We prove the existence of a P-type (proportional-type) space-learning control, which, on the basis of a kinematic third order nonlinear model of an autonomous nonholonomic vehicle and by a proper choice of the proportional control gain, guarantees asymptotic tracking of planar curves whose uncertain curvature is LL-periodic in the curvilinear abscissa. The behavior of a human driver, who repetitively learns the correct action from the past experience in the space, is mathematically reproduced. A stability analysis is presented while simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented approach.  相似文献

This paper reports fabrication of 2-DOF vibratory gyroscope using SU-8 based UV-LIGA process. The device structure is designed to be symmetrical in order to match the resonance frequencies of drive and sense mode oscillators and also to minimize their relative temperature dependent drift. The overall arrangement is such that the two vibration modes do not affect each other and therefore, mechanical decoupling is achieved which helps in minimizing bias drift. The design is optimized to be compatible with the UV-LIGA process having 10 μm thick electroformed nickel as structural layer. Photolithography to create 11 μm thick SU-8 molds for electroforming sacrificial copper and structural nickel layer is optimized using multiple exposure technique that ensures near vertical side walls. Since the highly cross-linked SU-8 remaining after development is difficult to remove reliably from high aspect ratio structures without damage or alteration to the electroformed metals, a 2.45 GHz MW plasma etching process is developed with CF4/O2 mixes. The fabricated device is checked for off-plane misalignment between the stationary and movable comb fingers using white light interferometry and it is found to be almost negligible. Also, the prototype device is characterized for amplitude and phase spectral responses using Polytec MSA-500 Micro System Analyzer. The drive and sense mode resonance frequencies are observed at 7.3 and 7.1 kHz respectively against the mode matched designed frequency of 7.5 kHz.  相似文献

The patterns of the occurrence and distribution of alien freshwater turtle species in an urban pond archipelago (Rome, Italy) were analysed, with the aim of exploring the role of a set of factors (type of ponds, landscape context, size area, distance from the nearest road) with a generalized linear model approach. A total of 311 ponds subdivided in three types (fountains, small basins, lakes) embedded in different landscape contexts (public parks, private parks, urban areas) at differing distances from the nearest road were sampled. Six non‐native freshwater turtle species in 31 sites were recorded (9.97%). Lakes exhibited the highest occurrence rates of alien freshwater turtles, compared to small basins and fountains. Freshwater turtle species in urbanized areas were only observed in parks (both public and private). In both the public and private parks, the lakes exhibited the highest percentage of occupied sites, with fountains being the lowest. A direct and significant relationship was observed between pond size and species richness. The distance from the nearest road did not appear to affect species richness. A first interpretation of the data from this study facilitated the postulation of two a posteriori hypotheses that should be tested, as follows: (i) the causal process of turtle release is random, and the rate of extinction (and recapture) is higher in smaller ponds, thus producing the observed pattern; and (ii) the turtle release is not random, and people actively select the ponds they consider more suitable for their pet animals. In this study, it appears the lakes were perceived by those who abandon their pets as the most ecologically suitable habitats among other pond types to accommodate the different species of turtles. Knowledge of people's attitudes in regard to releasing pet animals also might assist managers of public green spaces to develop strategies aimed to preserve local biodiversity, and to educate the public about the conservation issue represented by the alien species.  相似文献

Summary The paper deals with the synthesis of the phenylazo-formamidoethyl 4-t-butylazo-4-cyanovalerate, a product which — by its two azo groups having different thermal stabilities — may be used in initiating processes of stepwise radicalic polymerization. The preparation is based on the condensation of the 4-t-butylazo-4-cyanovaleric acid chloride with N-hydroxy ethyl-phenylazoformamide (HEPF) in anhydrous chloroform, in the presence of pyridine. The initiator purification involves its passing over an alumina column, on using methylene chloride as eluent. HEPF is a new intermediate obtained by the reaction of the ethyl phenylazocarboxylate with ethanolamine. Both the HEPF structure and that of the bis-azo initiator is confirmed by elemental analysis and spectroscopic measurements (IR and H-NMR spectra), as well.  相似文献

