Random phthalide-containing poly(arylene ether ketones) have been synthesized. The properties of the polymers have been studied
by the thermostimulated-current and thermostimulated-depolarization methods. An extremal dependence of the electrophysical
properties on the content of phthalide groups in macromolecules is observed with a maximum at their concentration of 10–15%.
These dependences are explained in terms of the Sworakowski model in which the role of polarization energy of phthalide-containing
molecular fragments is distinguished. The feasibility of targeted variations in the electrophysical properties of nonconjugated

The NPDGamma experiment will measure the parity-violating directional gamma ray asymmetry Aγ in the reaction
. Ultimately, this will constitute the first measurement in the neutron-proton system that is sensitive enough to challenge modern theories of nuclear parity violation, providing a theoretically clean determination of the weak pion-nucleon coupling. A new beam-line at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) delivers pulsed cold neutrons to the apparatus, where they are polarized by transmission through a large volume polarized 3He spin filter and captured in a liquid para-hydrogen target. The 2.2 MeV gamma rays from the capture reaction are detected in an array of CsI(Tl) scintillators read out by vacuum photodiodes operated in current mode. We will complete commissioning of the apparatus and carry out a first measurement at LANSCE in 2004–05, which would provide a statistics-limited result for Aγ accurate to a standard uncertainty of ±5 × 10−8 level or better, improving on existing measurements in the neutron-proton system by a factor of 4. Plans to move the experiment to a reactor facility, where the greater flux would enable us to make a measurement with a standard uncertainty of ±1 × 10−8, are actively being pursued for the longer term. 相似文献

171 iron-deficient painters and 20 subjects with chronic intoxication with aromatic hydrocarbons were studied in a large aircraft construction factory. After correlative analysis of iron metabolism, ferritin, erythrocytes, diameter and perimeter of reticulocytes, length of service three types of iron-deficiency were identified: typical, with evident toxicity, with a high risk of toxic damage. An important role of lipid peroxidation activity and toxic erythrocyto-membranopathy for pathomorphosis of iron deficiency anemia and progress of toxic anemia is demonstrated. A differential approach to treatment of different anemia variants was used. Conclusions The vibration-absorbing capacity of titanium increases with an increase in porosity, which is the resuit of the higher stress concentration at the surface of pores causing a higher level of microplastic deformation in the local areas of the skeleton. The size of the titanium powder fraction has a significant influence on the vibration-absorbing properties of the investigated materials.
