In this article polyaniline (PANI) nanocomposites containing thermally reduced graphene oxide (TRGO) were synthesized and characterized before and after thermal aging. The nanocomposites were prepared through in situ oxidative polymerization of aniline in the presence of TRGO nanoplatelets. FTIR and Raman spectroscopies, XRD, FESEM, and electrical conductivity measurements were used to characterize synthesized materials. PANI/TRGO nanocomposites showed considerably higher electrical conductivity when compared to pure PANI, which was associated with the higher electrical conductivity of TRGO and increased crystallinity of PANI in the presence of TRGO. Pure PANI and PANI/TRGO nanocomposites were thermally aged at 70, 80, 90, and 100 °C. The results showed that the characteristic time of thermal aging process is higher for PANI/TRGO nanocomposites and increases with TRGO loading, which indicates better stability of conductivity during thermal aging process. On the other hand, the characteristic time of thermal aging reduced with aging temperature and a fast decrease was observed from 80 to 90 °C. Improved resistance over thermal aging can be attributed to the barrier effect of TRGO nanoplatelets to the dopant molecules, which retards conductivity degradation in the thermal aging process. Furthermore, TRGO increases PANI crystallinity and it can also prevent crystallinity reduction during thermal aging process. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. The TiO2 hollow spheres were synthesized using a green, cheap, and easy process, in which carbonaceous spheres were chosen as the removable template. The prepared materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Atomic force microscopy (AFM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) analysis. According to the results, the obtained mesoporous TiO2 hollow spheres demonstrated an external diameters less than 200?nm with shell thickness around 40?nm. The antibacterial activities of the TiO2 hollow spheres were evaluated against gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) and gram-negative (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa). No antibacterial activity was found for TiO2 hollow spheres in the used concentrations. TiO2 hollow spheres were loaded with gentamycin as a selected antibiotic to magnify their benefits in biomedical applications. TiO2 hollow spheres exhibited good antibiotic carrier activity for the direct delivery of gentamicin, which was attributed to interaction between gentamicin and surface due to their larger specific surface area, more abundant porous structure, and their spherical morphology. The application of TiO2 hollow spheres as gentamicin carrier undoubtedly opens an avenue to use hollow sphere materials in other drug delivery applications.  相似文献

The modified Levenberg-Marquardt method is used for simultaneous estimation of decomposition kinetic coefficients and temperature-dependent thermophysical properties of charring ablators with a moving boundary over a wide temperature range. No prior information is used for the functional forms of the unknown thermal conductivity and specific heat. The procedure used differs from the traditional one in that it does not require prescribed time-dependent surface heat flux, recession rate, and pyrolysis gas mass flow rate. These time-dependent quantities may recover during an iterative procedure. The measured temperatures are simulated numerically by the Charring material ablation code, which accounts for unsteady ablation. The method can determine unknown parameters in an efficient manner with reasonable accuracy, without exact advance knowledge about the net surface heat flux, surface recession, and gas flux through the material.  相似文献

In the flooded lead_acid batteries (FLAB), gas bubbles are initially formed on the surface of the electrodes, which are produced by electrochemical reactions, and then released into the electrolyte. In the present investigation, the effect of surface characterization of electrodes of FLAB on the gas bubble dynamic parameters in the electrolyte flow at different charging/discharging rates (C-rates) are studied utilizing particle image velocimetry (PIV) method. The results show that the capacity of FLAB have a linear behav-ior due to changes in each of the two parameters of the surface characterization of electrodes and the C-rate. At all State of charges (SOCs) of FLAB cells in different tests, increasing average roughness (Ra) and average wavelength of the roughness (ka) in the electrode surfaces, results in an increase in average bub-ble diameter and bubble rising velocity. Nevertheless, a sharp decrease in the void fraction of bubbles within the electrolyte was observed due to the increment in ka and Ra. Also, the effect of the rising move-ment of gas bubbles within the electrolyte on the average electrolyte velocity pattern in the gap between the electrodes by changing the surface characterization of electrodes are investigated in detail.  相似文献

