In this paper, a framework of real-time video processing for fog removal using uncalibrated single camera system is proposed. Intelligent use of temporal redundancy present in video frames paves the way for real-time implementation. Any fog removal algorithm for images acquired with uncalibrated single camera system can be extended to video using the proposed framework. For the purpose of real-time implementation, several fog removal algorithms for images are investigated and few top ranking algorithms in speed and quality are chosen. Simulation results confirm that proposed framework reduces the computation per frame significantly. The cost of lime/limestone for neutralisation is the second largest operating cost in bioleaching. Therefore, these studies have been conducted with the aim to investigate the possibilities for use of by-products such as mesalime and electric arc furnace (EAF) dust for neutralisation during biooxidation of a refractory gold concentrate. Experiments were carried out using a retention time of 57 h in a one-stage reactor and the influence of two industrial by-products on the biooxidation performance was evaluated. The neutralising capacity of EAF dust was lower, while the mesalime was similar to the Ca(OH)2 reference. The arsenopyrite oxidation in experiments ranged from 85% to 90%, whereas the pyrite oxidation was 63–74%. In subsequent cyanidation, final gold recoveries of 90% were achieved in bioresidues from mesalime and Ca(OH)2, while the EAF dust bioresidue had a recovery of 85%. A comparatively high elemental sulphur content in EAF dust probably encapsulates part of the gold, which explains the lower recovery for the EAF dust bioresidue despite a longer residence time. Cyanide consumption was relatively high and ranged from 8.1 to 9.2 kg/ton feed after 24 h of cyanidation. YAG precursor powder was prepared in the hydroxyhydrogel form. Dehydration kinetic study and rehydration experiment was carried out to know the behavior of water molecules and hydroxide bonds present in the hydroxyhydrogel network structure with temperature. Rate constants and activation energies for dehydration and dehydroxylation were evaluated by static thermogravimetry. Percent rehydration was determined at different heat treatment temperatures. Polycrystalline BiFeO3 (BFO) and Bi0.90Gd0.10Fe1?xZrxO3 (x = 0.0–0.10; BGFZx) ceramics were synthesized by solid‐state reaction method. Rietveld analysis of X‐ray diffraction patterns showed that BFO and BGFZx = 0.0 samples are stabilized in rhombohedral structure (space group R3c), whereas a small fraction of orthorhombic phase (space group Pn21a) is observed for BGFZx = 0.03–0.10 samples. Suppression and disappearance of some Raman modes indicated a structural phase transition with addition of Zr dopant at Fe site. Magnetic measurements exhibited weak ferromagnetic behavior of BGFZx samples with increasing Zr+4 concentrations. The insertion of Gd+3 ions at Bi+3 sites and nonmagnetic Zr+4 ions at Fe+3 sites in Fe–O–Fe network suppressed the spin cycloid structure of BFO which in turn enhanced the magnetization of these ceramics. Electron spin resonance spectra revealed the breaking of spin cycloid of BFO due to the development of free spins with addition of Zr+4 dopants at Fe sites. UV–Visible diffuse reflectance spectra showed one d–d crystal field transition and two charge‐transfer (C–T) transitions along with a sharp absorption of light in visible region for all samples. Almost frequency‐independent dielectric constant and dielectric loss along with very low values of dielectric loss indicated greatly improved dielectric properties for BGFZx = 0.03–0.10 samples. 相似文献

This paper predicts the probability of failure or short and long columns of square reinforced concrete for deterministic and probabilistic loads. The effect of various parameters; width, length of column, effective length coefficient, percentage of steel, axial load, grade of concrete and random numbers; on the probability of failure of the column is studied. The material, geometric parameters and the load are treated as probabilistic. The results for short columns show that the rate of decrease of probability of failure is a maximum with increase in width, while it increased to a maximum with increase in loads, whereas for long columns the length of column had the predominant effect. 相似文献

Nanostructured copper hexacyanidoferrate has been synthesized and characterized using elemental analysis, atomic absorption spectroscopy, thermal and infrared spectral studies. The transmission electron microscopic studies of the synthesized material showed that it consisted of irregular oval and rod shaped particles with a size range 70–100 nm. Nanostructured copper hexacyanidoferrate modified glassy carbon electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetery and nanostructured copper hexacyanidoferrate–carbon nanotube composite material modified glassy carbon electrode has been used for electrocatalytic oxidation of salbutamol. Biomaterials of either natural or synthetic origin are used to fabricate implantable devices, as carriers for bioactive molecules or as substrates to facilitate tissue regeneration. For the design of medical devices it is fundamental to use materials characterized by non-immunogenicity, biocompatibility, slow and/or controllable biodegradability, non-toxicity, and structural integrity. The success of biomaterial-derived biodevices tends to be based on the biomimetic architecture of the materials. Recently, proteins from natural precursors that are essentially structural and functional polymers, have gained popularity as biomaterials. The silks produced by silkworms or spiders are of particular interest as versatile protein polymers. These form the basis for diverse biomedical applications that exploit their unique biochemical nature, biocompatibility and high mechanical strength. This review discusses and summarizes the latest advances in the engineering of silk-based biomaterials, focusing specifically on the fabrication of diverse bio-mimetic structures such as films, hydrogels, scaffolds, nanofibers and nanoparticles; their functionalization and potential for biomedical applications. 相似文献
