Many sectors in the transport industry are concerned about the vehicle routing problem (VRP), hence the growing interest of researchers for this type of problem and its variants. This is due essentially to its many real applications in logistics for the transport of goods. The originality and contribution of our work is that we have dealt a problem that combines several variants: multiple vehicles (m), multiple depots (MD), pickup and delivery problem (PDP) with time windows (TW). Hence the notation of our problem: m-MDPDPTW. In this paper, we present the m-MDPDPTW, which is an optimisation problem belonging to the category of NP Hard problems. This problem must meet requests for transport between customers and suppliers satisfying precedence, capacity and time constraints. The goal is to find the best solution, which is the best route minimising the total travelled distance. To solve and optimise our m-MDPDPTW, we have developed a new algorithm based on the particle swarm optimisation (PSO) method. The performance of this new approach is tested on data set instances of Li and Lim's benchmark problems in which we have added multiple depot locations. Comparing with prior works, our proposed approach gave better results by decreasing the distance for several studied instances.  相似文献

The alternate direction method of multipliers (ADMM) algorithm has recently been proposed for LDPC decoding based on linear programming (LP) techniques. Even though it improves the error rate performance compared with usual message passing (MP) techniques, it shows a higher computation complexity. However, a significant step towards LP LDPC decoding scalability and optimization is made possible since the ADMM algorithm acts as an MP decoding one. In this paper, an overview of the ADMM approach and its error correction performances is provided. Then, its computation and memory complexities are evaluated. Finally, optimized software implementations of the decoder to take advantage of multi/many-core device features are described. Optimization choices are discussed and justified according to execution profiling figures and the algorithm’s parallelism levels. Experimentation results show that this LP based decoding technique can reach WiMAX and WRAN standards real time throughput requirements on mid-range devices.  相似文献

Angiotensin I‐converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory peptides have been searched in thornback ray (Raja clavata) muscle hydrolysed with Bacillus subtilis A26 proteases until a hydrolysis degree of 18.35%. The hydrolysate showed an IC50 of 0.83 mg mL?1. To identify peptides responsible for this activity, the extract was eluted through size‐exclusion chromatography and fractions collected. The highest ACE inhibitory activity was found for fractions F2 and F3 which had IC50 of 0.42 and 0.51 mg mL?1, respectively. These fractions were analysed by nano‐liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (nLC‐MS/MS). A total of 131 and 108 peptide sequences mainly derived from actin, myosin heavy chain and procollagen alpha 1 chain proteins were identified in fractions F2 and F3, respectively. FQPSF and LKYPI showed the best results with an IC50 of 12.56 and 27.07 μM, respectively. These results prove the potential of thornback ray muscle hydrolysate as a source of ACE inhibitory peptides.  相似文献

Microalgal biotechnology has emerged due to the health‐promoting properties of microalgae related to their bioactive compounds and the great diversity of products that can be developed from algal biomass. Microalgal biomasses have been produced industrially for applications in different fields such as food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, and animal feed industries. They can be cultivated either in open systems or in closed systems (photobioreactors). Another important area is the use of microalgal biomass for energy production. It has become obvious that petroleum‐derived fuels are unsustainable, due to depleting world reserves and greenhouse gas emissions. Microalgae can provide several different types of renewable biofuels. These include methane produced by anaerobic digestion of the algal biomass, biodiesel derived from trans‐esterification of microalgal lipids, bioethanol produced from carbohydrate fermentations, and photobiologically produced biohydrogen. The idea of using microalgae as a source of fuel is not new. However, it is now being taken seriously because of increases in petroleum prices and, more significantly, the increasing concern about global warming as associated with burning fossil fuels. This review offers an update on information about microalgae, specifically emphasizing their biotechnological importance.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: In Tunisia, prickly pear fruit grow spontaneously; it is consumed as fresh fruit, juice or jam. When the fruit is used for juice production, the seeds are discarded and go to waste. Our study aimed to extract biomolecules from seeds by producing value‐added products from the fruits. RESULTS: An amylase from Opuntia ficus‐indica seeds was extracted and purified to homogeneity. An increase in specific activity of 113‐fold was observed. The apparent molecular mass of the enzyme is 64 kDa. The optimum pH and temperature for enzyme activity were pH 5 and 60 °C, respectively. Under these conditions, the specific activity is 245.5 U mg?1. The enzyme was activated by Co2+ and Mg2+ (relative activity 117% and 113% respectively) at lower ion concentrations. It was strongly inhibited by Mn2+ and Fe2+. Cu2+ inhibited totally the activity of this enzyme, but Ca2+ has an inhibitory effect which increases with ion concentration. CONCLUSION: The extracted enzyme belongs to the exo type of amylases and is classified as a β‐cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase since it generates mainly β‐cyclodextrin from starch. It exhibits high thermal stability and a broad range of pH stability, making it a promising prospect for industrial and food applications. Copyright © 2012 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

