Control over magnetite (Fe3O4) formation is difficult to achieve in synthetic systems without using non‐aqueous media and high temperatures. In contrast, Nature employs often intrinsically disordered proteins to tightly tailor the size, shape, purity, and organization of the nanocrystals to optimize their magnetic properties. Inspired by such “flexible polyelectrolytes,” here random copolypeptides having different amino acid compositions are used as control agents in the bioinspired coprecipitation of magnetite through a ferrihydrite precursor, following a recently developed mineralization protocol. Importantly, the copolypeptide library is designed such that the amino acid composition can be optimized to simultaneously direct the size of the nanoparticles as well as their dispersibility in aqueous media in a one‐pot manner. Acidic amino acids are demonstrated to regulate the crystal size by delaying nucleation and reducing growth. Their relative content thus can be balanced to tune between the superparamagnetic and ferrimagnetic regimes, and high contents of negatively charged amino acids result in colloidal stabilization of superparamagnetic nanoparticles at high pH. Conversely, with positively charged lysine‐rich copolypeptides ferrimagnetic crystals are obtained which are stabilized at neutral pH and self‐organize in chains, as visualized by cryo‐transmission electron microscopy. Altogether, the presented findings give important insights for the future development of additive‐mediated nanomaterial syntheses.  相似文献

We propose an algorithm for compensating the phase-shift error of polarization-based parallel two-step phase-shifting digital holography, which is a technique for recording a spatial two-step phase-shifted hologram. Although a polarization-based system of the technique has been experimentally demonstrated, there had been the problem that the phase difference of two phase-shifted holograms had been changed by the extinction ratio of the micropolarizer array attached to the image sensor used in the system. To improve the performance of the system, we established and formulated an algorithm for compensating the phase-shift error. Accurate spatial phase-shifting interferometry in the system can be conducted by the algorithm regardless of phase-shift error due to the extinction ratio. By the numerical simulation, the proposed algorithm was capable of reducing the root mean square errors of the reconstructed image by 1/4 and 1/5 in amplitude and phase, respectively. Also, the algorithm was experimentally demonstrated, and the experimental results showed that the system employing the proposed algorithm suppressed the conjugate image, which slightly appeared in the image reconstructed by the system not employing the algorithm, even when the extinction ratio was 10:1. Thus, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was numerically and experimentally verified.  相似文献

In general, diode rectifiers with electrolytic capacitors on the dc side have been used as dc power supplies for voltage-source inverters. Rectifiers of this type, however, cause many problems such as poor power factor and harmonics. Recently, voltage-source PWM rectifier-inverters have been studied to provide the following advantages: (1) harmonic-free on both ac sides; (2) unity power factor on the input ac side; (3) power flow of either direction or power regeneration; (4) reduction of the dc capacitor. However, it is difficult for a conventional voltage-source PWM rectifier-inverter to regulate the capacitor voltage on transient states because it has only a voltage feedback loop. This paper describes a voltage-source PWM rectifier-inverter with feedforward control of instantaneous power. Based on the pq theory, the instantaneous power which is calculated in the control circuit of the inverter is fed forward to the control circuit of the rectifier. The feedforward control of instantaneous power contributes greatly to sufficiently suppress voltage fluctuation of the dc capacitor on transient states. Transient characteristics are discussed, and some interesting experimental results of a laboratory model are shown.  相似文献

Summary The presence of Cr(CO)6 in nBuLi-initiated anionic polymerization of methyl methacrylates (MMA) was found to effectively enhance stereoselectivity of the polymerization in toluene at 0°C. nBuLi/Cr(CO)6 afforded an isotactic PMMA with 86 % of mm triad, and the polymers obtained with nBuLi/Cr(CO)6/tBuOK were rich in heterotactic structures (mr = ca. 54%). In both cases, the selectivity was improved in ca. 10% compared to those of the polymerization conducted under the similar conditions without Cr(CO)6. The sharp photoluminescence (PL) and optical-reflection spectra in the bandedge region of the high-quality nondoped ZnTe substrate (100) were observed at 4.2 K. Free exciton, associated with lower and upper polaritons (EXL and EXU) at 2.382 eV and 2.381 eV, respectively, were clearly observed. This meant that this substrate was high quality. The intensity of a bound exciton peak (2.375 eV), which is caused by a Zn vacancy, of a neutral acceptor decreased with an increase of the Zn vapor pressures.  相似文献

When manganese-bearing ferrites (Mn x Fe3- x O4-delta, with x = 0.17-1.09) were prepared in the present study via a solid-state reaction, manganese ions were incorporated into the lattice sites of the ferrites in the divalent state. The lattice constant ( a 0) of those ferrites increased linearly as the manganese composition x increased. A ferrite with x = 1.28 contained manganese ions with a valence state higher than 3+; however, no further increase in a 0 occurred at valences higher than 2+.  相似文献

The knock-out release of fission products is studied theoretically. The general equations of knock-out release are derived, assuming that a fission fragment passing through the surface of nuclear fuels knocks out a local region of the surface with an effective thickness and an effective cross-sectional area. Using these equations, the knock-out release of fission gases is calculated for various cases. The conditions under which the knock-out coefficients (the average number of uranium atoms knocked out by one fission fragment) is obtainable are clarified by experiments on the knock-out release of fission gases. A method of determining the effective thickness and the effective cross-sectional area of a knock-out region is proposed.  相似文献
