In this study, ZnO nanoparticles were fabricated by co-precipitation method. The synthesized nanoparticles possessed monodispersity with the average size 20–30 nm. Since the industrial effluents may not be at neutral pH, the effect of pH on the rate of degradation is important and need to be considered. In order to investigate the effect of pH on ZnO nanoparticles photocatalytic activity, the photocatalytic degradation of Rose Bengal, Methylene blue, and Bromocresol green dyes, was studied with different pH values. It was observed that the adsorption of the dyes onto ZnO nanoparticles surface is strongly dependent on the pH of the solution which plays an important role in photocatalytic degradation. 相似文献
In recent years, using three-dimensional Network-on-Chip (3D-NoC) has increased due to its high performance and integration of processing elements. However, as technology evolves, dimension of processing elements and the number of connections are decreasing and this increases their sensitivity to external factors. Therefore, fault detection is one of the most important challenges of designing 3D-NoC because even a transistor not working well may cause the whole system not to work. Many methods have been provided so far to make three-dimensional NoC tolerant against fault, but most of these methods suffer from some disadvantages. For example, their fault detection models are not strong enough or they do not consider the network traffic. Regarding these problems, in this article, a routing technique called fault-tolerant routing algorithm based on path diversity and congestion (FT-PDC) for three-dimensional mesh connectivity based on NoC is provided that has some features like finding the shortest current path, considering fault in vertical and horizontal links, and considering path diversity and congestion. In addition to these features, FT-PDC could solve the problems of other methods to a great extent considering network traffic conditions and sending the packet from a path in which traffic conditions are two hops better than the other paths. These features have led to the superiority of the proposed method over other methods. The simulation results in the Noxim simulator show that latency and throughput of FT-PDC compared to similar recent methods have significantly improved.
In this study, saponins were extracted from Panax ginseng root powder. The crude solvent‐extracted saponins containing triterpenoid glycosides and terpenes that were identified by TLC techniques. The critical micelle concentrations (CMC) of the saponins were determined by measuring the change in (a) the UV‐visible spectrum of iodine due to the micelle‐iodine complexation, (b) the absorption intensity of aqueous alpha‐lipoic acid due to the micellar solubilization of the drug, and (c) the surface tension due to the abrupt change in the air/liquid interface saturation by surfactants monomers. The development of new absorption peak due to the micelle‐iodine complexation, enhancement in the absorbance due to the micelle‐solubilized lipoic acid, and displacement of monomer‐micelle equilibrium to micelle formation in higher monomer concentration region are some of the physicochemical properties in which CMC could be determined. The catalytic activity of a hybrid compound [Fe(salen)-POM] (1) consisting of Fe(III)(salen)Cl [H2salen = N,N′-bis(salicylidene)ethylenediamine] complex covalently linked to a Keggin type polyoxometalate, K8SiW11O39, (POM) was studied in the oxidation of various olefins in acetonitrile, using hydrogen peroxide as oxygen source. While, [Fe(salen)-POM] catalyst showed moderate to good catalytic activity and product selectivity in the oxidation reactions, the complex Fe(III)(salen)Cl showed poor catalytic activity in these reactions. In this work, solvent blending in combination with extruding are applied to provide polystyrene/silica nanocomposite specimens. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) show same nanoparticle dispersion in PS matrix in low to high filler loadings. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic mechanical thermal analyzer (DMTA) and thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) were used to study the thermophysical characteristic of the nanocomposites in solid state. In addition, the melt state rheological behavior of the samples was investigated under constant and zero shear rates. Interestingly, different behaviors were detected in nanocomposites in low and high nanoparticle loadings. In addition, rheological characteristics of molten polymer are dramatically affected in samples with low nanosilica concentration while stabilized in high filler loadings. 相似文献
Controlling of added iron to fortified flours is very important, and the common method is spot test inaccurate method. In this study, we invented a new method based on a computer vision system. We also compared the accuracy of this method and the spot test with atomic absorption spectroscopy. In new method, ferrous sulfate particles in the samples were oxidized, and some red spots were formed on the surface of samples. The captured images from samples were changed to binary images and analyzed using the Clemex Vision 3.5 software. After processing of image, the number of colored spots and the area of spots were determined. The calibration curves were drawn, and in order to compare the sensitivity of the new method with spot test, 33 samples were selected randomly, and the amounts of added iron were detected using new method, spot test, and atomic absorption. We used t test and linear regression tests with a confidence interval of 95 % to compare the results. Results showed that there was a higher correlation (R2?=?0.988, p?<?0.001) between new method and atomic absorption method in comparison with spot test (R2?=?0.501, p?<?0.001). Therefore, spot test and atomic absorption can be replaced by an accurate but inexpensive method. 相似文献
