In this paper, the problem of state estimation in an asynchronous distributed multi‐sensor estimation (ADE) system is considered. In such an ADE system, the state of a plant of interest is estimated by a group of local estimators. Each local estimator based, for example, on a Kalman filter, performs fusion of data from its local sensor and other (remote) processors to compute possibly best state estimates. In performing data fusion, however, two important issues need to be addressed, namely, the problem of asynchronism of local processors and the one of unknown correlation between asynchronous data in local processors. Consequently, there are two main contributions proposed in this paper. The first is a method to deal with asynchronous discrete‐time data based on a continuous‐time stochastic plant model. The second contribution is an asynchronous distributed data‐fusion algorithm. Simulated experiments illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed ADE approach. Recent studies have shown the involvement of GluN2A subunit-containing NMDA receptors in various neurological and pathological disorders. In the X-ray crystal structure, TCN-201 ( 1 ) and analogous pyrazine derivatives 2 and 3 adopt a U-shape (hairpin) conformation within the binding site formed by the ligand binding domains of the GluN1 and GluN2A subunits. In order to mimic the resulting π/π-interactions of two aromatic rings in the binding site, a [2.2]paracyclophane system was designed to lock these aromatic rings in a parallel orientation. Acylation of [2.2]paracyclophane ( 5 ) with oxalyl chloride and chloroacetyl chloride and subsequent transformations led to the oxalamide 7 , triazole 10 and benzamides 12 . The GluN2A inhibitory activities of the paracyclophane derivatives were tested with two-electrode voltage clamp electrophysiology using Xenopus laevis oocytes expressing selectively functional NMDA receptors with GluN2A subunit. The o-iodobenzamide 12 b with the highest similarity to TCN-201 showed the highest GuN2A inhibitory activity of this series of compounds. At a concentration of 10 μM, 12 b reached 36 % of the inhibitory activity of TCN-201 ( 1 ). This result indicates that the [2.2]paracyclophane system is well accepted by the TCN-201 binding site.  相似文献

Mutations the in human DJ-1 (hDJ-1) gene are associated with early-onset autosomal recessive forms of Parkinson’s disease (PD). hDJ-1/parkinsonism associated deglycase (PARK7) is a cytoprotective multi-functional protein that contains a conserved cysteine-protease domain. Given that cysteine-proteases can act on both amide and ester substrates, we surmised that hDJ-1 possessed cysteine-mediated esterase activity. To test this hypothesis, hDJ-1 was overexpressed, purified and tested for activity towards 4-nitrophenyl acetate (pNPA) as µmol of pNPA hydrolyzed/min/mg·protein (U/mg protein). hDJ-1 showed maximum reaction velocity esterase activity (Vmax = 235.10 ± 12.00 U/mg protein), with a sigmoidal fit (S0.5 = 0.55 ± 0.040 mM) and apparent positive cooperativity (Hill coefficient of 2.05 ± 0.28). A PD-associated mutant of DJ-1 (M26I) lacked activity. Unlike its protease activity which is inactivated by reactive oxygen species (ROS), esterase activity of hDJ-1 is enhanced upon exposure to low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide (<10 µM) and plateaus at elevated concentrations (>100 µM) suggesting that its activity is resistant to oxidative stress. Esterase activity of DJ-1 requires oxidation of catalytic cysteines, as chemically protecting cysteines blocked its activity whereas an oxido-mimetic mutant of DJ-1 (C106D) exhibited robust esterase activity. Molecular docking studies suggest that C106 and L126 within its catalytic site interact with esterase substrates. Overall, our data show that hDJ-1 contains intrinsic redox-sensitive esterase activity that is abolished in a PD-associated mutant form of the hDJ-1 protein.  相似文献

The Munsell Color System and the Natural Color System are widely used but they have some limitations due to the manufacturing process and sampling choices. To estimate quantitatively these limitations we compared the colors of natural scenes with the colors represented by these systems under a wide range of illuminants. Spectral data from the two systems and from natural scenes were used in the analysis. It was found that a considerable portion of natural colors are not accounted by these systems, mainly colors with low lightness levels. Under D65 the Munsell Color System color volume corresponds to 72% of the Natural Color System color volume which in turn represents only 53% of the natural scenes color volume. If individual colors are considered, less than half are contained within these systems. To obtain a complete match to the natural colors contained by the color systems thresholds of 7 and 5 CIELAB units would be required for Munsell Color System and Natural Color System, respectively. Variations with the illuminant are generally modest showing that both system work similarly across different illuminations. Although these Color Systems have limitations in describing low lightness colors they perform quite well for medium to high levels of lightness.  相似文献

The influence of spray drying conditions on the energy required, production cost, and physicochemical characteristics of cheese whey was researched. The factors investigated were the inlet air temperature (180–220°C), outlet air temperature (80–100°C), and silica and maltodextrin (DE-10) as additives at 2 and 5% (w/w), respectively. Analysis of variance revealed that the inlet and outlet air temperatures, and the addition of additives had significant effects (p?Tinlet of 180°C, Toutlet of 80°C, and the addition of 5% additive material. Under these conditions, 0.2165?kg/h of dried product was obtained, with a moisture content of 2.08% and water activity of 0.125, and the product cost was $17.06?kg with an energy consumption of 2.0490?kW?·?h/kg of dry product.  相似文献

The effects of parameter uncertainty on optimal policy have been a matter of interest for academics, and even for some policymakers, for a long time. Two lines of literature have developed analytical results on this matter. The first line uses static models and the second dynamic models. In this dynamic line most of the results are confined to models with a single state and a single control variable. In this paper we want to encourage the analysis of more general dynamic cases. To do so, the results in the dynamic line are extended from one-state and one-control finite horizon models to models with a pair of control variables. We then discuss some of the hurdles which must be surmounted for the results to be made more general and suggests some lines for further research. JEL classification: C61; E61  相似文献

Many language identification (LID) systems are based on language models using techniques that consider the fluctuation of speech over time. Considering these fluctuations necessitates longer recording intervals to obtain reasonable accuracy. Our research extracts features from short recording intervals to enable successful classification of spoken language. The feature extraction process is based on frames of 20 ms, whereas most previous LIDs presented results based on much longer frames (3?s or longer). We defined and implemented 200 features divided into four feature sets: cepstrum features, RASTA features, spectrum features, and waveform features. We applied eight machine learning (ML) methods on the features that were extracted from a corpus containing speech files in 10 languages from the Oregon Graduate Institute (OGI) telephone speech database and compared their performances using extensive experimental evaluation. The best optimized classification results were achieved by random forest (RF): from 76.29% on 10 languages to 89.18% on 2 languages. These results are better or comparable to the state-of-the-art results for the OGI database. Another set of experiments that was performed was gender classification from 2 to 10 languages. The accuracy and the F measure values for the RF method for all the language experiments were greater than or equal to 90.05%.  相似文献
