Effect of ozone therapy on hemostatic changes in patients with vascular atherosclerosis

Hemostatic changed induced by ozone therapy were studied in 81 patients with atherosclerosis of different vessels in 81 patients. It was found that use of ozone-oxygen mixtures leads to hypocoagulatory changes (diminution of platelet aggregation, lowering of fibrinogen concentration, prolongation of activated partial thromboplastin time, enhanced fibrinolytic activity) which contribute to clinical response.     

Studies on subcellular fractions of human platelets by the lactoperoxidase-iodination technique

The iron-saturated and iron-free (apo) forms of bovine transferrin and lactoferrin were digested with trypsin and the digests analysed by column chromatography and electrophoresis. Both of the iron-saturated proteins were more resistant to proteolysis than the corresponding apoproteins, and iron-transferrin was more resistant than iron-lactoferrin. Digestion of iron-transferrin yielded two iron-binding fragments with molecular weights of 32 000 and 38 500 whereas apotransferrin yielded only the larger fragment. In digests of lactoferrin, up to five different fragments with molecular weights ranging from 25 000 to 52 700 were detected, there being no obvious qualitative difference between digests of iron-lactoferrin and apolactoferrin. The susceptibility of apolactoferrin to tryptic digestion was only slightly reduced when apolactoferrin was complexed with beta-lactoglobulin, suggesting that complex-formation is not a mechanism for protecting lactoferrin against intestinal degradation. There was no immunological cross reaction between bovine transferrin or its digestion products against anti-lactoferrin antiserum, or vice-versa.     

Uterine norepinephrine levels as related to plasma and tissue progesterone in pseudopregnant rabbits

Pseudopregnancy was induced in rabbits by a single iv injection of 100 IU of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG). Uterine norepinephrine, located exclusively in adrenergic nerves, was markedly reduced (fluorometric determinations) during the first 6 days of pseudopregnancy and then returned towards pre-injection values. Plasma progesterone (measured by radioimmunoassay) was found to be elevated at days 3,6, and 12 of pseudopregnancy as compared to the very low values of the untreated controls. Although tissue progesterone also increased during pseudopregnancy (fourfold at day 6), there was a somewhat paradoxical relationship between plasma and tissue progesterone. In spite of unchanged plasma levels, tissue progesterone decreased considerably between days 6 and 12. The uterine/plasma progesterone ratio was very high (approximately 28) in non-pregnant (control) animals and ranged between 1 and 3 during pseudopregnancy. These results suggest that there is a causal relationship between the high levels of progesterone in the uterus and the reduced amount of norepinephrine transmitter in the adrenergic nerves in this organ, and that plasma progesterone concentration and the changing progesterone receptor levels regulate uterine progesterone concentration.     

微观组织对7075铝合金的屈服强度和抗应力腐蚀性能的影响

利用透射电子显微术研究了7075铝合金在T6,CgS3和T73状态的微观组织,并讨论了组织结构与强度和应力腐蚀抗力(SCR)的关系.结果表明,影响合金性能的主要因素是基体析出相(MPt)的密度、尺寸和类型,在CgS3状态,MPt主要为η′过渡相,其密度约5×10~(16)/cm~3,尺寸5—7nm,合金的强度和SCR综合性能较佳.作者认为这应归因于位错绕过η′粒子的几率增大.     

改进涤纶短纤维集束架的工艺设计

分析和探讨了涤纶短纤维集束架的现状,针对常规集束环节的各种不合理性,提出改进初生纤维集束走向和增设喷淋上油部位的工艺设计,以期提高初生纤维承受的预张力和含油水率的均匀性。这对减少集束过程中纤维的毛丝、纠结和单丝破断,亦具有积极的作用。