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder which is characterized by transient and unexpected electrical disturbance of the brain. The electroencephalogram (EEG) is a commonly used signal for detection of epileptic seizures. This paper presents a new method for classification of ictal and seizure-free EEG signals. The proposed method is based on the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and the second-order difference plot (SODP). The EMD method decomposes an EEG signal into a set of symmetric and band-limited signals termed as intrinsic mode functions (IMFs). The SODP of IMFs provides elliptical structure. The 95% confidence ellipse area measured from the SODP of IMFs has been used as a feature in order to discriminate seizure-free EEG signals from the epileptic seizure EEG signals. The feature space obtained from the ellipse area parameters of two IMFs has been used for classification of ictal and seizure-free EEG signals using the artificial neural network (ANN) classifier. It has been shown that the feature space formed using ellipse area parameters of first and second IMFs has given good classification performance. Experimental results on EEG database available by the University of Bonn, Germany, are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe how to detect abnormal human activities taking place in an outdoor surveillance environment. Human tracks are provided in real time by the baseline video surveillance system. Given trajectory information, the event analysis module will attempt to determine whether or not a suspicious activity is currently being observed. However, due to real-time processing constrains, there might be false alarms generated by video image noise or non-human objects. It requires further intensive examination to filter out false event detections which can be processed in an off-line fashion. We propose a hierarchical abnormal event detection system that takes care of real time and semi-real time as multi-tasking. In low level task, a trajectory-based method processes trajectory data and detects abnormal events in real time. In high level task, an intensive video analysis algorithm checks whether the detected abnormal event is triggered by actual humans or not.  相似文献

In many studies on lipoxygenase catalysis, nonionic detergents are used to obtain an optically transparent solution of the fatty acid substrate. In order to resolve some controversies that exist with regard to the interpretation of kinetic data obtained with solutions containing nonionic detergents, a systematic investigation was undertaken into the effects of Lubrol, Tween-20 and Triton X-100 (0–0.8 g/L) on the kinetics of linoleate (2.5–110 μM) dioxygenation, catalyzed by lipoxygenase-1 or lipoxygenase-2 from soybean, at pH 9 or 10, at 25°C. Under most conditions, it was found that the detergents slowed down the reaction. However, at high linoleate concentrations, where substrate inhibition of lipoxygenase is significant, small amounts of detergent increased the dioxygenation rate. In a quantitative analysis of the results, a kinetic model in which the incorporation of linoleate in the detergent micelles is formulated as a simple reversible equilibrium, and in which both lipoxygenase-1 and-2 interact with free linoleate, but not with linoleate incorporated in the micelles, appeared to be sufficient to predict experimental results over a wide range of experimental conditions. According to this model, the changes in the dioxygenation kinetics caused by the presence of nonionic detergents are similar (but not equal) to those caused by competitive inhibitors. The conclusions that monomeric, nonmicellar linoleate is the preferred substrate for lipoxygenase and that the observed inhibition and stimulation are solely due to changes in the effective linoleate concentration strongly corroborate the earlier observations by Galpin and Allen [Biochim. Biophys. Acta 488 (1977), 392–401].  相似文献

Two samples of poly(diethoxyphosphazene) (PDEP) having very different molecular weights have been studied by viscometry and size exclusion chromatography in THF solution. The results obtained, together with light scattering data of these samples, allow the calculation of the Mark-Houwink constants a=0.65 and K=2.5 10-4 in THF at 25°C. The method of calculation employed takes into account the great polydispersity of the samples. The characteristic ratio of the unperturbed dimensions was also calculated giving Cn = r2o/n2 18, a value slightly higher than those previously reported for poly(dihexoxyphosphazene), Cn13 and poly (dichlorophosphazene), Cn13.5.  相似文献
