Considered has been the phenomenon of hydraulic jump formed as a result of circular jet impingement on the horizontal surface. The horizontal spreading of liquid is induced mainly by action of inertia forces. In the case of supercritical conditions of film flow the phenomenon of hydraulic jump may appear. Postulated model includes in the analysis dissipation effects present in the flow which lead to formation of the hydraulic jump. The model is derived from the analysis of Bernoulli equation. Some preliminary analysis on the formation of the type I and type II hydraulic jump, i.e., featuring formation of one or two eddies, has also been given. Presented model was compared with available database of experimental results. Satisfactory consistency has been achieved.  相似文献

Today, consumers are more conscious about nutrition and food products with health benefits. In this study, partial sucrose replacement (20%) with steviol glycosides derived from Stevia Rebaudiana and total replacement of cocoa powder with cocoa fibre preparation in muffins were conducted. There were three levels of dietary fibre addition – 3%, 6% and 12%. Physical analysis of texture, colour, cooking yield and porosity was conducted. Moreover, chemical analysis of total dietary fibre and total phenol content was made as well. Sensory evaluation in two parts was also carried out. The experiment revealed the increase in firmness, porosity, TDF and TCP and the decrease in springiness, cohesiveness and lightness. The best‐ranked sample in sensory evaluation was muffin with 6% of TDF sweetened with mixture of sugar and stevia. Stevia addition enhanced cocoa and sweet taste in tested muffins.  相似文献

Today’s Internet is prominently used for content distribution. Various platforms such as content delivery networks (CDNs) have become an integral part of the digital content ecosystem. Most recently, the information-centric networking (ICN) paradigm proposes the adoption of native content naming for secure and efficient content delivery. This further enhances the flexibility of content access where a content request can be served by any source within the Internet. In this paper, we propose and evaluate a multi-criteria decision algorithm for efficient content delivery applicable for content networks in general (among others, CDN and ICN). Our algorithm computes the best available source and path for serving content requests taking into account information about content transfer requirements, location of the consumer, location of available content servers, content server load and content delivery paths between content servers and consumer. The proposed algorithm exploits two closely related processes. The first level discovers multiple content delivery paths and gathers their respective transfer characteristics. This discovery process is based on long-term network measurements and performed offline. The second process is invoked for each content request to find the best combined content server and delivery path. The cooperation between both levels allows our algorithm to increase the number of satisfied content requests thanks to efficient utilisation of network and server resources. The proposed decision algorithm was evaluated by simulation using Internet scale network model. The results confirm the effectiveness gain of content network architectures that introduce network awareness. Moreover, the simulation process allows for a comparison between different routing algorithms and, especially, between single and multipath routing algorithms.  相似文献

The development of the oxide scale on model Fe20Cr5Al-type alloys unmodified and containing implanted yttrium was studied in oxygen-dominated atmosphere at 1,100 °C for up to 1 h. A two-stage-oxidation exposure was applied with the use of 18O2 as a tracer. The choice of the exposure durations ensured the possibility to follow the consecutive stages of scale development. The oxidized samples were characterized using SEM (morphology); PLS (phase composition), and SIMS (elemental distributions). The obtained results are discussed in terms of the mechanism of the development of protective α-Al2O3 scale and the effect of the additions on this process taking into account the necessity of distinguishing the mechanism and kinetics of the scale evolution. Similar scale evolution stages were found on both studied materials and in both cases the protective α-Al2O3 scale developed rapidly, already after the exposure for 3 min. Implanted yttrium appeared to have a negligible effect on the evolution of the scale. It only slightly retarded the evolution which can be attributed rather to a kinetic effect than to mechanistic one. However, the mechanical failure of the scales via formation of cracks at the asperities of convolutions occurred on the yttrium-implanted alloy but not on the non-implanted one.  相似文献

Our recent in vitro experiments suggest that fluvastatin may influence tyrosinase (key enzyme of melanogenesis) synthesis. The aim of the present study was to verify those findings in experiments, in vitro, in melanoma cell line, and in vivo, in mice. The expression of tyrosinase in B16F10 melanoma cell line, after induction of melanogenesis by UVB irradiation, was examined by Western blot analysis. Afterwards, the effect of fluvastatin on melanin synthesis in hair follicles of C57Bl/6 mice was investigated. The expression of tyrosinase was reduced in the presence of fluvastatin. In mice after anagen induction over the dorsal skin, gel containing fluvastatin in various concentrations was injected subcutaneously, while in part of control groups of mice, gel with placebo was injected. In addition, gel with fluvastatin was injected to four week-old mice (mice in first postnatal anagen) without anagen induction. In extension, injections of gel with fluvastatin or placebo were performed in mice without anagen induction (but after first postnatal anagen). In part of study group of mice (mice after anagen induction and injection of fluvastatin) regrowth of depigmented hair was observed, while in all control groups (mice after injection of placebo), such hair depigmentation over the skin area was not found. In conclusion, this study, for the first time, shows that fluvastatin might affect melanin synthesis in vivo.  相似文献

In the current study we have proposed a method to obtain a carbon/HAp bioactive nanofibrous scaffold. The modified carbon nanofibrous nonwoven' fabrics were obtained by the use of electrospinning and subsequent stabilization and carbonization processes. The modified with HAp powder nanofibrous PAN nonwovens were thermally stabilized using a multi-stage process in the temperature ranging from 100 °C to 300 °C in an oxidative environment and then carbonized at 1000 °C in argon atmosphere. The changes of properties of composite precursor membranes taking place during stabilization and carbonization processes were investigated using the methods of: DSC, TGA, FTIR, SEM, EDX, WAXD and mechanical tests. Bioactivity was determined by assessing the formation of crystalline apatite on the surface of membranes upon immersion in Simulated Body Fluid (SBF). The FTIR, SEM and WAXD investigation clearly prove that hydroxyapatite added to the electrospinning solution was present also in composites nanofibrous nonwovens after stabilization and carbonization process. It was found that due to HAp addition: the significant decrease of fibers average diameter occurs and that the average pore size for modified membranes is smaller than for the unmodified one. On the other hand it was shown that the ceramic additive protects fibers from mass reduction during the stabilization treatment. Finally a drastic increase of mineralization activity of nCF/HAp scaffolds as compared to their nCF counterparts has been proved.  相似文献

BackgroundPears due to low acidity are a suitable raw material for the production of multifruit nectars thus it is justified to determine the chemical composition and investigate the effect of cultivar and fruit maturity on juices quality.MethodsJuices from ‘Alexander Lucas’ and ‘Conference’ cultivars were produced after harvest and after 3 months of pears storage.ResultsAverage yield of clear juices was 76.4% for ‘Conference’ cultivar and 74.3% for ‘Alexander Lucas’. In the case of cloudy juices, the yield was lower by about 3%. Processing of ‘Conference’ cv. from stored fruit resulted in yield decrease compared to fruits after harvest; this was not in case of ‘Alexander Lucas’ in 2008, where juices produced from stored fruits were characterized by a higher yield compared to fresh fruit.Total solids content in clear juices was 125–135 g/L and 135–141 g/L for cloudy juices. ABTS●+ and total phenolics analysis showed that cloudy juices were characterized by a higher antioxidant activity and phenolics content than the clear ones.ConclusionPear storage, on the contrary to apples, does not decrease their suitability for cloudy juice production. Cloudy juices as a rule have higher antioxidant activity than the clear ones.  相似文献
