HIGHT is a lightweight block cipher introduced in CHES 2006 by Hong et al as a block cipher suitable for low‐resource applications. In this paper, we propose improved impossible differential and biclique attacks on HIGHT block cipher both exploiting the permutation‐based property of the cipher's key schedule algorithm as well as its low diffusion. For impossible differential attack, we found a new 17‐round impossible differential characteristic that enables us to propose a new 27‐round impossible differential attack. The total time complexity of the attack is 2120.4 where an amount of 259.3 chosen plaintext‐ciphertext pairs and 2107.4 memory are required. We also instantiate a new biclique cryptanalysis of HIGHT, which is based on the new idea of splitting each of the forward and backward keys into 2 parts where the computations associated to each one are performed independently. The time complexity and data complexity of this attack are 2125.7 and 242, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, this is the fastest biclique attack on full‐round HIGHT.  相似文献

Polyurethane polymers are a wide class of materials, ranging from surface coatings and adhesives to flexible or rigid foams. However, polyurethanes in general are very flammable and produce heavy smoke when burning. As a result of their flammability, there is a great interest in the development of materials with improved fire retardance. In this study a series of new ferrocene urethane block copolymers based on diphenylmethane‐4,4′‐diisocyanate were synthesized and their fire retardant behavior studied using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry, cone calorimetry, and the oxygen index. Ferrocene‐modified block copolyurethanes showed a 40–80% reduction in peak heat release rate compared to an unmodified sample. In addition, the TGA results showed that ferrocene‐modified polymers have high thermal stability and ferrocene enhances char formation in air and helium. The synergistic effect of silicone and phosphorus with ferrocene was also discussed. The solution electrochemical behavior of ferrocene‐containing polymers was studied using cyclic voltammetry. These polymers showed a reversible wave at E° ≈ 0.771–0.852 V and the electron transfer was diffusion controlled. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 76: 1847–1856, 2000  相似文献

Three different molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for drug delivery of diclofenac in gastrointestinal tract were synthesized employing bulk polymerization method and their binding and release properties were studied in different pH values. Methacrylic acid (MAA), methacrylamide (MAAM) and 4-vinyl pyridine (4VP) were tested as functional monomers and ethylene glycole dimethacrylate (EDMA) was used as a cross-linker monomer in polymeric feed. Binding properties and imprinting factor (IF) of MIPs were studied in comparison with their non-imprinted ones (Blank) in organic and aqueous media. Diclofenac release in aqueous solvents at pH values of 1.5, 6.0 and 8.0, simulating gastrointestinal fluids, were also studied. The results indicated the specific binding of diclofenac to imprinted polymers. Duo to the stronger non-specific bounds in aqueous solutions, IF values decreased in water compared to acetonitrile as an organic medium. Our results proved that all polymers represented pH-responsive diclofenac delivery at above conditions. The data showed that imprinted polymer, prepared by MAA had superior properties, in comparison with other polymers, for minimum release (14%) of drug in gastric acid and maximum release (90%) in basic condition. The results indicated that diclofenac imprinted polymer could be used as a pH-responsive matrix in preparation of a new drug delivery system for diclofenac.  相似文献

Methadone hydrochloride is a narcotic drug used to relieve chronic pain and control withdrawal symptoms in people undergoing detoxification for opiate addiction, but poses some limits. To reduce the limits and increase the drug’s effectiveness, supramolecular hydrogels composed of α-CD (α-cyclodextrin) and PCL/PEG (polycaprolactone/polyethylene glycol) copolymers, which gained attention due to their advantages, were chosen in this study as controlled-release formulations. PCL/PEG/PCL and PCL/PEG copolymers were synthesized by a microwave-assisted method and then supramolecular hydrogels were prepared by mixing the solutions of copolymers/drug and α-CD to make a methadone hydrochloride sustained-release system. Effects of the drug, copolymer, and α-CD concentrations and copolymer structure on gelation time were also investigated. The systems had rheological properties that depended on copolymer construction and component concentrations. The microwave-assisted method provides an accelerated synthesis of the copolymers with yield of 57 % and low level of impurities. The supramolecular hydrogels demonstrated shear thinning and thixotropic behavior and regained their networks quickly after passing through a fine needle. Due to the porous construction of supramolecular hydrogels, they swell in the presence of fluids and absorb large quantities of water, thereby making the system comprehensively biocompatible. In this study, supramolecular hydrogels composed of α-CD with tri- and di-block copolymers were investigated and found to have rheological properties that depended on copolymer construction and component concentrations. Changing one parameter alone like copolymer or α-CD concentration or the length of blocks could not significantly affect on the drug release, but combination of these factors was efficient. Results of the present study indicated that supramolecular hydrogels composed of α-CD and PCL/PEG copolymers are appropriate drug delivery systems that can release methadone hydrochloride in a sustained manner.  相似文献

A novel design for compact probe-fed wideband microstrip patch antenna for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications is proposed in this paper. The antenna consists of a folded ramp-shaped feed, trapezoidal patch and shorting pins. By adding two pins at end side of the patch, its size is miniaturized. The measured impedance bandwidth (VSWR  $\le $  2) of fabricated antenna is more than 130 % from 3.7 to 17.6 GHz. This antenna achieves an acceptable miniaturization and provides an excellent UWB impedance bandwidth with stable radiation patterns. It is shown by simulated results how the bandwidth can be considerably increased by introducing novel feeding method namely, the folded ramp-shaped feed. Likewise, the parametric study is performed to describe the characteristics of the proposed antenna. Moreover, good antenna performances such as radiation patterns, acceptable miniaturization and antenna gains over the operating band have been observed.  相似文献

