It is shown that peroxidation of phosphatidylcholine (PC) is enhanced in liver of mice fed a hepatocarcinogenic choline-deficient diet containing 0.1% w/w ethionine. Mice were divided into 4 groups and fed for 3 weeks one of the following diets: choline-supplemented; choline-supplemented containing ethionine; choline-deficient; and choline-deficient containing ethionine. Phosphatidylcholine hydroperoxide (PCOOH) of liver lipids was measured by high performance liquid chromatography using a chemiluminescence detector. Mice fed a choline-deficient diet containing ethionine showed 6-fold higher PCOOH levels than the choline-supplemented control mice: the PCOOH/PC molar ratios of liver lipids were 32.3×10−5 and 5.6×10−5, respectively. In addition to this remarkable degree of lipid peroxidation in liver of mice fed the choline-deficient diet containing ethionine, we also observed a significant liver fatty infiltration, a decrease in plasma and liver α-tocopherol, and an increase in liver injury-indicative enzyme activities. Also, marker enzymes for hepatocarcinogenesis, glucose-6-phosphatase and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase were affected. These data suggest that enhanced hydroperoxidation of phosphatidylcholine may participate in hepatocarcinogenesis provoked by choline deficiency in the presence of ethionine.  相似文献

The stabilities of a commercial diacylglycerol‐rich oil (DAG) and a salad oil (TAG) that had been prepared from a mixture of rapeseed and soybean oils were compared while frying potatoes at 180 °C for 3 h. The representative chemical and physical characteristics of the oils were assessed before and after frying, together with the amount of volatile aldehydes in the exhaust of frying. Among the deterioration indications, the carbonyl value, polymer content, and residual polyunsaturated fatty acid content were similar and not significantly different between the TAG and DAG. On the other hand, the characteristics relating to free fatty acids, i.e. the acid value and emission of chemiluminescence at 100 °C, were greater and the smoke and flash points were lower in the DAG than in the TAG. An irritating odor was generated from the DAG after 1 h of frying and got stronger as frying continued. These results suggested that DAG more easily forms free fatty acids under frying conditions than TAG.  相似文献

Silicon-doped diamond-like carbon (Si-DLC) films were prepared by dc pulse-plasma chemical vapor deposition (CVD), using a mixture of acetylene (C2H2) and tetramethylsilane (TMS) as the material gas. The pulse voltage was varied from − 2 to − 5 kV, and the TMS flow ratio (TMS/(C2H2 + TMS)) was varied from 0 to 40%. At a pulse voltage of − 2 kV, an increase in TMS flow ratio leads to a decrease in hardness. In contrast, at a pulse voltage of − 5 kV, an increase in TMS flow ratio leads to a slight increase in hardness. The high hydrogen concentration in the films due to an increase in TMS flow ratio promotes the formation of polymeric sp3 C―H bonds, resulting in the fabrication of soft films at a low pulse voltage of − 2 kV. However, an increase in the effect of ion peening on the growth face results in the formation of hard films at a high pulse voltage of − 5 kV. Then, at a pulse voltage of − 5 kV fabricating hard Si-DLC films, an increase in TMS flow ratio leads to an increase in the silicon content in the films, resulting in a decrease in the friction coefficient. Therefore, it is clarified that Si-DLC films fabricated by dc pulse-plasma CVD under a high pulse voltage and high TMS flow ratio exhibit high hardness and a low friction coefficient. Moreover, to investigate the friction coefficient of Si-DLC films fabricated by dc pulse-plasma CVD, films deposited by dc plasma CVD were also evaluated. To obtain the same low friction coefficient, dc pulse-plasma CVD requires less TMS than dc plasma CVD. Hence, it is also clarified that Si-DLC films can be fabricated at a low cost by dc pulse-plasma CVD.  相似文献

Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the most lethal gynecologic malignancy and has a unique metastatic route using ascites, known as the transcoelomic root. However, studies on ascites and contained cellular components have not yet been sufficiently clarified. In this review, we focus on the significance of accumulating ascites, contained EOC cells in the form of spheroids, and interaction with non-malignant host cells. To become resistant against anoikis, EOC cells form spheroids in ascites, where epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition stimulated by transforming growth factor-β can be a key pathway. As spheroids form, EOC cells are also gaining the ability to attach and invade the peritoneum to induce intraperitoneal metastasis, as well as resistance to conventional chemotherapy. Recently, accumulating evidence suggests that EOC spheroids in ascites are composed of not only cancer cells, but also non-malignant cells existing with higher abundance than EOC cells in ascites, including macrophages, mesothelial cells, and lymphocytes. Moreover, hetero-cellular spheroids are demonstrated to form more aggregated spheroids and have higher adhesion ability for the mesothelial layer. To improve the poor prognosis, we need to elucidate the mechanisms of spheroid formation and interactions with non-malignant cells in ascites that are a unique tumor microenvironment for EOC.  相似文献

We analyzed the vapor-phase distribution and behavior of each component in multi-component fuel (MCF). Evaporation characteristic of MCF was researched by laser-induced fluorescent (LIF) method. A pulsed Nd-YAG laser was used as incident light, and an experiment was performed in a constant-volume vessel so that optical measurement could be possible. MCF was injected through electronically controlled common rail injector into the vessel. I-octane (C8H18), n-dodecane (C12H26) and n-hexadecane (C16H34) were selected to be low boiling point (LO-B.P.), mid boiling point (MI-B.P.) and high boiling point (HI-B.P.) components, respectively, and Fuel A, Fuel B and Fuel C, made by compounding those components at different mass fractions, were used as MCF. Experimentation was performed under the conditions that injection pressures were 42MPa, 72MPa and 112MPa, respectively, ambient gas density was 15kg/m3 and ambient gas temperature was 700K. The spatial vapor-phase distribution, dispersion process of mixture, and vaporphase homogeneity were researched. It was ascertained that the vapor-phase of MCF showed stratified distribution and the dispersion of mixture was improved in proportion to the mass fraction of the LO-B.P. component.  相似文献

The present study applied friction spot joining (FSJ), which was recently developed as a lap joining technique of Al alloys, to two sheets of Al alloy 6061, 1 mm in thickness, and then examined the microstructural feature in the weld. The weld had the nugget-shaped stir zone around the exit hole of the probe, and the stir zone exhibited the equiaxed grain structure having finer grain size than that of the base material. The crystallographic texture analysis using electron backscattered diffraction method suggested that the material movement occurred along the rotating direction of the welding tool in the wide region including the stir zone. In the periphery of the nugget-shaped stir zone, which was characterized as the region having the finer grain size than that of the stir zone interior, any inclusions and precipitates were not found in the SEM scale. The weld was softened around the weld centre. The softening could be explained by dissolution and/or growth of the strengthening precipitates due to thermal cycle of FSJ.  相似文献

We have performed low-temperature scanning tunneling spectroscopy on overdoped Bi2Sr2−x La x CuO6+δ (x=0.1 and 0.2) at 4.2 K. The tunneling spectra in both samples obviously exhibit two energy gaps: one has clear gap structure with sharp gap edge peaks, and another is observed as kinks inside the larger gap. Both the energy gaps inhomogeneously vary on the surface at nanometer scale, and their values positively correlate each other. The distributions of both gaps normalized to the mean values are identical independent of the doping level. These results suggest that the two gaps are commonly affected by the source of the electronic disorder.  相似文献

This paper investigates the differential eigenstructure of Hankel operators for nonlinear systems. First, it is proven that the variational system and the Hamiltonian extension with extended input and output spaces can be interpreted as the Ga/spl circ/teaux differential and its adjoint of a dynamical input-output system, respectively. Second, the Ga/spl circ/teaux differential is utilized to clarify the main result the differential eigenstructure of the nonlinear Hankel operator which is closely related to the Hankel norm of the original system. Third, a new characterization of the nonlinear extension of Hankel singular values are given based on the differential eigenstructure. Finally, a balancing procedure to obtain a new input-normal/output-diagonal realization is derived. The results in this paper thus provide new insights to the realization and balancing theory for nonlinear systems.  相似文献
