An EKV-based high voltage MOSFET model is presented. The intrinsic channel model is derived based on the charge based EKV-formalism. An improved mobility model is used for the modeling of the intrinsic channel to improve the DC characteristics. The model uses second order dependence on the gate bias and an extra parameter for the smoothening of the saturation voltage of the intrinsic drain. This paper introduces the use of sets of multiple networks (bundled networks) to manage the variability due to different initialization parameters. This method makes it statistically impossible for the networks to be trapped in the same local minimum, and therefore allows better control of the confidence of the prediction eventually given. Expressive facial animations are essential to enhance the realism and the credibility of virtual characters. Parameter‐based animation methods offer a precise control over facial configurations while performance‐based animation benefits from the naturalness of captured human motion. In this paper, we propose an animation system that gathers the advantages of both approaches. By analyzing a database of facial motion, we create the human appearance space. The appearance space provides a coherent and continuous parameterization of human facial movements, while encapsulating the coherence of real facial deformations. We present a method to optimally construct an analogous appearance face for a synthetic character. The link between both appearance spaces makes it possible to retarget facial animation on a synthetic face from a video source. Moreover, the topological characteristics of the appearance space allow us to detect the principal variation patterns of a face and automatically reorganize them on a low‐dimensional control space. The control space acts as an interactive user‐interface to manipulate the facial expressions of any synthetic face. This interface makes it simple and intuitive to generate still facial configurations for keyframe animation, as well as complete temporal sequences of facial movements. This article evaluates the effect of shear stress on the composition of biofilm bacterial communities. For the first time, a Conical Couette-Taylor Reactor (CCTR) was used to develop biofilms at varying shear stresses (from 0.055 to 0.27 Pa) and provided a useful model for studying the effect of hydrodynamics on biofilms. The composition, diversity and dynamics of biofilm bacterial communities were analysed using the PCR-SSCP fingerprint method. Results clearly demonstrate a link between shear stress and composition of the microbial communities. High shear stresses decrease biofilm diversity and the analysis of biofilm community dynamics suggests that shear stress would slow down biofilm maturation and tend to maintain a young biofilm. 相似文献

Reinforced hepatitis B (HB) vaccination schedules have been tested in nonresponsive hemodialysis (HD) patients. Primary high-dose intradermal (ID) vaccination in HD has been proposed in one study with higher seroconversion rate, but no cost analysis was made. The aim of this prospective study was to confirm this previous report and focus on a cost-effectiveness evaluation of the thorough vaccination with a maintenance program. Thirty-five chronic incident HD patients received primary ID HB vaccination with a reinforced schedule (20 microg Engerix-B every 2 weeks). Revaccination with a monthly single ID dose of 20 microg was performed whenever anti-HBs titer fell under 20 IU/L and continued until a titer of 20 U/L was reached. Outcome measures were cumulative seroconversion rates, mean levels of anti-HBs, maintenance booster doses, rate of seroprotection at the end of the 2-year follow-up and subsequent costs. The present study was associated with an earlier peak of anti-HBs titer (3.9+/-1.7 months) and a higher cumulative seroconversion rate (96.9%) after 1 year. Moreover, a low-booster shot (17.4 microg) of ID Engerix-B/year/patient confers a 100% seroprotection for all responders for a second-year period. The mean cost of our schedule is 127.7 euro/patient for a 2-year period, revaccination included. This current study demonstrates that primary reinforced ID HB vaccination with a maintenance program for a 2-year period warrants the best cost-effectiveness ratio with rapid and sustained seroprotection in almost all HD patients. 相似文献

All controlled radical polymerization (CRP) procedures rely on a dynamic and rapid equilibrium between dormant and active species. This equilibrium can be established through different mechanisms and all the resulting CRP processes have their own advantages and limitations. Therefore, it becomes interesting to investigate the possibility of combining CRP techniques to eliminate specific drawbacks of each individual procedure. Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) with alkyl pseudohalides acting as initiators and chain transfer agents was developed for that purpose. The process relies on a dual mechanism involving both activation deactivation and reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT). This peculiar characteristic of ATRP with alkyl pseudohalides acting as chain transfer agents made it possible to overcome some of the limitations typically associated with conventional ATRP and RAFT polymerization as well as to prepare new responsive materials. 相似文献

The total quantity (11.7 mg/kg of pulp) of aglycones released by enzymatic hydrolysis of the glycosidic extract indicates a significant aroma potential for cupuacu. Among the 47 aglycones identified, 24 are not present in the free volatile fraction, among them, 4-methylguaiacol, 4-propylguaiacol, 2,6-dimethyl-octa-1,7-dien-3,6-diol, 2,6-dimethyl-oct-7-en-1,6-diol, homovanillic acid, 2-methyl-but-3-en-1-ol and acetic acid. The quantitatively most important aglycones are 3-methyl-butan-1-ol, 2-phenylethanol, linalol, (Z)-2,6-dimethyl-octa-2,7-dien-1,6-diol, butan-1-ol and hexan-1-ol. The methylated alditol acetates analysis of monosaccharides released by acid hydrolysis of the heterosidic extract, indicates that glucose is involved in glucosidic and glycosidic structures. Moreover, rhamnopyranose and xylopyranose units, bound in the terminal position, suggest the presence of rutinosides and small amounts of primeverosides. -glucopyranosides, five rutinosides, benzyl, (R) and (S)-linalyl, -terpineyl and 2-phenylethyl rutinosides and 3-methyl-but-2-enyl vicianoside were identified by GC–EIMS after TFA derivatization of the crude heterosidic fraction. Moreover, four linalol oxides, octyl, 3-methyl-butyl β-