Considering the importance of urea–formaldehyde (UF) resins in the wood industry, this work reports on a new bio-based modification of UF resins. The use of 5-hydroxymethyl furfural (HMF) is motivated by the current concerns about the effects of formaldehyde on human health. UF and urea–HMF–formaldehyde (UHF) resins were synthesized by an alkaline-acid method and characterized by FTIR, thermogravimetric analysis, and differential scanning calorimetry. The UHF, as a newly modified polymeric resin, was thermally characterized, and it was found that its thermo-stability and char yield was improved. In order to investigate the performance of the UHF, the preparation of particleboards with the UHF as adhesive, as well as its film formation ability have been studied. The UHF films formed on wood panels were uniform without any crack. Film formation ability of the UHF resin was improved due to the presence of more hydroxyl groups as well as furan rings of the HMF moieties resulting in more activated groups to be bonded by wood. Furthermore, formaldehyde release of the particleboards bonded by UHF was significantly lower than that of which bonded by the UF resin. Lab particleboards using the UHF resins showed higher modulus of rupture, modulus of elasticity, and internal bond compared to boards with UF resins, as well as lower water absorption and thickness swelling. Based on these results UHF resin can be considered as a possible candidate as adhesive for wood and wood based panels.  相似文献

The expression of the neural cell adhesion molecule L1 is altered by neuronal activity and promotes neurite outgrowth in vitro. To study the effects of L1 on learning and synaptic plasticity, transgenic mice have been created which express L1 ectopically in glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) expressing astrocytes. Ninety mice, including GFAP-L1-transgenic mice from two genetic backgrounds and their littermates, were tested for swimming navigation learning in the Morris water maze according to a standardized protocol. While learning the position of an invisible target platform and also relearning its position after relocation, GFAP-L1-transgenic mice spent a greater fraction of their swim time in the target quadrant. Moreover, they showed a more rapid improvement of escape performance during the first day of training. Factor analysis revealed that this difference in swimming pattern could not be explained by non-cognitive factors. Factor analysis also revealed that, during a probe trial, the GFAP-L1-transgenic mice spent comparatively less time in the old target quadrant than predicted by the increased searching they had shown during acquisition learning. Hence, ectopic expression of L1 by astrocytes in mice appears to be linked to a factor which increases behavioural flexibility and selectivity while learning and relearning, but concomitantly may lead to a relative reduction of spatial retention.  相似文献

Many smart grid applications need broadcast communications. Because of the critical role of the broadcasted messages in these applications, their authentication is very important to prevent message forgery attacks. Smart grid consists of plenty of low‐resource devices such as smart meters or phasor measurement units (PMUs) that are located in physically unprotected environments. Therefore, the storage and computational constraints of these devices as well as their security against physical attacks must be considered in designing broadcast authentication schemes. In this paper, we consider two communication models based on the resources of the broadcasters and receivers and propose a physical unclonable function (PUF)–based broadcast authentication scheme for each of them including Broadcast Authentication with High‐Resource Broadcaster (BA‐HRB) and Broadcast Authentication with Low‐Resource Broadcaster (BA‐LRB). We formally prove that both schemes are unforgeable and memory leakage resilient. Moreover, we analyze the performance of our proposed schemes and compare them with related works. The comparison results demonstrate a significant improvement in the storage and computational overhead of our schemes compared with the related works.  相似文献

Modified bentonites were used for the oxidation of H2S into elemental sulfur. Active phases such as iron and cobalt sulfide were added to supports Cloisite 30B and 15A. The produced nano adsorbents were characterized by X-Ray diffraction, ICP, BET surface area and SEM. Selective oxidation of H2S was carried out over the nano adsorbent in the experimental setup. The tests were performed at 70 and 180 °C, under atmospheric pressure and in the presence of 5,000 ppm of H2S in the inlet gas stream. The results confirmed the increase in the distribution of active metals and activity of Cloisite 30B, in comparison with Cloisite 15A. Cobalt-containing support showed significant improvement in the capacity of H2S removal, and in the outlet stream less than 50 ppm of H2S was detected.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: A variety of lactose imprinted hydrogels were prepared and their binding properties were studied in comparison with blank non‐imprinted hydrogel. Methacrylamide and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate were used as functional monomer and cross‐linker, respectively. Dimethylsulfoxide was also applied as polymerisation solvent. RESULTS: Different template/monomer ratios were studied and the optimised imprinted hydrogel (MIP2), with a lactose/methacrylamide ratio of 1:8, was selected in a rebinding test. In Scatchard analysis of MIP2‐lactose interactions, the dissociation constant and maximum binding sites were 0.33 mmol L?1 and 67.76 µmol g?1 hydrogel, respectively. The selectivity of MIP2 for lactose in aqueous media was also evaluated in comparison with different mono‐ and disaccharides. The data showed that the affinity of MIP2 for lactose is significantly higher than other saccharides. The imprinted hydrogel was finally used as a sorbent for separation of lactose from milk. CONCLUSIONS: The results indicated that MIP2, as an optimised imprinted hydrogel, can effectively bind lactose and decrease its concentration in milk.
