Accelerated wear testing with a microfabricated surface to evaluate the lubrication ability of biomolecules on polyethylene

Wear of ultrahigh‐molecular‐weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and wear‐particle‐induced osteolysis and bone resorption are the major factors causing the failure of total joint replacements. It is feasible to improve the lubrication and reduce the wear of artificial joints. We need further understanding of the lubrication mechanism of the synovial fluid. The objective of this study is to evaluate the lubricating ability of three major components in the synovial fluid: albumin, globulin, and phospholipids. An accelerated wear testing procedure in which UHMWPE is rubbed against a microfabricated surface with controlled asperities has been developed to evaluate the lubrication behavior. An analysis of the wear particle dimensions and wear amount of the tests has provided insights for comparing their lubrication performance. It is concluded that the presence of biomolecules at the articulating interface may reduce friction. A higher concentration of a biological lubricant leads to a decrease in the wear particle width. In addition, in combination with the wear results and mechanical analysis, the roles of individual biomolecules contributing to friction and wear at the articulating interface are discussed. These results can help us to identify the role of the biomolecules in the boundary lubrication of artificial joints, and further development of lubricating additives for artificial joints may be feasible. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 机械过冷的制冷系统在汽车空调中的应用

由于很多汽车空调采用斜盘式压缩机，有利于采用机械过冷的制冷系统，来增加汽车空调的制冷量、提高制冷效率。本文的主要目的是通过对系统工质的流量分配、空调制冷量和性能系数(COP)与中间压力之间的变化关系的研究，来研究机械过冷在汽车空调中应用的可行性。     

维氏硬度检测中不确定度初探

通过分析维氏硬度检测中的不确定度，计算了各不确定度分量所占的权重，得到HVlO(440--738)范围内的相对不确定度为1．3％--1．7％。     

Contour integral method for stress intensity factors of interface crack

A general Betti's reciprocal work theorem with interface cracks of a bimaterial is established in this paper, and a path independent contour integral method for the stress intensity factor (SIF) of the interface crack was obtained. When the stress and displacement fields in a specimen are calculated by the finite element method, the SIF K _I and K _II of interface cracks can be obtained immediately by a contour integral. Some solutions of interesting examples, such as two collinear interface cracks, are also given.Presented at the Far East Fracture Group (FEFG) International Symposium on Fracture and Strength of Solids, 4–7 July 1994 in Xi'an China.     

筛查基因突变的新技术——循环双脱氧指纹图谱法及其应用

建立了适用于大批量标本基因突变筛查的双脱氧指纹图谱法即ｄｄＦ。该技术民测定ＤＮＡ序列的双脱氧末端终止法及ＳＳＣＰ二者长处于一身，即只作一个双脱氧末端终止反应，然后将反应产物在与ＳＳＣＰ相同的电泳条件下进行聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳，这样有突变的样品不会漏检，阳性检出率高达１００％。     

提高润滑油基础油氧化安定性的组合工艺

以生产润滑油基础油的老三套工艺为基础，开发了改善油品氧化安定性的组合工艺。该工艺的主要特点是包括一步络合脱氮过程。实验证明，该组合工艺既可以有效地提高基础油的氧化安定性，又能降低溶剂精制深度，提高基础油收率。     

全国农田水利建设先进县的经验与启示

针对农田水利建设下滑的被动局面，各地积极探索，从加强领导、拓宽投入渠道、创新体制和机制等方面积极采取措施，取得了很大成效。对国务院2006年表彰的100个全国农田水利建设先进县（市、区）中的35个县（市、区）进行了调研，总结了它们的主要做法、经验，提出农田水利建设先进县的三点启示。
