DNA typing of HLA-DRB1 genes was conducted for 192 samples from the Gidra who speak one of the non-Austronesian languages and inhabit the southern lowlands of New Guinea. Comparison of the allele frequencies with those of eight other Oceanian populations reveals that the Gidra are genetically closest to the non-Austronesian-speaking Goroka and, next, to the Aboriginal Australian groups, but are remote from the Austronesian-speaking groups in mainland New Guinea and the rest of Melanesia. This finding clearly supports the hypothesis that non-Austronesians and Aboriginal Australians are descendants of the first-stage migrants to Oceania. 相似文献

Milk and milk products are the most important group of food which carries aflatoxin to the people. Therefore, the existence of aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) in milk is a potential risk for public health. AFM1 existence in milk and milk products was found in studies performed in Turkey. In this study, aflatoxin contamination was detected in 48 raw milk and 48 feed samples. Milk and feed samples, in which the positive sample rate was determined as 24%, included different levels of aflatoxin. Altogether, 20 raw milk samples (41.67%) and 15 feed samples (31.25%) contained over the level of legal limits established by the Turkish Food Codex (TFC) and the European Communities (EC) regulation in positive samples. According to these results, the milk and feed samples collected from this area constitute a potential risk for public health. The most effective way of controlling aflatoxin M1 in milk is to reduce the contamination of aflatoxin in raw milk and feed samples. Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is an emerging trend where vehicles communicate with each other and possibly with a roadside unit to assist various applications like monitoring, managing and optimizing the transportation system. Collaboration among vehicles is significant in VANET. Resource constraint is one of the great challenges of VANETs. Because of the absence of centralized management, there is pitfall in optimal resource allocation, which leads to ineffective routing. Effective reliable routing is quite essential to achieve intelligent transportation. Stochastic dynamic programming is currently employed as a tool to analyse, develop and solve network resource constraint and allocation issues of resources in VANET. We have considered this work as a geographical-angular-zone-based two-phase dynamic resource allocation problem with a homogeneous resource class. This work uses a stochastic dynamic programming algorithm based on relaxed approximation to generate optimal resource allocation strategies over time in response to past task completion status history. The second phase resource allocation uses the observed outcome of the first phase task completion to provide optimal viability in resulting decisions. The proposed work will be further extended for the scenario that deals with heterogeneous resource class.
