The presented work deals with the application of artificial neural networks in the modelling of the thermal decomposition process of friction composite systems based on polymer matrices reinforced by yarns. The thermal decomposition of the automotive clutch friction composite system consisting of a polymer blend reinforced by yarns from organic, inorganic and metallic fibres impregnated with resin, as well as its individual components, was monitored by a method of non‐isothermal thermogravimetry over a wide temperature range. A supervised feed‐forward back‐propagation multi‐layer artificial neural network model, with temperature as the only input parameter, has been developed to predict the thermogravimetric curves of weight loss and time derivative of weight loss of studied friction composite system and its individual components acquired at a fixed constant heating rate under a pure dry nitrogen atmosphere at a constant flow rate. It has been proven that an optimized model with a 1‐25‐6 architecture of an artificial neural network trained by a Levenberg‐Marquardt algorithm is able to predict simultaneously all the analyzed experimental thermogravimetric curves with a high level of reliability and that it thus represents the highly effective artificial intelligence tool for the modelling of thermal stability also of relatively complicated friction composite systems. 相似文献

Zinc sulphide (ZnS) nanoparticles were prepared by an aerosol method from zinc acetate and sodium sulphide (Na2S) aqueous solutions. Aqueous solution of zinc acetate was dispersed into the form of microdroplets, which were introduced by airflow to vigorously stirred aqueous solution of Na2S, which was in excess. Microdroplets served as microreactors, so the reaction took place only in limited volume. Particle size distribution was studied by transmission electron microscopy and by dynamic light scattering measurements. In this work, the equation that allows us to predict the final size distribution of ZnS nanoparticles using exact concentration of zinc acetate was derived and ZnS nanoparticles with predicted mean particle diameter around 50 and 70?nm were successfully synthetised. 相似文献

Methanol is natural ingredient of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks; however, the products of its metabolic transformations (formaldehyde and formic acid) are toxic to humans. The aim of this research was to assess the application of different physico‐chemical treatments of pomace in order to find the most efficient method for reducing the methanol during fermentation with the least effect on the sensory properties of the wine. The following procedures were studied: addition of tannins in pomace, addition of phenolic acids, addition of d ‐galacturonic and pectic acid, use of bentonite and zeolite, heat treatment of pomace, thermosonication and treatment of pomace with microwaves. Fruit wine used in this study was produced from plums (Prunus domestica L.). Applied treatments showed variable efficiency in reduction of methanol formation in plum wine. It may be noted that the procedures that involved some form of thermal treatment were characterized by a significant decrease in the production of methanol (up to 60–70%) but mostly tended to have a negative impact on the sensory properties of the produced wines. However, exposure of pomace to microwaves for a short time, owing to the contribution of mechanisms of non‐thermal nature (kinetic and chemical), allowed for a significant reduction in methanol formation with a negligible impact on the sensory properties. The decrease in methanol formation during fermentation using tannins, pectic acid, bentonite and zeolite was poor, with only a reduction of up to 15%. Obtained results are significant to the fruit wine and spirit industry, considering the common problem related to an increased content of methanol in these beverages. A novel soft magnetic composite (SMC) based on spherical FeSi particles precisely covered by hybrid phenolic resin was designed. The hybrid resin including silica nano-rods chemically incorporated into the phenolic polymer matrix was prepared by the modified sol–gel method. A chemical bridge connecting silica nano-rods with the base polymeric net was verified by FTIR, 13C and 29Si NMR spectroscopy, whereas the shape and size of silica nano-rods were determined by TEM. It is shown that the modification of polymeric resin by silica nano-rods generally leads to the improved thermal and mechanical properties of the final samples. The hybrid resin serves as a perfect insulating coating deposited on FeSi particles and the core–shell particles can be further compacted by standard powder metallurgy methods in order to prepare final samples for mechanical, electric and magnetic testing. SEM images evidence negligible porosity, uniform distribution of the hybrid resin around FeSi particles, as well as, dimensional shape stability of the final samples after thermal treatment. The hardness, flexural strength and density of the final samples are comparable to the sintered SMCs, but they simultaneously exhibit much higher specific resistivity along with only slightly lower coercivity and permeability. 相似文献

High resolution n.m.r. spectroscopy, involving the technique of cross-polarization, along with magicangle spinning, was used in the structural characterization of eight kerogens of different origins, selected to represent the three types of kerogens (types I–III evolution paths). The influence of cross-polarization dynamics on the sensitivity of the method and the ratio of individual fractions in the spectrum was studied in more detail. It is suggested that an analysis of the influence of the mixing time is necessary prior to definitive characterization of any sample. Good separation of signals in aliphatic, aromatic, and carboxylic regions was achieved. The general correlation between the 13C n.m.r. structural characteristics and the classification based on ultimate analysis of the kerogens (types I–III, van Krevelen atomic H/C vs. O/C diagrams) was found to be satisfactory. The structural features of kerogens derived from 13C n.m.r. analysis agreed quite well with characteristics constituting the above mentioned classification. The 13C n.m.r. method used in this paper may be considered promising in the classification of kerogens. 相似文献
