AB5-type intermetallic compounds were prepared by arc-melting in argon atmosphere. The composition of a stoichiometric compound LaNi3.6Al0.4Co0.7Mn0.3 with a hexagonal CaCu5 structure was varied by stoichiometric and nonstoichiometric addition of Ti. With the increase of the Ti y0.05 content in LaNi3.6Al0.4Co0.7Mn0.3Tiy, the hydrogen storage capacity is enhanced, whereas when y=0.1–0.3, it is decreased. The discharge capacity and cyclability are increased considerably by addition of titanium in the range of 0.02–0.1 with a maximum value at about 0.1%. The highest maximum capacity is achieved for a nonstoichiometric addition of 0.05% Ti. The kinetic properties are also additionally improved by the formation of a titanium-rich second phase. This can explain the improvement of the capacity for alloys with low Ti content. The decrease in capacity for high Ti content was also correlated with the amount of the Ti-rich phase. Therefore, the improvement of kinetics are due to the catalytic effect, grain boundary diffusion effect or more pronounced alloy pulverization upon cycling. This study has been aimed to improve the electrode properties of a series of multicomponent LaNi3.6Al0.4Co0.7Mn0.3Tiy (y=0.0, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) alloys which have mutual complementary properties. All the prepared alloys have been subjected to analyses by EDS, SEM and XRD. In order to determine the hydrogen storage capacity, the pressure composition isotherms (P–C–T curves) have been used. Investigation into the passivation mechanism of iron in phosphate electrolytes on surfaces exposed to erosive attack On iron electrodes in neutral phosphate electrolytes by continuous solid particle impingement a reaction layer is formed within the transition potential region under anodic polarization. XPS and AES investigations show that the reaction layer formed under impingement will be replaced by an oxide layer during the transition into the passive state under simultaneous decrease of the layer thickness. The active/passive transition in phosphate electrolytes may be attached to the equilibrium potential of the reaction . According to this thermodynamic interpretation of both the active/passive transition and the passive/active transition, respectively on iron in presence of phosphate ions may be described as the Fe(II)/Fe(III)-redox reaction with two solid phases, the iron(II)-phosphate phase and the iron(III)-oxide phase. The increase of the interfacial dynamic processes at the solid/liquid interface causes in consequence of the solid particle impingement that thermodynamic laws govern the course of reactions. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of finite‐time asynchronous filtering for a class of discrete‐time Markov jump systems. The communication links between the system and filter are assumed to be unreliable, which lead to the simultaneous occurrences of packet dropouts, time delays, sensor nonlinearity and nonsynchronous modes. The objective is to design a filter that ensures not only the mean‐square stochastic finite‐time bounded but also a prescribed level of performance for the underlying error system over a lossy network. With the help of the Lyapunov–Krasovskii approach and stochastic analysis theory, sufficient conditions are established for the existence of an admissible filter. By using a novel simple matrix decoupling approach, a desired asynchronous filter can be constructed. Finally, a numerical example is presented and a pulse‐width‐modulation‐driven boost converter model is employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. We propose a control strategy that could steer the group of mobile agents in the plane to achieve a specified formation. The control law could be implemented in a fully decentralized manner so that each agent moves on their own local reference frame. Under the acyclic minimally persistent graph topology, each agent measures the relative displacements of neighboring agents and then adjusts the distances between them to achieve the desired formation. As well as achieving a fixed formation, we could resize the formation only by changing the leader edge, which connects the leader with the first‐follower in acyclic minimally persistent graph, without changing the structures of the control law. The study aimed to examine the relationship between green consumption value, satisfaction, and loyalty of driving hybrid cars among elderly consumers. Data were collected from a cross‐sectional survey of 314 elderly consumers who purchased hybrid cars in the United States. A partial least squares analysis revealed that elderly consumers’ social, price, and quality values positively influenced the satisfaction of their hybrid car experience, and their satisfaction significantly influenced their loyalty of hybrid car. The relationship between green consumption value, satisfaction, and loyalty toward driving hybrid cars among elderly consumers revealed insight into their value orientations toward the hybrid car. Special efforts are suggested in promoting hybrid car use to elderly consumer groups. Marketers should pay attention to changing beliefs and increasing perceived values of driving a hybrid car for consumers to encourage them to use green products. 相似文献
