0.5O3 (LCMFO) polycrystalline material synthesized via sol–gel auto combustion route. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the orthorhombic phase of the prepared material. Temperature dependent resistivity and impedance spectroscopy measurements have been carried out to probe the dielectric and electrical conduction mechanism which revealed a change of Mott variable range to the small polaronic hopping conduction mechanism around 303 K. The complex impedance and modulus spectra undoubtedly showed the contribution of both grain and grain boundary effect on the conduction properties of LCMFO. An equivalent circuit [(RgbQgb) (RgQg)] model has been used to address the electrical parameters associated with the different phases (grains and grain boundaries) having different relaxation times. The values of resistances of two phases obtained after fitting the equivalent circuit in the nyquist plot have been analyzed which confirmed the change of conduction mechanism around 303 K. The resultant change in conduction mechanism is also supported by the conductivity plots. 相似文献

Trabecular bone holds the utmost importance due to its significance regarding early bone loss. Diseases like osteoporosis greatly affect the structure of the Trabecular bone which results in different outcomes like high risk of fracture. The objective of this paper is to inspect the characteristics of the Trabecular Bone by using the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technique. These characteristics prove to be quite helpful in studying different studies related to Trabecular bone such as osteoporosis. The things that were considered before the selection of the articles for the systematic review were language, research field, and electronic sources. Only those articles written in the English language were selected as it is the most prominent language used in scientific, engineering, computer science, and biomedical researches. This literature review was conducted on the articles published between 2006 and 2020. A total of 62 research papers out of 1050 papers were extracted which were according to our topic of review after screening abstract and article content for the title and abstract screening. The findings from those researches were compiled at the end of the result section.
