Long code Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum is a good choice for applications where security and antispoofing ability of a spread spectrum connection is concerned. Due to long period of spreading code, acquisition is a challenge for these systems because a trade‐off between detection probability and acquisition time must be made. For confronting this challenge, various algorithms were proposed in the literature but almost all of them focus on expediting the coarse acquisition. In this paper, we consider the efficient dual folding algorithm for coarse acquisition level and propose 3 methods for enhancing the fine acquisition level leading to faster execution of overall acquisition algorithm. The methods are based on estimations from coarse acquisition level that are not used in conventional algorithms for fine acquisition, ie, zero padding. Theoretical expressions of 2 main comparison criteria in acquisition algorithms, ie, detection probability and mean acquisition time, are derived for conventional zero padding and each of the proposed method. Besides, a coarse estimate of resource consumption is provided by the number of floating point operations for each algorithm to make a useful comparison. Considering these 3 parameters, in comparison, the proposed methods surpass zero padding in 1, 2, or all of the 3 aspects. Simulation agrees well with analytical results.  相似文献

A new design of the dual-band and dual-polarized base station antennas for supporting the mobile communication systems operating at the GSM/DCS/PCS/UMTS and LTE frequency bands is presented. A wide input impedance matching bandwidth is achieved due to a trident-shaped feeding technique. Two printed dipoles, which are located perpendicularly to each other and fed by stepped-microstrip lines, establish the proposed antenna. In addition, by locating a low-profile cavity-backed structure, as a metal reflector under the antenna, bidirectional radiations of the dipoles are switched to unidirectional radiations with an increase in the gain of the antenna. Measurement results indicate that the proposed antenna is suitable for base station applications at the operating frequencies of 800/900/1800/1900/2300 MHz. The isolation is better than 20 dB, and peak gains of 10.08 and 9.96 dBi are attained at port-1 and port-2, respectively. Furthermore, the HPBWs of the antenna in H-plane is more than 61° for each port. The overall dimension of the antenna is 168 × 168 mm2, which is mounted upon a 222 × 222 mm2 cavity-backed structure with a depth of 42 mm.  相似文献

Monitoring adhesives during manufacturing and their lifetime has become increasingly important due to the variety of materials and applications. Impedance spectroscopy is a suitable method for online monitoring of the curing process. We present a miniaturised interdigital structure to monitor the curing process of the adhesives using impedance spectroscopy. Compared to other sensors, our sensor is ultrathin, so that it disappears in the adhesive joint. Therefore, it can remain in the joint and be used for lifetime monitoring. In addition it is suitable for thin adhesive layers due to its fine grid. We demonstrate that the impedance of the sensor embedded in the adhesive gives insight into the curing mechanisms. Therefore monitoring of a dispersion and an epoxy is shown. In addition, the curing cycles can be reliably controlled using this monitoring method. The permittivity of the adhesives is extracted from the impedance measurements, applying analytical models of the electrical field of the interdigital structure.  相似文献

Low-temperature wet chemical bath deposition (CBD) method is one of the most efficient and least hazardous solution-based techniques which is widely employed to grow ZnO NRs. In CBD method, a seed layer is usually deposited on the substrate. In this paper, high quality ZnO and aluminum doped ZnO (AZO) seed layers are sputtered on the indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass. In continue, aligned ZnO NRs are grown on the AZO and ZnO seed layers via CBD technique. The effect of the growth time and seed layer on the physical properties of as-grown ZnO NRs are investigated. According to the results, the seed layer plays an essential role on the growth orientation and growth rate of the ZnO NRs. The ZnO NRs grown on AZO seed layer are more aligned rather than ZnO seed layer due to their higher texture coefficients. The relative photoluminescence (PL) intensity ratio of near band emission (NBE) to deep level emission (DLE) (INBE/IDLE) for the ZnO NRs grown on AZO and ZnO seed layers are calculated as 7.45 and 2.62, respectively. To investigate the performance of the as-grown ZnO NRs, near ultraviolet organic light-emitting diodes (UV-OLEDs) using ZnO NRs array as n-type material and poly [2-methoxy-5-(2-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene-vinylene] (MEH-PPV) conjugated polymer as p-type material have been fabricated. The total concentration of traps (Nt), the characteristic energies (Et) and the turn-on voltages for the devices with the structures of ITO/AZO/ZnO NRs/MEH-PPV/Al (device A) and ITO/ZnO/ZnO NRs/MEH-PPV/Al (device B) are attained 7.65 × 1016 and 7.75 × 1016 cm?3, 0.232 and 0.206 eV, 23 and 21 V, respectively. Moreover, based on the electroluminescence (EL) spectra, the NBE peaks for device A and B are obtained nearly in the wavelengths of 382 and 388 nm, respectively. Finally, various charge carrier transportation processes of prepared UV-OLEDs have been studied, systematically.  相似文献

