Multivariate curve resolution is proposed for the study of complex chemical reactions monitored by two-dimensional (2D) NMR spectroscopy. In particular, in this work, multivariate curve resolution is applied to the study of the reaction between (15)N-labeled cisplatin and the amino acid-nucleotide hybrid (Phac-Met-linker-p(5')dG). At several stages of the reaction, 2D [(1)H,(15)N] HSQC NMR spectra were acquired and stored in data matrices. In a first step, multivariate curve resolution was applied to analyze individually each one of these 2D spectra, allowing the resolution of the corresponding (1)H and (15)N one-dimensional correlation spectra. In a second step, the whole set of 2D spectra recorded along the reaction were simultaneously analyzed by multivariate curve resolution, allowing the resolution of the kinetic concentration profiles and of the pure 2D NMR spectra of each of the species detected along the reaction. Results finally obtained confirmed previously postulated reaction mechanisms involving the existence of two monofunctional adducts and of two bifunctional adducts, with the structure of one of them not completely resolved.  相似文献

Seventy five pregnancies where the presence of antepartum meconium was detected by transabdominal amniocentesis, were compared with 224 cases showing clear amniotic fluid (A.F.). The statistical differences were analized in terms of data of anamnesis, diseases complicating pregnancy, gestational age, fetal maturity diagnosis from the A.F. study, oxytocin test, labor characteristics, perinatal mortality and neurologic morbidity during the first nine months of life. The results suggest that the presence of antepartum meconium implies an increase in fetal risk, demanding an adequate analysis of the obstetric solutions, which is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper a new class-AB CMOS second generation current conveyor (CCII) based on a novel high-performance voltage follower topology is proposed. Post-layout simulation results from a 0.8 m design supplied at 3.3 V show very low resistance at node X (<50 ), high frequency operation (100 MHz), high precision in the voltage and current transference and reduced offset. As application examples, a V-I converter and a current feedback operational amplifier (CFOA) have been implemented. The latter presents slew-rate levels higher than ±100 V/s.  相似文献

The present work describes an optimization model for managing the recovery of residual products that originate at industrial plants. The framework for the proposed general network superstructure, where all possible process transformations, storage, transports and auxiliary operations are accounted for, is modeled using a maximal state task network representation. This framework is combined with the evaluation of a set of environmental impacts, quantified by metrics (for air, water pollution, etc.) through the minimum environment impact analysis methodology and is associated with waste generation at utility production and transportation levels. The final model is described as a mixed-integer linear programming model, which, once solved, is able to suggest the optimal processing and transport routes, while optimizing a given objective function and meeting design and environmental constraints. For each solution obtained, a stochastic flexibility index is computed, allowing for the drawing of trade-off curves for investment decision support.  相似文献

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is increasingly used to analyze wind turbines, and the next logical step is to develop CFD‐based optimization to enable further gains in performance and reduce model uncertainties. We present an aerodynamic shape optimization framework consisting of a Reynolds‐averaged Navier Stokes solver coupled to a numerical optimization algorithm, a geometry modeler, and a mesh perturbation algorithm. To efficiently handle the large number of design variables, we use a gradient‐based optimization technique together with an adjoint method for computing the gradients of the torque coefficient with respect to the design variables. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, we maximize the torque of the NREL VI wind turbine blade with respect to pitch, twist, and airfoil shape design variables while constraining the blade thickness. We present a series of optimization cases with increasing number of variables, both for a single wind speed and for multiple wind speeds. For the optimization at a single wind speed performed with respect to all the design variables (1 pitch, 11 twist, and 240 airfoil shape variables), the torque coefficient increased by 22.4% relative to the NREL VI design. For the multiple‐speed optimization, the torque increased by an average of 22.1%. Depending on the CFD mesh size and number of design variables, the optimization time ranges from 2 to 24h when using 256 cores, which means that wind turbine designers can use this process routinely. Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS), launched on 2 November 2009, is the first satellite mission addressing sea surface salinity (SSS) measurement from space. Its unique payload is the Microwave Imaging Radiometer using Aperture Synthesis (MIRAS), a new two-dimensional interferometer designed by the European Space Agency (ESA) and operating at the L-band frequency. This article presents a summary of SSS retrieval from SMOS observations and shows initial results obtained one year after launch. These results are encouraging, but also indicate that further improvements at various data processing levels are needed and hence are currently under investigation.  相似文献

Colostrum addition to milk for consumption is an unlawful practice. Furthermore, the higher whey protein/casein ratio of colostrum compared with milk causes severe technological problems. A high concentration of immunoglobulins has been generally accepted as an index of colostrum presence in milk. In this work, the levels of IgG have been determined by a non-competitive ELISA in 3,248 bulk bovine milk samples from different regions of Spain throughout one year. The mean value for IgG concentration obtained from all the samples was 0.257±0.122 mg/ml, within the range generally considered as acceptable for mature milk. The mean concentration obtained for all the samples collected in the spring was 0.288±0.125 mg/ml, significantly higher than the values found at the other seasons. The finding of some samples with very high values of IgG would suggest that the determination of immunoglobulin levels periodically would be a good parameter to control milk quality.  相似文献

The ability to temporarily maintain information in order to successfully perform a task is important in many daily activities. However, the ability to quickly and accurately update existing mental representations in distracting situations is also imperative in many of these same circumstances. In the current studies, individuals varying in working memory capacity (WMC) performed different varieties of go/no-go tasks that have been hypothesized to measure inhibitory ability. The results indicated that low-WMC individuals relative to high-WMC individuals showed worse performance specifically in certain conditions of the conditional go/no-go task. Further analyses showed that increasing the temporal lag/number of intervening items between the previous target and the current lure had a deleterious effect on the performance of the low-WMC group only. The results indicate a relationship between WMC and the ability to selectively update, maintain, and retrieve information, especially in interference-rich conditions. In this study, the authors investigated how salient visual features capture attention and facilitate detection of emotional facial expressions. In a visual search task, a target emotional face (happy, disgusted, fearful, angry, sad, or surprised) was presented in an array of neutral faces. Faster detection of happy and, to a lesser extent, surprised and disgusted faces was found both under upright and inverted display conditions. Inversion slowed down the detection of these faces less than that of others (fearful, angry, and sad). Accordingly, the detection advantage involves processing of featural rather than configural information. The facial features responsible for the detection advantage are located in the mouth rather than the eye region. Computationally modeled visual saliency predicted both attentional orienting and detection. Saliency was greatest for the faces (happy) and regions (mouth) that were fixated earlier and detected faster, and there was close correspondence between the onset of the modeled saliency peak and the time at which observers initially fixated the faces. The authors conclude that visual saliency of specific facial features--especially the smiling mouth--is responsible for facilitated initial orienting, which thus shortens detection.
