Galvanic black anodizing on Mg-Li alloys   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
A process of galvanic black anodizing on Mg-Li alloys was studied. The influence of various operating parameters, namely galvanic current density, voltage, pH, electrolyte concentration, operating temperature, anodizing time and heat treatment on the anodic film formation have been investigated to optimize the process. The deposits were characterized by optical and scanning electron microscopy, adhesion tests, corrosion studies, thickness measurement and microhardness evaluation. The space worthiness of the coatings has been evaluated by humidity, thermal cycling and thermovacuum tests and measurement of optical properties. Graph clustering is successfully applied in various applications for finding similar patterns. Recently, deep learning- based autoencoder has been used efficiently for detecting disjoint clusters. However, in real-world graphs, vertices may belong to multiple clusters. Thus, it is obligatory to analyze the membership of vertices toward clusters. Furthermore, existing approaches are centralized and are inefficient in handling large graphs. In this paper, a deep learning-based model ‘DFuzzy’ is proposed for finding fuzzy clusters from large graphs in distributed environment. It performs clustering in three phases. In first phase, pre-training is performed by initializing the candidate cluster centers. Then, fine tuning is performed to learn the latent representations by mining the local information and capturing the structure using PageRank. Further, modularity is used to redefine clusters. In last phase, reconstruction error is minimized and final cluster centers are updated. Experiments are performed over real-life graph data, and the performance of DFuzzy is compared with four state-of-the-art clustering algorithms. Results show that DFuzzy scales up linearly to handle large graphs and produces better quality of clusters when compared to state-of-the-art clustering algorithms. It is also observed that deep structures can help in getting better graph representations and provide improved clustering performance.  相似文献

Natural convective flow of air inside the cubical cavity is investigated numerically. The temperature of the bottom wall is kept higher than that of top cold wall, and other four walls are assumed to be adiabatic. Attention has been paid to the convective discretization schemes, like upwind, QUICK, total variation diminishing, normalized variable diagram (NVD) schemes that are compared with respect to accuracy. The output is validated with respect to the results available in the literature. A parallel computing message passing interface code is adapted to run the simulations. From the results, it is observed that the NVD scheme gives better results among all the employed convective discretization schemes irrespective of the mesh structure. Thus, in this article, self filtered central differencing which is a family of NVD, is used. From the enormous output data, along with the streamlines, contours of isotherms, the new technique of energy pathlines, and field synergy are used to visualize the fluid flow and heat transfer mechanism arising in the system in the range of Ra from 103 to 106. Free energy streamlines are observed with small Ra, whereas trapped energy streamlines are observed with high Ra. When Ra increases, synergy angle increases and implies that the synergy between the velocity vector and temperature gradient gets reduced and leads to increasing values of average Nusselt number (Nu).  相似文献

The present study was carried out to assess levels of different heavy metals like iron, manganese, copper and zinc, in vegetables irrigated with water from different sources. The results indicated a substantial build-up of heavy metals in vegetables irrigated with wastewater. The range of various metals in wastewater-irrigated plants was 116–378, 12–69, 5.2–16.8 and 22–46 mg/kg for iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn), respectively. The highest mean levels of Fe and Mn were detected in mint and spinach, whereas the levels of Cu and Zn were highest in carrot. The present study highlights that both adults and children consuming vegetables grown in wastewater-irrigated soils ingest significant amount of these metals. However, the values of these metals were below the recommended maximum tolerable levels proposed by the [Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (1999). Summary and conclusions. In this article, an attempt is made to provide two level securities for medical images using watermarking and encryption. Watermarking provides security and encryption, authenticates medical image and provides integrity. Watermarking is performed by using a new nontensor product wavelet filter banks, which have the ability to reveal singularities in different directions. Natural image is taken as the original image and the medical image is taken as a watermark image. The medical image is embedded into the LH sub band of the natural image. The encryption is performed by RSA, AES, and RC4 algorithms. A qualitative comparative analysis of the proposed algorithm is done for different encryption methods. The proposed algorithm has the ability to withstand different attacks like noise, rotation, contrast, and brightness attacks. Performance analysis is made by calculating PSNR, SSIM, NC, and CV.  相似文献

Biosorption of Cr(VI) using native strains of cyanobacteria from metal contaminated soil in the premises of textile mill has been reported in this paper. Biosorption was studied as a function of pH (1-5), contact time (5-180 min) and initial chromium ion concentration (5-20mg/l) to find out the maximum biosorption capacity of alginate immobilized Nostoc calcicola HH-12 and Chroococcus sp. HH-11. The optimum conditions for Cr(VI) biosorption are almost same for the two strains (pH 3-4, contact time 30 min and initial chromium concentration of 20mg/l) however, the biomass of Chroococcus sp. HH-11 was found to be more suitable for the development of an efficient biosorbent for the removal of Cr(VI) from wastewater, as it showed higher values of q(m) and K(f), the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm parameters. Both the isotherm models were suitable for describing the biosorption of Cr(VI) by the cyanobacterial biosorbents.  相似文献

The health effects of recreational gambling are presently unclear, particularly across age groups. Theories of healthy aging suggest that social activities, including gambling, may be beneficial to the health of older adults. Using cross-sectional data from the National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions (N=43,093), the authors examined associations between gambling (categorized as nongambling, recreational gambling, or problem/pathological gambling) and health and functioning measures stratified by age (40-64 years and ≥65). Problem/pathological gambling was uniformly associated with poorer health measures among both younger and older adults. Among younger respondents, poorer health measures were also found among recreational gamblers. However, among older respondents, recreational gambling was associated not only with some negative measures (e.g., obesity) but also with some positive measures (e.g., better physical and mental functioning). Longitudinal studies are needed to clarify the relationship between gambling and health in older adults in the context of healthy aging. BACKGROUND: There is increasing use of highly sensitive testing with polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to study white cell microchimerism after transfusion and transplantation. This study investigated possible artifactual sources of allogeneic sample contamination before PCR testing. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: Quantitative Y-chromosome PCR was used to study microchimerism among transfused patients with sickle cell disease (SCD) and thalassemia by using residual specimens from the clinical laboratory. High levels of circulating male white cells among transfused patients with SCD but not thalassemia led to concern over the artifactual origin of male cells. To investigate, paired specimens were collected from 26 female SCD patients: one specimen underwent processing only for PCR, while the other underwent testing in the clinical laboratory before PCR as a process control. All laboratory instruments were also assessed for their ability to impart male allogeneic cells to aliquots of female blood. RESULTS: Thirty-three (31%) of 107 SCD samples, but 0 of 20 thalassemia samples, gave a high-level PCR signal. One of 26 paired samples that was not exposed to clinical laboratory equipment had low-level PCR positivity while 10 of the 26 became strongly positive after testing on a blood cell analyzer and a reticulocyte analyzer. Sixteen of 32 female samples became positive after reticulocyte analysis, while none became positive after blood cell analysis. Samples from thalassemia patients tested PCR-negative because reticulocyte counts had not been performed. CONCLUSION: Allogeneic cell contamination is common with clinical laboratory equipment. These samples may not be suitable for microchimerism studies. In addition to method controls, process controls should be employed where appropriate.  相似文献
