Test and evaluation of a solar powered gas turbine system   总被引:3,自引:1,他引:2  
This paper describes the test and the results of a first prototype solar powered gas turbine system, installed during 2002 in the CESA-1 tower facility at Plataforma Solar de Almería (PSA) in Spain. The main goals of the project were to develop a solar receiver cluster able to provide pressurized air of 1000 °C and solve the problems arising from the coupling of the receivers with a conventional gas turbine to demonstrate the operability of the system. The test set-up consists of the heliostat field of the CESA-1 facility providing the concentrated solar power, a pressurized solar receiver cluster of three modules of 400 kWth each which convert the solar power into heat, and a modified helicopter engine (OST3) with a generator coupled to the grid. The first test phase at PSA started in December 2002 with the goal to reach a temperature level of 800 °C at the combustor air inlet by the integration of solar energy. This objective was achieved by the end of this test phase in March 2003, and the system could be operated at 230 kWe power to grid without major problems. In the second test phase from June 2003 to August 2003 the temperature level was increased to almost 1000 °C. The paper describes the system configuration, the component efficiencies and the operation experiences of the first 100 h of solar operation of this very successful first test of a solar operated Brayton gas turbine system.  相似文献

In rat adipocytes, GLP-1 (7-36) amide induced an increment in 2-deoxy-glucose uptake, which was additive to that of insulin. Furthermore, in rat fat, GLP-1 (7-36) amide provoked a rise in glycogen synthesis, glucose oxidation and utilization and lipogenesis, the increments being lower than those obtained with insulin. These data support the idea that GLP-1 exerts insulin-like effects on glucose metabolism in rat adipose tissue, as it does in rat hepatocytes and skeletal muscle, although with a lower potency than that of insulin.  相似文献

The potential influence of GABAergic input to cholinergic basalis neurons was studied in guinea-pig basal forebrain slices. GABA and its agonists were applied to electrophysiologically-identified cholinergic neurons, of which some were labelled with biocytin and confirmed to be choline acetyltransferase-immunoreactive. Immunohistochemistry for glutamate decarboxylase was also performed in some slices and revealed GABAergic varicosities in the vicinity of the biocytin-filled soma and dendrites of electrophysiologically-identified cholinergic cells. From rest (average - 63 mV), the cholinergic cells were depolarized by GABA. The depolarization was associated with a decrease in membrane resistance and diminution in firing. The effect was mimicked by muscimol, the specific agonist for GABA(A) receptors, and not by baclofen, the specific agonist for GABA(B) receptors, which had no discernible effect. The GABA- and muscimol-evoked depolarization and decrease in resistance were found to be postsynaptic since they persisted in the presence of solutions containing either high Mg2+/low Ca2+ or tetrodotoxin. They were confirmed as being mediated by a GABA(A) receptor, since they were antagonized by bicuculline. The reversal potential for the muscimol effect was estimated to be approximately -45 mV, which was -15 mV above the resting membrane potential. Finally, in some cholinergic cells, spontaneous subthreshold depolarizing synaptic potentials (average 5 mV in amplitude), which were rarely associated with action potentials, were recorded and found to persist in the presence of glutamate receptor antagonists but to be eliminated by bicuculline. These results suggest that GABAergic input may be depolarizing, yet predominantly inhibitory to cholinergic basalis neurons.  相似文献

Plasmatic renin levels were measured in 17 adults patients with diagnosis of diabetes mellitus and systemic arterial hypertension. None of them was under antihypertensive therapy. The results obtained showed lessening of renin levels in 13 cases, normal levels in two cases, no valuable results in one and Significative increase in other. Renal biopsy was performed in 8 patients and in all cases nephropathies were demonstrated; only one of them had normal renin levels. We have concluded that more than 75% of our cases were hyporeninemic hypertensive patients. Our findings are according with other medical papers that have been published before. Finally, we try to explain the mechanisms upon which theorethical causes are based.  相似文献

MS/MS of electrosprayed ions is shown to have the capacity to discriminate between peptides that differ by configuration about their alpha-carbons. It is not necessary for the peptides to possess tertiary structures that are affected by stereochemistry, since five epimers of the pentapeptide, H2N-Gly-Leu-Ser-Phe-Ala-OH (GLSFA) all display different collisionally activated dissociation (CAD) patterns of their protonated parent ions. The figure of merit, r, is a ratio of ratios of fragment ion abundances between stereoisomers, where r = 1 corresponds to no stereochemical effect. Values of r as high as 3.8 are seen for diastereomer pairs. Stereochemical effects are also seen for the diprotonated dodecapeptide H2N-Leu-Val-Phe-Phe-Ala-Glu-Asp-Val-Gly-Ser-Asn-Lys-OH (LVFFAEDVGSNK), a tryptic fragment from the amyloid beta-protein. Triply charged complexes of the protonated dodecapeptide with cobalt(II) ions undergo CAD at lower collision energies than do doubly protonated LVFFAEDVGSNK ions. Statistically significant (p < 0.01) differences between the all-L-dodecapeptide and the ones containing a d-serine or a D-aspartic acid are observed.  相似文献