The interaction of 1, 10-phenanthroline octhyldithiocarbamato palladium(II) nitrate ([Pd(Oct-dtc)(phen)]NO3) with human serum albumin (HSA) has been investigated by various spectroscopic techniques under physiological conditions. Here, HSA was titrated with the Pd(II) complex, followed by UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy to estimate a binding constant (Kb) and other thermodynamic parameters. The results indicate that the Pd (II) complex has a high affinity for bind HSA. Thermodynamic analysis showed that the enthalpy (ΔH°) and entropy changes (ΔS°) are positive and Gibbs free energy change (ΔG°) is negative which indicated that hydrophobic interactions played the predominant role in the binding process. Fluorescence spectroscopy were used to show the mechanism and binding parameters of this interaction. Utilizing the Stern–Volmer equation, the Pd(II) complex quenched the intrinsic fluorescence of HSA via a static quenching procedure. The specific binding distances between the tryptophan (donor) proteins and Pd(II) complex (acceptor) were estimated by Forster resonance energy transfer. The CD results also showed the conformational changes on serum albumin upon binding with the Pd(II) complex.  相似文献

Impaired wound healing in people with diabetes has multifactorial causes, with insufficient neovascularization being one of the most important. Hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-1) plays a central role in the hypoxia-induced response by activating angiogenesis factors. As its activity is under precise regulatory control of prolyl-hydroxylase domain 2 (PHD-2), downregulation of PHD-2 by small interfering RNA (siRNA) could stabilize HIF-1α and, therefore, upregulate the expression of pro-angiogenic factors as well. Intracellular delivery of siRNA can be achieved with nanocarriers that must fulfill several requirements, including high stability, low toxicity, and high transfection efficiency. Here, we designed and compared the performance of layer-by-layer self-assembled siRNA-loaded gold nanoparticles with two different outer layers—Chitosan (AuNP@CS) and Poly L-arginine (AuNP@PLA). Although both formulations have exactly the same core, we find that a PLA outer layer improves the endosomal escape of siRNA, and therefore, transfection efficiency, after endocytic uptake in NIH-3T3 cells. Furthermore, we found that endosomal escape of AuNP@PLA could be improved further when cells were additionally treated with desloratadine, thus outperforming commercial reagents such as Lipofectamine® and jetPRIME®. AuNP@PLA in combination with desloratadine was proven to induce PHD-2 silencing in fibroblasts, allowing upregulation of pro-angiogenic pathways. This finding in an in vitro context constitutes a first step towards improving diabetic wound healing with siRNA therapy.  相似文献

New polyamide 66/graphene oxide (GO)-grafted aliphatic-aromatic polyamide (polyamide-imide) (PAI) (PA66/GOF) composites nanofibers were successfully prepared via electrospinning method for the first time. An polyamide imide (PAI) was synthesized using polycondensation reaction from a dicarboxylic acid and a diamine based on 4,4′-(4,4′-isopropylidenediphenyl-1,1′-diyldioxy) dianiline, and characterized by 1HNMR and FTIR. Morphological, structural, thermal and mechanical characteristics of the nanocomposite fibers were investigated by means of SEM, TEM, WAXD, DMTA and TGA techniques. Composites nanofibers of PA66/GO, PA66/PAI and PA66/GOF with smooth surface, uniform structure as well as with diameter ranging from 195 to 784 nm were obtained. The GO incorporation caused a reduction in the nanofibers diameters. The TEM images showed that the GO was well dispersed in the PA66 nanofibers without significant aggregation. An approximately 10 °C temperature increase in the glass transition temperature of PA66 was achieved by addition of 0.5 wt% of PAI, resulting from aliphatic-aromatic structure of PAI. By the TGA results, an increase about 40 °C was observed in the thermal stability of PA66/PAI composite nanofibers in comparison with that of pure PA66 nanofibers.  相似文献