The multi-period multi-product (MPMP) production planning problems, generally, deal with matching production levels of individual products with fluctuated demands over planning horizon. The conventional MPMP optimisation models suffer from insufficient utilisation of available capacity of machines. This fallacy is due to inappropriate formulation of machine capacity and material handling constraints. In this study, a novel mathematical model is proposed to simultaneously optimise production quantities and provide information about managerial decisions such as subcontracting, carrying inventory/backordering, and also hiring/layoff personnel. The problem is then formulated as a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model by applying appropriate linearisation of non-linear components. The objective is to minimise production costs comprising of production, storage, shortage, subcontracting costs and costs associated with hiring/dismissing labourers. Superiority of the proposed model over existing ones, has been initially evaluated by solving the case presented by Byrne and Bakir [Byrne, M.D. and Bakir, M.A., 1999. Production planning using a hybrid simulation-analytical approach. Today, organizations try to decline academically expenses using humans and resources in addition to rising managers and operators' satisfaction. Meantime, a very important step in the process of decision is the assignment of human resources, particularly in connection with research and development (R&D) projects in which the system is highly dependent on the capabilities of human resources. In this study, we tried all the assumptions that come true in the real world, considered a model for applied R&D projects to reduce costs and increase the efficiency of projects. Therefore, an integrated multiproject scheduling and multiskill human resource assignment model under uncertainty has developed for R&D projects. Furthermore, it is assumed that the activity processing time is related to human resources assignment that means the learning effect is considered. To demonstrate the proposed model efficiency, the various dimensions instance problem was solved accurately and efficiently in GAMS software, and the results have been reported. In addition, the proposed model is validated through the input parameter sensitivity analysis. The results indicate a suitable performance of the proposed fuzzy mathematical programming model is due to the complexity of the problem.  相似文献

This paper presents a novel modified interactive honey bee mating optimization (IHBMO) base fuzzy stochastic long-term approach for determining optimum location and size of distributed energy resources (DERs). The Monte Carlo simulation method is used to model the uncertainties associated with long-term load forecasting. A proper combination of several objectives is considered in the objective function. Reduction of loss and power purchased from the electricity market, loss reduction in peak load level and reduction in voltage deviation are considered simultaneously as the objective functions. First, these objectives are fuzzified and designed to be comparable with each other. Then, they are introduced into an IHBMO algorithm in order to obtain the solution which maximizes the value of integrated objective function. The output power of DERs is scheduled for each load level. An enhanced economic model is also proposed to justify investment on DER. An IEEE 30-bus radial distribution test system is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Efficient epoxidation of olefins catalyzed by MoO2(acac)2 supported on amines functionalized MWCNTs is reported. The MWCNTs bearing carboxylic acid groups were modified with 2-aminophenol and 2-aminothiophenol. These amine–MWCNTs act as bidentate ligand for attachment of Mo catalyst. These catalysts were characterized by elemental analysis, scanning electron microscopy, FT-IR and diffuse reflectance UV–Vis spectroscopic methods. The prepared catalysts were used for efficient epoxidation of different alkenes such as cyclic and linear ones with tert-butyl hydroperoxide in refluxing 1,2-dichloroethane. These heterogeneous catalysts can be reused several times without significant loss of their catalytic activity.  相似文献

Flexible manufacturing system (FMS) is described as a set of computerised numerical controlled machines, input–output buffers interconnected by automated material handling devices. This paper develops a bi-objective operation allocation and material handling equipment selection problem in FMS with the aim of minimising the machine operation, material handling and machine setup costs and maximising the machine utilisation. The proposed model is solved by a modified chaotic ant swarm simulation based optimisation (CAS2O) while applying pre-selection and discrete recombination operators is surveyed a capable method to simulate different experiments of FMS problems. A test problem is selected from the literature to evaluate the performance of the proposed approach. The results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method to solve the FMS scheduling problem.  相似文献