Abnormalities in melatonin physiology may be involved or closely linked to the pathophysiology and behavioral expression of autistic disorder, given its role in neurodevelopment and reports of sleep-wake rhythm disturbances, decreased nocturnal melatonin production, and beneficial therapeutic effects of melatonin in individuals with autism. In addition, melatonin, as a pineal gland hormone produced from serotonin, is of special interest in autistic disorder given reported alterations in central and peripheral serotonin neurobiology. More specifically, the role of melatonin in the ontogenetic establishment of circadian rhythms and the synchronization of peripheral oscillators opens interesting perspectives to ascertain better the mechanisms underlying the significant relationship found between lower nocturnal melatonin excretion and increased severity of autistic social communication impairments, especially for verbal communication and social imitative play. In this article, first we review the studies on melatonin levels and the treatment studies of melatonin in autistic disorder. Then, we discuss the relationships between melatonin and autistic behavioral impairments with regard to social communication (verbal and non-verbal communication, social interaction), and repetitive behaviors or interests with difficulties adapting to change. In conclusion, we emphasize that randomized clinical trials in autism spectrum disorders are warranted to establish potential therapeutic efficacy of melatonin for social communication impairments and stereotyped behaviors or interests.  相似文献

Group I introns are proposed to have become mobile following the acquisition of open reading frames (ORFs) that encode highly specific DNA endonucleases. This proposal implies that intron ORFs could behave as autonomously mobile entities. This was supported by abundant circumstantial evidence but no experiment of ORF transfer from an ORF-containing intron to its ORF-less counterpart has been described. In this paper we present such experiments, which demonstrate the efficient mobility of the mitochondrial nad1-i4-orf1 between two Podospora strains. The homing of this mobile ORF was accompanied by a bidirectional co-conversion that did not systematically involve the whole intron sequence. Orf1 acquisition would be the most recent step in the evolution of the nad1-i4 intron, which has resulted in many strains of Podospora having an intron with two ORFs (biorfic) and four splicing pathways. We show that two of the splicing events that operate in this biorfic intron, as evidenced by PCR experiments, are generated by a 5'-alternative splice site, which is most probably a remnant of the monoorfic ancestral form of the intron. We propose a sequential evolution model that is consistent with the four organizations of the corresponding nad1 locus that we found among various species of the Pyrenomycete family; these organizations consist of no intron, an intron alone, a monoorfic intron, and a biorfic intron.  相似文献

As advanced melanoma remains practically incurable, early surgical excision is an important step toward a reduction in mortality. For that, the dermatologists always encouraged the detection of the nevus at an early stage. In recent years, a considerable interest has arisen in the development of noninvasive tools to improve early diagnosis, many new technical operation using a telecommunication network allow practitioners to perform in real time a relevant diagnosis. Because of the open environment of web‐based applications, their exploitation in medical field introduces many security concerns. In this article, we present DECOPREME (COllaborative PREcocious DEtection of Melanoma) a new project which allows practitioners to use telecommunication technologies to provide early diagnosis. We describe, after that, our proposed reversible watermarking method used for integrity verification, we also evaluate image visual quality after watermark embedding and the effectiveness of locating tampered regions. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
