Current Internet of Things (IoT) development requires service distribution over Wireless Sensor and Actor Networks (WSAN) to deal with the drastic increasing of network management complexity. Because of the specific constraints of WSAN, some limitations can be observed in centralized approaches. Multi-hop communication used by WSAN introduces transmission latency, packet errors, router congestion and security issues. As it uses local services, a model of decentralized services avoids long path communications between nodes and applications. But the two main issues are then to design (1) the composition of such services and to map (2) them over the WSAN. This contribution proposes a model for decentralized services based on Resource Oriented Architecture in which their communications are designed thanks to an adaptation of Petri Network (1). In addition, the problem of decentralized service mapping and its deployment over a WSAN is successfully resumed by a Pseudo-Boolean Optimization in order to minimize network communication load (2). These contributions are presented using a proposed EMMA middleware as unifying thread.  相似文献

Tissue electrical impedance is a function of its architecture and has been used to differentiate normal and cancer tissues in a variety of organs including breast, cervix, skin, and bladder. This paper investigates the possibility of differentiating normal and malignant prostate tissue using bioimpedance spectra. A probe was designed to measure impedance spectra over the range of 10 kHz to 1 MHz. The probe was fully characterized using discrete loads and saline solutions of different concentrations. Impedance spectra of five ex vivo prostates were measured in the operating room immediately following radical prostatectomy. Wilcoxon signed-rank tests were used to compare the normal and malignant findings. The impedance probe had a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) > 84 dB across the entire spectrum and measured a tissue volume of approximately 46 mm(3). At 10 kHz, prostate conductivity (or) ranged from 0.232 S/m to 0.310 S/m for tumor and from 0.238 S/m to 0.901 S/m for normal tissue. At 1 MHz the ranges were 0.301 S/m to 0.488 S/m for tumor and 0.337 S/m to 1.149 S/m for normal. Prostate permittivity (epsilonr) ranged from 6.64 x10(4) to 1.25 x 10(5) for tumor and from 9.08 x 10(4) to 4.49 x 10(5) for normal tissues at 10 kHz. And, at 1 MHz the er ranges were 9.23 x 10(2) to 1.88 x 10(3) for tumor and 1.16 x 10(3) to 2.18 x 10(3) for normal tissue. Both sigma and epsilonr of tumor tissue were found to be significantly lower than that of normal tissue (P < 0.0001). Conductivity and permittivity are both higher in normal prostate tissues than they are in malignant tissue making them suitable parameters for tissue differentiation. This is in agreement with trends observed in other tissues reported in much of the literature. Expanded studies are needed to further validate this finding and to explore the biological mechanism responsible for generating the results.  相似文献

The method of laser Doppler vibrometry (LDV) is used to sense movements of the skin overlying the carotid artery. When pointed at the skin overlying the carotid artery, the mechanical movements of the skin disclose physiological activity relating to the blood pressure pulse over the cardiac cycle. In this paper, signal modeling is addressed, with close attention to the underlying physiology. Segments of the LDV signal corresponding to single heartbeats, called LDV pulses, are extracted. Hidden Markov models (HMMs) are used to capture the dynamics of the LDV pulses from beat to beat based on pulse morphology; under resting conditions these dynamics are primarily due to respiration-related effects. LDV pulses are classified according to state, by computing the optimal state path through the data using trained HMMs. HMM state dynamics are examined within the context of respiratory effort using strain gauges placed around the abdomen. This study presented here provides a graphical model approach to modeling the dependence of the LDV pulse on latent states.  相似文献

This article presents a method which optimises the computation time for the prediction of a radio coverage, whatever the propagation model used. The principle consists in reducing the number of application points of the propagation model in relation to a classical technique. The proposed method is based on a multi resolution analysis of measured signals carried out around 2 GHz, and on an electromagnetic analysis of the propagation environment. The performances of the method are evaluated in term of reduction in computation time and of accuracy, in comparaison with the classical technique.  相似文献

This paper describes realization and characterization of SrTiO3 (STO) high K MIM capacitors above BiCMOS integrated circuit (IC). These capacitances are connected to IC and are used as coupling capacitors in order to realize a high pass filter. Surface capacitance achieved is 10 nF/mm2 with capacitance value of 1.2 nF. The process for STO MIM fabrication does not exceed 400 °C, which is compatible with interconnections. Typical K and dielectric losses values obtained are, respectively 110% and 2%. Yield obtained reaches 83% for capacitors. A functional high pass filter using these STO capacitors was realized in this study. It exhibits a cut-off frequency at 6.5 kHz and a constant gain at higher frequencies of −1.3 dB.  相似文献

With each new CMOS technology the latch-up sensitivity and effects of prevention strategies change. Products built in these technologies must adhere to stringent guidelines for latch-up ‘Hardness’, and for this reason characterisation of new technologies is needed through the use of test structures. This paper shows a numerical simulation approach which can determine the relative effectiveness of guard-rings in ESD protection device test structures. In this work, time taken to characterise latch-up protection test structures and to chose a protection strategy is greatly reduced by using numerical simulations to design the test structures. The results presented are for variations to the guard-rings for two technologies. Included in these are the typical simulation times and resources required. The technique outlined has the joint advantages of providing accurately representative simulations of the technology and test structure layout in a practical time frame.  相似文献

This paper aims to develop an infobutton to automatically retrieve published papers corresponding to a topic-specific online clinical discussion. The knowledge linkages infobutton is designed to supplement online clinical conversations with pertinent medical literature from Pubmed. The project involves three distinct steps: 1) Clinical messages around a specific problem are grouped together into a thread. 2) These threads are processed using Metamap to link the conversations to keywords from the MeSH lexicon. 3) These keywords are used in a novel search strategy to retrieve a set of papers from Pubmed, which are then returned to the user. A pilot study using the messages from 2007 and 2008, was conducted to compare the knowledge linkage search strategy to a vector space model and extended Boolean model. The knowledge linkage model proved to be significantly better in terms of precision ( p = 0.013 and 0.003, respectively) and recall ( p = 0.351 and 0.013). Pertinent papers were returned to over 55% of the threads. This approach has demonstrated how clinicians can supplement their peer communications with evidence based research. Future work should focus on how to improve the threading and keyword-mapping strategies.  相似文献

Irreversible electroporation (IRE) uses high-voltage pulses applied to tissue, which cause dielectric breakdown of cell membranes resulting in cell death. IRE is a promising technique for ablation of nonresectable tumors because it can be configured to spare critical structures such as blood vessels. A consequence of pulse application is an increase in tissue electrical conductivity due to current pathways being opened in cell membranes. We propose a novel IRE method introducing electrode switching and pulse sequencing in which tissue conductivity is first increased using preparatory pulses in order to form high-conductivity zones, which then helps provide higher electric field intensity within the targeted tissue as subsequent pulses are applied, and hence, enhances the efficiency and selectivity of the IRE treatment. We demonstrate the potential of this method using computational models on simple geometries.  相似文献
