The competent delivery of mental health services to Spanish-speaking clients requires knowledge of Latino cultures, racial and ethnic identity development, variables that impact service delivery, and the Spanish language. We present the Psychological Services for Spanish Speaking Populations (PSSSP) program as a model for training mental health professionals to deliver services to Spanish-speaking clients. The goals for the program were to improve participants' oral and written Spanish language proficiency in work-related contexts and to improve multicultural competence in service delivery to Latino clients. Recommendations for those who wish to offer similar programs include (a) grouping trainees according to Spanish language proficiency, (b) using Spanish language instructors with expertise in teaching heritage language learners, and (c) developing criterion references or measures to assess program outcomes. The mesial temporal and lateral frontal lobes were the most common sites of parenchymal abnormality on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans for 12 patients with chronic traumatic brain injury (TBI). Ventricular widening was also common, and 3 patients showed increased size of the upper third ventricle. Of 10 right-handed TBI patients with no evidence of learning disability, 6 showed dominant temporal lesions and 3 showed an increase in the size of the upper third ventricle. Only patients with dominant temporal lesions (4 of 6) exceeded the normal confidence interval (based on 20 non-TBI controls) for intrusion errors on delay trials of the California Verbal Learning Test (CVLT), though other patients also demonstrated impaired recall. The pattern of increased intrusions during CVLT delay trials was confirmed in non-TBI patients who had undergone dominant temporal surgery or had dominant or bilateral temporal lesions, even when frontal changes could be ruled out. 为了查明渤海湾盆地渤南洼陷沙河街组二段沉积相分布与演化规律,为油气勘探寻找接替区,在岩心、测井、录井及地震综合研究的基础上,对沙河街组二段进行了砂层组划分与对比,进而圈定了各个时期沉积相的展布范围并总结了沉积演化规律。研究结果表明:渤南洼陷沙二段可划分为4个砂层组,各砂组依次向南逐层超覆,沉积范围不断扩大。洼陷周缘凸起带附近主要发育扇三角洲前缘沉积,以水下分流河道微相为主;其次为河口砂坝与水下分流间湾。洼陷内部以滨浅湖滩坝为主,按其成因可分为正常砂质滩坝、砂岩-碳酸盐岩混积型滩坝以及风暴成因滩坝三类,不同类型砂坝分布规律各不相同。沙二段整体呈湖盆不断扩张、沉积范围不断扩大、扇三角洲分布减少而滩坝沉积规模不断扩大的沉积演化特征。 相似文献

This review focuses on advanced materials already used and suitable for application in (future) lunar extravehicular activity space suits. A historical and current literature/market survey is presented. Different functional layers of an astronaut garment are defined with emphasis on the external layers subjected to abrasive action of lunar regolith and degradation via exposure to space radiation/vacuum environment. Requirements are defined that would need to be fulfilled by these layers and suitable materials candidates are reviewed based on their key properties, including mechanical durability. The aggregation of amyloid-β 42 (Aβ42) is directly related to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. Here, we have investigated the early stages of the aggregation process, during which most of the cytotoxic species are formed. Aβ42 aggregation kinetics, characterized by the quantification of Aβ42 monomer consumption, were tracked by real-time solution NMR spectroscopy (RT-NMR) allowing the impact that low-molecular-weight (LMW) inhibitors and modulators exert on the aggregation process to be analysed. Distinct differences in the Aβ42 kinetic profiles were apparent and were further investigated kinetically and structurally by using thioflavin T (ThT) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), respectively. LMW inhibitors were shown to have a differential impact on early-state aggregation. Insight provided here could direct future therapeutic design based on kinetic profiling of the process of fibril formation. 相似文献

Li–CO2 battery provides a new strategy to simultaneously solve the problems of energy storage and greenhouse effect. However, the severe polarization of CO2 reduction and CO2 evolution reaction impede the practical application. Herein, anodic TiO2 nanotube arrays are first introduced as carbon-free and free-standing cathode for photo-assisted Li–CO2 battery, and the photo-assisted charge and discharge mechanism is first clarified from the perspective of photocatalysis. Mixed-phase TiO2 exhibits a long cycling life of 580 h (52 cycles) at 0.025 mA cm−2 and delivers a high discharge specific capacity of 3001 µAh cm−2 under UV illumination. The charge voltage dramatically reduces from 4.53 to 3.03 V under UV illumination. The improvement of photo-assisted Li–CO2 battery performance relies on the synergistic effect of the hierarchical porous structure, strong UV absorption, efficient separation, and transfer of photo-generated electrons and holes at hetero-phase junction, and the facilitation of photo-generated electrons and holes on CO2 reduction and CO2 evolution reaction. This work can provide useful guidance for designing efficient photocathode for photo-assisted Li–CO2 battery and other metal–air batteries. 相似文献

In recent years, although light-driven soft actuators have attracted intense scientific attention and achieved remarkable progress, the design and construction of an intelligent robotic system with maneuverability, self-adaptability, untethered control, and greater freedom of action, in particular the omnidirectional motion capability on a plane, remains challenging. Herein, four types of photo-thermal fillers and an unprecedented twist-bend actuation mode is introduced into a liquid crystal elastomer-based soft robot. The obtained twist-bend crawling robot not only exhibits in situ rotation, four-way turning, and four-way linear motion under light irradiation with four wavelength bands (520, 655, 808, and 980 nm), but also demonstrates the ability to avoid obstacles in complex geographical environments. This work may bring a new perspective for fabrication and development of soft robots that can adapt to dynamic and complex environmental conditions. 相似文献

半导体开关是影响电压源整流器VSR(voltage source rectifier)系统整体故障率的重要因素。为此,提出一种基于电流畸变特性的三相开路故障诊断系统,该系统由诊断模块、寄存器模块和决策模块组成。诊断模块使用滞环比较器来判断电流的变化趋势,从而诊断开路OC(open-circuit)故障;寄存器模块用于实现多开关OC故障诊断;决策模块用于输出最终结果。实验结果表明,该方法能够正确实现包括6种单开关故障和15种不同的双开关故障在内的故障诊断,故障诊断准确性好。此外,所提方法在负载突变、不同功率因数、电网电压不平衡和畸变以及不同的交流滤波器结构条件下均具有良好的抗干扰性能和较强的鲁棒性,平均诊断时间仅为3.68 ms。 相似文献
