Since the initial comparison of Seitz et al., the accuracy of dense multiview stereovision methods has been increasing steadily. A number of limitations, however, make most of these methods not suitable to outdoor scenes taken under uncontrolled imaging conditions. The present work consists of a complete dense multiview stereo pipeline which circumvents these limitations, being able to handle large-scale scenes without sacrificing accuracy. Highly detailed reconstructions are produced within very reasonable time thanks to two key stages in our pipeline: a minimum s-t cut optimization over an adaptive domain that robustly and efficiently filters a quasidense point cloud from outliers and reconstructs an initial surface by integrating visibility constraints, followed by a mesh-based variational refinement that captures small details, smartly handling photo-consistency, regularization, and adaptive resolution. The pipeline has been tested over a wide range of scenes: from classic compact objects taken in a laboratory setting, to outdoor architectural scenes, landscapes, and cultural heritage sites. The accuracy of its reconstructions has also been measured on the dense multiview benchmark proposed by Strecha et al., showing the results to compare more than favorably with the current state-of-the-art methods.  相似文献

A simple and reliable method for the efficient inactivation of metabolism and for quantitative metabolite extraction from yeast cells is presented. It is based on the use of a boiling solution made of 75% ethanol (volume/final volume) buffered with 70 mm-Hepes (final concentration), pH 7·5, to guarantee the stability throughout the whole procedure of a large variety of metabolites, including all glycolytic intermediates, nucleotides, pyridine nucleotides and organic acids compounds. The extraction is fast, requiring only 3 min incubation of yeast cells in the ethanol-buffered mixture maintained at 80°C. It can be carried out either directly by spraying the cells into the boiling mixture, or after quenching the whole culture in 60% methanol kept at −40°C. Extracts are subsequently concentrated by evaporation under partial vacuum and the residue is resuspended in a small volume of water. This concentration step and the use of a highly sensitive analytical method allow us to quantify metabolites in less than 10 mg dry weight cells. This method, which can be applied to other fungi, could be very helpful for the determination of true metabolites in mutants generated through the EUROFAN programme and for metabolic flux analysis. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The [Cp*(MeCN)3Ru(II)][PF6] complex is an efficient catalyst precursor for the O‐allylation of phenols with allylic chlorides in the presence of K2CO3 under mild conditions. This ruthenium precursor affords branched allyl aryl ethers according to a regioselective reaction, which contrasts with the uncatalyzed nucleophilic substitution from the same substrates. Stable (η3‐allyl)Ru(IV) cationic complexes resulting from the reaction of [Cp*(MeCN)3Ru][PF6] with allylic halides were identified as intermediate catalytic species. An X‐ray structure determination of the complex [Cp*(MeCHCHCH2)(MeCN)RuBr][PF6] disclosed an (endo‐trans‐MeCHCHCH2) allylic ligand. The structural information obtained from the study of Cp*(allyl)Ru(IV) complexes indicated that electronic effects at the coordinated allylic ligand likely account for the better regioselectivity obtained from cinnamyl chloride as compared to aliphatic allylic chlorides.  相似文献

We present two complex microwave filter designs using the finite element method (FEM). A metallic cavity, loaded by low-loss dielectric plates is first optimized to obtain a high unloaded quality factor resonator. An original synthesis approach is then proposed to design a three-pole dielectric loaded cavity filter. The FEM is also applied to characterize a filter element, a dielectric resonator (DR) coupled on a whispering gallery mode (WGM) to two microstrip lines. A generalized [S] matrix is computed. Transcranial magnetic stimulation is a noninvasive brain stimulation technique. It is based on current induction in the brain with a stimulation coil emitting a strong varying magnetic field. Its development is currently limited by the lack of accuracy and repeatability of manual coil positioning. A dedicated robotic system is proposed in this paper. Contrary to previous approaches in the field, a custom design is introduced to maximize the safety of the subject. Furthermore, the control of the force applied by the coil on the subject's head is implemented. The architecture is original and its experimental evaluation demonstrates its interest: the compensation of the head motion is combined with the force control to ensure accuracy and safety during the stimulation.  相似文献

A new implantable pressure sensor for long-term monitoring of intracranial pressure is presented. The sensor is powered by telemetry and can be interrogated wirelessly. A capacitive pressure transducer, whose capacitance is converted to a frequency-encoded signal by an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC), senses the absolute pressure. The pressure-encoded signal, the ASIC input voltage, and onboard calibration parameters are transmitted to an external reading unit. The proposed novel packaging solution is designed for long-term stability and reliability of the sensor. The accuracy of sensor at body temperature is better than 2 mbar across a pressure range of 600-1200 mbar. The sensor is 13 mm in diameter and 4.5 mm in height.  相似文献

Bismuth antimony telluride (Bi1−x Sb x )2Te3 thermoelectric compounds were synthesized by pulse plating. Due to the large number of parameters available (pulse waveform, on/off pulse time, applied current density), this advanced form of electrodeposition allows better control of the interfacial supply and electrochemical reactions and offers effective ways to improve macroscopic properties such as adhesion and to produce crack-free hard deposits and fine-grained films with higher uniformity and lower porosity. The influence of pulse parameters (pulse time t on, cathodic current density J c) on the stoichiometry, roughness, and crystallography of deposits was studied. The thermoelectric properties (electrical resistivity and Seebeck coefficient) of the films were measured. The results revealed that deposits have p-type conductivity directly after electroplating (Seebeck coefficient around 150 μV K−1), in contrast to films synthesized by direct current, which require annealing. An improvement of resistivity was observed: for a direct-current-deposited film the resistivity is around 5000 μΩ m, whereas for a pulse-deposited film the resistivity was around 200 μΩ m.  相似文献

Periodic arrays of anisotropic silver nanoparticles having peculiar optical properties are fabricated at a macroscopic scale. The proposed scalable method is based on temperature‐assisted solid‐state dewetting of a continuous thin layer deposited on a silica substrate patterned by the nanoimprint technique. The resulting nanoparticles are shaped like diamonds and are half‐embedded into the patterned silica. A period‐dependent optimum in film thickness for the quality of spatial organization is found and discussed in terms of thermodynamics and, for the first time, in terms of the role of grains in the dewetting process. The optical properties of the arrays are driven by not only simply the particle shape but also the lattice period and the degree of order. A surface lattice resonance that disperses with the underlying period is evidenced experimentally and confirmed by optical simulations. The opportunity to fabricate and tune such an assembly of plasmonic particles on transparent substrate opens interesting perspectives for not only fundamental photonics but also potential optical applications.  相似文献
