A new carbazole‐related small molecule exhibiting self‐assembly into ordered nanostructures in solution‐processed cast films has been synthesized and its charge‐photogeneration and ‐transport properties have been investigated. Large photoconductivity was measured in the amorphous state while an enormous improvement in the photoconduction properties was observed when the molecules spontaneously organized. Photocurrents increased upon self‐assembly by up to four orders of magnitude, mostly due to the drastic enhancement of the charge photogeneration. A greatly favorable arrangement of the aromatic cores in the resulting nanostructures, which were characterized by X‐ray analysis, may explain these improvements. Photocurrents of mA cm?2, on/off ratios of 104 and quantum efficiencies of unity at low field and light intensity, which are among the best values reported to date, along with the simplicity of fabrication, give this readily‐available organic system great potential for use in plastic optoelectronic devices. 相似文献

In 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) long term evolution (LTE) systems, when no resources has been assigned in the uplink to a given user equipment (UE), the control information associated with layers 1 and 2 in the protocol stack is conveyed back to the base station through the so-called physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). In PUCCH, the data streams transmitted by multiple UEs are multiplexed in the time-domain and in the frequency-domain with the aid of spreading codes. Although the spreading codes associated with UEs within the same cell can be assumed to be orthogonal, the presence of inter-cell interference (ICI) in multi-cell scenarios severely limits receiver performance. In particular, the Format 1 of PUCCH, which is associated with the transmission of hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgements (ACK/NACK) and scheduling requests, has a major impact on system performance, since an incorrectly decoded ACK/NACK message may introduce significant delay in data transmission. In this contribution, we propose a new multi-user receiver for ICI reduction in PUCCH LTE that operates both in cooperative and non-cooperative multi-cell architectures. The proposed receiver relies on a constrained tensor modeling of the received signal in PUCCH signaling, and affords an iterative joint channel estimation and symbol detection by simultaneously exploiting the energy of the data symbols and the pilot tones present in PUCCH. The formulation of the proposed algebraic receiver model incorporates symbol-basis hopping and slot-basis hopping signaling schemes, which are interference randomization techniques existing in the 3GPP specifications of LTE system. Bio‐inspired apatite nanoparticles precipitated in the presence of citrate ions at increasing maturation times are characterized in terms of structure, size, morphology, and composition through advanced X‐ray total scattering techniques. The origin of the platy crystal morphology, breaking the hexagonal symmetry, and the role of citrate ions is explored. By cross‐coupling the size and shape information of crystal domains with those obtained by atomic force microscopy on multidomain nanoparticles, a plausible mechanism underlying the amorphous‐to‐crystal transformation is reconstructed. In the present study, citrate plays the distinct roles of inducing the platy morphology of the amorphous precursor and controlling the thickness of the Ca‐deficient apatite nanocrystals. These findings can open new scenarios also in bone mineralization, where citrate might have a broader role to play than has been thought to date. 相似文献

We examined intracellular structures in the equatorial region of the muscle spindles of rat soleus muscles by scanning electron microscopy, paying particular attention to the ultrastructure of the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) beneath the sarcolemma. The subsarcolemmal SR was more developed in nuclear chain fibres than in nuclear bag fibres as was reported in the sleeve and extracapsular regions. In addition, the subsarcolemmal SR of the chain fibre formed a fenestrated sheet, whereas that of the bag fibre organized a layer of fenestrated bands beneath the sarcolemma where the sensory nerve endings are associated. No T-tubules were discerned in the subsarcolemmal SR of both fibres, which may be concerned with the little contraction of the equatorial region. 相似文献

This article addresses the simultaneous estimation of the azimuth and elevation angles of multiple co-channel signals incident upon an array of antennas. A new closed-form algorithm that is applicable with filled circular arrays (FCAs) is presented. The algorithm, which is called FCA-ESPRIT, is applicable with any FCA geometry, e.g., FCAs constructed using rectangular, hexagonal, polar, or random sampling lattices. The only constraint imposed on the FCA geometry is that the spacing between adjacent sensors should be half a wavelength or less on average across the entire aperture. The algorithm provides automatically paired azimuth and elevation angle estimates by solving a set of ESPRIT-like equations wherein the unknowns have the form sin(&thetas; i)ejφ(i) (where &thetas;i and φ i are the elevation and azimuth angles of the ith source, respectively). We present an experimental methodology that demonstrates the suitability of the conventional three-lumped- parameter model for gate impedance of MOSFET devices at frequencies from dc to the gigahertz range, which permits accurate extraction of model parameters. The parasitic effects at a high frequency are minimized by using radio frequency techniques (i.e., short return paths and de-embedding structures), whereas a robust parameter extraction algorithm overcomes possible instrument inaccuracies. When combined, these allow simultaneous extraction of all three parameters (i.e., Cgate, RDT and Rseries) from the model. The technique is applied to conventional SiO2 -based MOSFET devices and to ultraleaky HfO2 devices with aggressively scaled gate dielectric thickness. 相似文献

Effects of the via-hole implementation on radiation characteristics of a microstrip patch antenna are computed on an EM resolver based upon integral equations and numerically solved by moment method. Coaxial feed and via-holes are considered as integral parts of the antenna so that after an accurate modeling of the incident field, induced effects of the holes are naturally accounted for. Results show that for some locations, the via-hole effects on the radiation characteristics are negligeable. We investigated the influence of the growth rate on the quality of zero-net-strained InGaAsP/InGaAsP/InP multiquantum well
structures for 1.55 μm emission grown by low pressure metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy. The samples consisted of fixed compressive
strained wells (ɛ=+1%) and tensile strained barriers (ɛ=−0.5%) grown with different quaternary bandgap wavelengths (λB=1.1–1.4 μm). Using higher growth rates, we obtained for the first time high quality zero net strained multi quantum well
structures, regardless having constant group V composition in the well and barriers. The samples were analyzed by x-ray diffraction,
photoluminescence and atomic force microscopy techniques. The amplitude of surface modulation roughness along [011] direction
decreased from 20 nm to 0.53 nm with increasing growth rate and/or quaternary compositions grown outside the miscibility gap.
A new deep PL broad emission band strongly correlated with the onset of wavy layer growth is also reported. Broad area and
ridge waveguide lasers with 10 wells exhibited low losses (34 cm−1) and low threshold current densities at infinite cavity length (1020 A·cm−2 and 1190 A·cm−2, respectively). 相似文献

The synthesis and microstructural characterization, by means of selected area electron diffraction (SAED) and high resolution electron microscopy (HREM), of the solid solution LaBa(x)Sr(1-x)CuGaO5 (0.1 < or = 5 x < or = 0.9) is reported. Although an average brownmillerite Ima2 structure is proposed for the whole compositional range, SAED and HREM clearly show that structural defects appear as barium content increases. 相似文献
