The flux growth of crystals of the following complex fluorides is reported: KAlF4, KMnF3, RbFeF4, Rb2FeF5, Rb3FeF6, Rb x FeF3 (0.18<x<0.29), CsFeF4, CsFe2F7, Cs3Fe2F9, Cs x FeF3 (0.18<x<0.29), Na2CoFeF7, Na2NiFeF7, Na2NiAlF7, Na2ZnCrF7, NaCrF4 and Rb2Cr5F17. Flux impurity levels, determined by electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), were low. However, attempts to produce BaNiF4, BaCoF4, CsCrF4 and Cs2Cr5F17 resulted in crystals with higher levels of substitutional impurities. X-ray powder patterns and EPMA were used to characterize the crystals.  相似文献

Thegem-dibromocyclopropanation of naturally occurring unsaturated hydroxy fatty esters, methyl ricinoleate (I) and methyl isoricinoleate (II), has been undertaken to provide compounds which might have potential utility. Phenyl(tribromomethyl)mercury reacts only with the carbon-carbon double bond of each substrate, leaving the OH group intact. The product, methyl 9,10-dibromomethylene-12-hydroxyoctadecanoate (III) and methyl 12,13-dibromomethylene-9-hydroxyoctadecanoate (IV), obtained from I and II, respectively, were characterized by elemental, infrared (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analyses.  相似文献

The effects of enzyme‐assisted cold‐pressing (EACP) on the physicochemical attributes of Cannabis sativa (hemp) seed oil were investigated using five enzyme preparations: Protex 7L, Viscozyme L, Kemzyme, Feedzyme, and Natuzyme. The oil contents (28.4–32.8%) offered by the enzyme‐treated hempseeds were found to be significantly (p <0.05) higher than that determined for the control (26.7%). The protein, fiber, and ash contents of the seeds were unaffected by the enzyme treatment. There were no significant (p >0.05) variations observed for the values of iodine number, refractive index, density, unsaponifiable matter and fatty acid composition between the enzyme‐extracted and control hempseed oils. The levels of saponification value, free fatty acids, iodine value and peroxide value were slightly varied between the oils tested. The color intensity of the enzyme‐extracted oils was also higher than that of the control oil. A relatively higher level of tocopherols (724.4–788.8 mg/kg) was observed in the enzyme‐extracted oils compared to the control (691.2 mg/kg), showing an enhancement of ca. 4.8–14.1% in the total tocopherols. The Rancimat profiles and sensory scores of the enzyme‐extracted oils were noted to be improved compared to the control. The results of the present analysis (with respect to the control) showed that the enzyme added during the hempseed cold‐pressing resulted in considerably higher oil yields, without adversely affecting the quality of the oil.  相似文献

Cd-enriched cadmium telluride (CdTe) polycrystalline films were grown on corning glass substrates by close spaced sublimation (CSS) technique. To our knowledge, Cd-enriched CdTe thin films by CSS have not been reported earlier. The structural investigations performed by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) showed that the deposited films exhibit a polycrystalline structure with 〈111〉 as preferred orientation. The structural, optical, and electrical properties of these films were analyzed as a function of the Cd concentration. For the films having an excess of Cd, the electrical resistivity dropped several orders of magnitude. The deposited films also showed that the value of resistivity decreased with increasing temperature manifesting the semiconducting behavior of the films. The results showed that using this deposition technique, n-type Cd-enriched CdTe polycrystalline film could be produced.  相似文献

Stable and compatible cathode materials are a key factor for realizing the low-temperature (LT, ≤600?°C) operation and practical implementations of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). In this study, perovskite oxides SrFe1-xTixO3-δ (x?< = 0.1), with various ratios of Ti doping, are prepared by a sol-gel method for cathode material for LT-SOFCs. The structure, morphology and thermo-gravimetric characteristics of the resultant SFT powders are investigated. It is found that the Ti is successfully doped into SrFeO3-δ to form a single phase cubic perovskite structure and crystal structure of SFT shows better stability than SrFeO3-δ. The dc electrical conductivity and electrochemical properties of SFT are measured and analysed by four-probe and electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) measurements, respectively. The obtained SFT exhibits a very low polarization resistance (Rp), .01 Ωcm2 at 600?C. The SFT powders using as cathode in fuel cell devices, exhibit maximum power density of 551?mW?cm?2 with open circuit voltage (OCV) of 1.15?V at 600?C. The good performance of the SFT cathode indicates a high rate of oxygen diffusion through the material at cathode. By enabling operation at low temperatures, SFT cathodes may result in a practical implementation of SOFCs.  相似文献

The numerical solutions of the upper-convected Maxwell (UCM) nanofluid flow under the magnetic field effects over an inclined stretching sheet has been worked out. This model has the tendency to elaborate on the characteristics of “relaxation time” for the fluid flow. Special consideration has been given to the impact of nonlinear velocity slip, thermal radiation and heat generation. To study the heat transfer, the modified Fourier and Fick's laws are incorporated in the modeling process. The mass transfer phenomenon is investigated under the effects of chemical reaction, Brownian motion and thermophoresis. With the aid of the similarity transformations, the governing equations in the ordinary differential form are determined and then solved through the MATLAB's package “bvp4c” numerically. This study also brings into the spotlight such crucial physical parameters, which are inevitable for describing the flow and heat transfer behavior. This has been done through graphs and tables with as much precision and exactitude as is possible. The ascending values of the magnetic parameter, the Maxwell parameter and the angle of the inclined stretching sheet cause decay in the dimensionless velocity while an assisting behavior of the thermal and concentration buoyancy parameters is noticed.  相似文献

The use of quality control tool for authentication of Jadwar (Delphinium denudatum Wall. ex Hook.f. & Thomson), a folk herbal drug used for the treatment of different ailments, was studied. People face problems of adulteration for this drug at global, regional, national and local levels. Two different plant species are commercially marketed in the Indo‐Pak Subcontinent under the same trade name of Jadwar. One is D. denudatum Wall. ex Hook.f. & Thomson and the other is Aconitum heterophyllum Wall. ex Royle. To focus on this problem, a marketable available drug sample of Jadwar was authenticated by using basic microscopy tools (LM) and advanced chemo‐taxonomic markers. Authentication, quality and standardization of this drug was achieved using morphology, organoleptography, UV and IR analyses, scanning electron microscopy of pollen and anatomical investigations. The techniques used for authentication marked the clear difference between the studied plants. Microscopic studies, chemotaxonomic investigation and other techniques used in this project provided the basis for the authentication of this species.  相似文献

This study focused on the exploration of the potentials of extracting antioxidants from peels and stems of yellow-fleshed and white cassava varieties. The effect of particle size (0.2 and 0.5 mm) and variety on the phenolic content and antioxidant activity was assessed. The peels of the yellow-fleshed cassava variety with a particle size of 0.2 mm showed the highest phenolic content with 681.5 GAE mg 100 g−1 and antioxidant activity of 19% and 425 μM TE g−1 dry matter using DPPH and FRAP assays respectively. The stems of the white cassava with a particle size of 0.2 mm exhibited high phenolic content (442.4 GAE mg 100 g−1) and antioxidant activity of 12.8% and 234 μM TE g−1, better than the stem of the yellow-fleshed cassava. These results indicate that phenolic and antioxidant extractions were influenced by variety, the plant parts and particle size for the antioxidant assays.  相似文献
