A 64 channel arrayed-waveguide multiplexer with 0.4 nm (50 GHz) channel spacing at 1.55 μm has been fabricated using SiO2-Si waveguides. The two ammonia-assimilating enzymes glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH; EC 1.4.1.4) and glutamine synthetase (GS; EC 6.3.1.2) were synthesized steadily during the cell growth of Klebsiella pneumoniae F-5-2 that can utilize NH4+ and NO3- simultaneously under aerobic conditions. The enzymes were purified to homogeneity from cell extracts and characterized. The molecular mass of the purified GDH was 300 kDa with six identical 52-kDa subunits. GDH showed its maximal activity (aminating) at pH 8.0 and was stable between pHs 5.5 and 11.5. The enzyme was NADP-specific and strongly inhibited by Ag+. It catalyzed the amination of 2-ketovalerate, 2-ketoadipate, and 2-ketobutyrate, in addition to 2-ketoglutarate. The purified GS has a molecular mass of 470 kDa with eight identical 60-kDa subunits. GS showed its maximal activity at pH 8.0 and was stable between pHs 6.0 and 7.0. The enzyme was strongly inhibited by Fe3+, Hg2+, and Cu2+. 相似文献

The usefulness of the photo standard for evaluating skin sagging in the face, especially in the cheeks, was evaluated. A six-stage photo standard was prepared using photos of women aged 17-83-years-old at three magnification rates (136-188 women in each group). Based on this photo standard, scoring was performed using a six-grade scoring system by two specialists to obtain the consensus score. Scoring was also performed in parallel by five general observers. The degree of agreement between the two scores was evaluated by calculating the Kappa value. In each group, the Kappa value was 0.452-0.563, indicating moderate agreement. Thus, the photo standard may be useful for evaluating sagging. Based on the photo standard, a score of 2, at which sagging becomes detectable appeared at the age of 40 years. In parallel, 3D analysis of replicas around the cheek was performed to morphologically analyse age-related changes in sagging. When the depth parameter was compared between the nasolabial groove and the mouth corners, a higher value was observed in the nasolabial groove until the age of 40 years, but higher values were seen in the mouth corners thereafter. This may have been because sagging in the cheeks descends to the area around the mouth, resulting in reversion in the sWv value. Imaging quality of MR cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) has recently made a great advance, and MRCP plays an important part in the diagnosis of pancreticobiliary diseases. To obtaining excellent-quality MRCP images, three conditions are required: fluid-to-background contrast, high spatial resolution, and suppression of respiratory motion artifacts. Respiratory motion artifacts, whose suppression is especially important for MRCP, can be controlled by the use of breath-holding, signal averaging, or respiratory triggering. These images are implemented in either single-slice technique or multi-slice technique. We have performed MRCP prior to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in more than 100 patients. MRCP images were obtained as maximum-intensity-projection (MIP) reconstruction images and thick-slice projection images by using single-shot fast-spin-echo sequence, and MIP reconstruction images by using respiratory-triggered fast-spin-echo sequence. Fiber volume plays a critical role in achieving stable mechanical and physical properties in composite structures. This study develops a method to control this parameter in carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRPs) on the basis of the viscoelastic character of the thermosetting matrix resin. This method relies on the loss angle δ to quantitatively control fiber volume. CFRP flat panels are manufactured at varying initiating times of pressure application depending on the δ value of the CFRP matrix resin. An analysis of the manufactured panels clearly shows that the target fiber volumes can be obtained at an appropriate δ range. Specifically, CFRP fiber volumes can be controlled through the loss angle of the matrix resin. A new method is proposed to suppress chatter, in which the ultrasonic elliptical vibration is added on the cutting tool edge. It results in the fact that the rake face of tool is separated from the chip and the direction of the frictional force between the rake face and the chip is reversed in each cycle of elliptical vibration cutting. The experimental investigations show that the chatter can be suppressed effectively by adding ultrasonic elliptical vibration on the cutting tool edge. The approximate cutting force models in three-dimensional separating type ultrasonic elliptical vibration cutting are proposed in present paper.