A mixture of about 50 wt% Ag2Se and 50 wt% Ag2Te as the storage phase in analogue storage cells reduces the effect of temperature variations in the cells to negligible values. A fine dispersion of the above storage phase in the solid electrolyte 50 wt% RbAg4+yI5–ySey + 50 wt% RbAg4+yI5–yTey also reduces the overvoltage of the cell to values under 3 mV. Several cells with capacitances up to 140 mF, current densities up to 20 mA and potential variations in the charged state smaller than 1 mV in 120 mV over 6 months, have been constructed and tested.  相似文献

Kinetic parametes were determined for the oxygen evolution reaction on 50–50 atom percent alloys of RuIr, RuPt, and IrPt and compared with results obtained using ruthenium, iridium, platinum, and RuO2/TiO2 electrodes. The potentiostatic studies were made on oxide covered electrodes at 80°C in both 1.0 M H2SO4 and 1.0 M CF3SO3H. Cyclic voltammetric studies showed that while these noble metals and alloys are about equally effective as electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction, striking differences in activity are found for the oxygen evolution reaction. The order of electrocatalytic activity towards oxygen evolution in H2SO4 is Ru > RuIr alloy ~ RuO2/TiO2 ~ Ir > IrPt alloy > RuPt alloy > Pt. The type of acid used had very little effect on the kinetic parameters. The lower electrocatalytic activities when platinum is present is probably due to the formation of a platinum oxide film. The dual barrier model is used to interpret the results for the electrodes containing platinum. The best electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution in acid solutions consist of noble metals which form oxide films (RuO2, IrO2) possessing metallic characteristics.  相似文献

This work explores the use of high pressure carbon dioxide (HPCD) for the inactivation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in fresh-cut conference pears. This fruit was chosen as an example of a ready to eat and minimally processed food. Assays were carried out with continuous CO2 flow at different pressures (6–30 MPa), temperatures (25–55 °C), and exposure times (10–90 min). Heat treatments at similar temperatures and times were compared to the use of HPCD, wherein it was observed that HPCD was more effective. The total inactivation (5 log10 cycles) of the yeast took place at 55 °C with HPCD while it was necessary to reach 70 °C when only heat was applied. Required pressures and exposure times were relatively low (?6 MPa and on the order of minutes) because of the direct contact between the CO2 and the pear. The pH and °Brix were not affected by the HPCD treatment; however, the pears lost their texture and became darker due to a decrease in vitamin C and enzymatic browning. Peroxidase activity was only partially reduced. The addition of an antioxidant did not help to prevent darkening. Therefore, HPCD could be a low temperature conservation method that is superior to conventional thermal treatments for the preparation of fruit preserves where a firm texture is not essential.  相似文献

In this study, the behavior of carbon steel and galvanized steel in nontropical coastal marine environments was evaluated. Evaluation was carried out with specimens with dimensions of 10 cm × 10 cm × 0.3 cm. These specimens were exposed to four testing stations (Iquique, Mejillones, Los Vilos, and San Vicente), where racks were installed both at ground level (ground), as well as in the upper zone of electrical transmission towers (tower). In each station, 24 specimens of A36 carbon steel and galvanized steel were placed (12 each). The corrosivity of the environment was measured using the ISO 9223, 9225, and 9226 standards. The specimens were evaluated on-site, monthly, through visual inspection and photographic record. Once withdrawn, the corrosion rate was determined and the corrosion products were analyzed through Raman and Fourier-transform infrared. The results show that, in all cases, the corrosion rate is greater in the tower than on the ground. However, even though the Los Vilos station is located farther from the sea (3,500 vs. ≈500 m), the corrosion rate of steel in the tower is the highest. This is caused by the generation of HCl from the transformation of lepidocrocite into goethite, in the presence of low chloride content, which acidifies the steel/corrosion product interface. In the case of galvanized steel, the corrosion rate is a function of the chloride content in the atmosphere, obtaining an excellent correlation between both parameters.  相似文献
