The Co/MFI(SiO2/Al2O3 = 30) were prepared by a precipitation method with NaOCl in alkali solutions exhibited high activities to N2 at 250 °C for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx. These catalysts showed two UV–vis bands at 700 and 400 nm, indicating the presence of octahedral Co(III) as well as tetrahedral Co(II). The high SCR activity over such Co(III, II)/MFI(30) seems to come from Co(III)---O moieties. The Co(II)MFI(30) catalysts prepared from Co(II)Cl2 exhibited low SCR activities due to the presence of tetrahedral Co(II) ions in MFI. Less CO formation occurred over Co/MFI catalysts. The Fe/MFI(30) catalyst exhibited high activity due to the presence of some Fe---O species in MFI but more amount of CO were produced during SCR. H/MFI(30) catalyst exhibited a good SCR activity. However, more amount of carbonaceous deposits were produced on it. The correlation between acid concentration and SCR activity was discussed over H/MFIs.  相似文献

A cake-less continuous filtration equipment has been developed based on an evaluation of inorganic powder slurry characteristics by many kinds of measurement methods, such as a sedimentation test under gravity and a hydrostatic pressure test. We have been developing a high-performance cake-less filtration system in which a condensed inorganic powder slurry layer maintains its fluidity. The development of this novel filtration system has allowed us to cease the scraping operation of the cake as well as to collect the highly condensed slurry more easily. These results clearly show that a new device may be realized for the deposition of highly condensed, fluid slurries. It is confirmed that the concentration of the condensed slurry amounted to 35 vol% while still retaining fluidity. The specifications of our new filtration system and its operation conditions for scale-up can be determined by theoretical methods. There is good potential for successfully collecting high condensation slurry more easily in a multiple filter system.  相似文献

Ferrites—ceramic ferromagnetic materials—have been considered as highly important electronic materials for more than half a century. During this time, the characteristics of commercial ferrite materials, both soft and hard ferrites, have come to approach theoretical values. The quality of commercial ferrites has been improved through accumulated scientific knowledge and advanced technology. This article provides a comprehensive survey of the historical development of the science and technology of ferrite materials as well as applications of the ferrites. The article also offers a forecast of the future of ferrites in terms of their chemistry.  相似文献

Bridging stresses that result both from elastic tractions and frictional interlocking in the wake of an advancing crack have been evaluated quantitatively via in situ Raman microprobe spectroscopy in a toughened Si3N4 polycrystal. Crack opening displacement (COD) profiles of bridged cracks also have been measured quantitatively via scanning electron microscopy to substantiate the piezospectroscopic determination of microscopic stresses via Raman spectroscopy. The highest spatial resolution of the stress measurement in the Raman apparatus was 1 µm, as dictated by the optical lens that was used to focus the laser on the sample. Measurements of the bridging stresses were performed both at fixed sites (as a function of the applied load) and along the profile behind the crack tip (under a constant load). Rather high stress values (i.e., 0.4-1.1 GPa) were measured that corresponded with unbroken ligaments that bridged the crack faces in elastic fashion, whereas frictional sites were typically under a lower tensile stress (0.1-0.5 GPa). Mapping the near-tip COD profile and the bridging stresses at the (normal) critical load for catastrophic fracture enabled us to calculate the crack-tip toughness and to explain the rising R -curve behavior of the material. From a comparison with conventional fracture-mechanics data, a self-consistent view of the mechanics that govern the toughening behavior of the Si3N4 polycrystal could be obtained. In particular, crack bridging is proven to be, by far, the most important mechanism that contributes to the toughening of polycrystalline Si3N4 materials.  相似文献

Cachexia is a multifactorial syndrome characterized by muscle loss that cannot be reversed by conventional nutritional support. To uncover the molecular basis underlying the onset of cancer cachectic muscle wasting and establish an effective intervention against muscle loss, we used a cancer cachectic mouse model and examined the effects of aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise successfully suppressed muscle atrophy and activated adiponectin signaling. Next, a cellular model for cancer cachectic muscle atrophy using C2C12 myotubes was prepared by treating myotubes with a conditioned medium from a culture of colon-26 cancer cells. Treatment of the atrophic myotubes with recombinant adiponectin was protective against the thinning of cells through the increased production of p-mTOR and suppression of LC3-II. Altogether, these findings suggest that the activation of adiponectin signaling could be part of the molecular mechanisms by which aerobic exercise ameliorates cancer cachexia-induced muscle wasting.  相似文献

Background: Within the claudin (CLDN) family, CLDN12 mRNA expression is altered in various types of cancer, but its clinicopathological relevance has yet to be established due to the absence of specific antibodies (Abs) with broad applications. Methods: We generated a monoclonal Ab (mAb) against human/mouse CLDN12 and verified its specificity. By performing immunohistochemical staining and semiquantification, we evaluated the relationship between CLDN12 expression and clinicopathological parameters in tissues from 138 cases of cervical cancer. Results: Western blot and immunohistochemical analyses revealed that the established mAb selectively recognized the CLDN12 protein. Twenty six of the 138 cases (18.8%) showed low CLDN12 expression, and the disease-specific survival (DSS) and recurrence-free survival rates were significantly decreased compared with those in the high CLDN12 expression group. We also demonstrated, via univariable and multivariable analyses, that the low CLDN12 expression represents a significant prognostic factor for the DSS of cervical cancer patients (HR 3.412, p = 0.002 and HR 2.615, p = 0.029, respectively). Conclusions: It can be concluded that a reduced CLDN12 expression predicts a poor outcome for cervical cancer. The novel anti-CLDN12 mAb could be a valuable tool to evaluate the biological relevance of the CLDN12 expression in diverse cancer types and other diseases.  相似文献

Mass transfer in polycrystalline Yb2SiO5 wafers with precise composition control was evaluated and analyzed by oxygen permeation experiments at high temperatures using an oxygen tracer. Oxygen permeation proceeded due to mutual grain boundary diffusion of oxide ions and Yb ions without synergistic effects such as acceleration or suppression. The oxygen shielding properties of Yb2SiO5 were compared with those of the other line compounds such as Yb2Si2O7 and Al2O3 based on the determined mass transfer parameters. It was found that the more preferentially an oxide ion diffuses in the grain boundary compared to the interior of the grain, the greater the effect of suppressing the movement of the oxide ion by applying an oxygen potential gradient becomes.  相似文献

Polystyrene–clay hybrids (PSCHs) were prepared by melt blending a styrene vinyloxazoline copolymer with organophilic clay. In the PSCHs, the silicate layers of the clay were delaminated and dispersed homogeneously to the nanometer level. The moduli of the PSCHs were higher than that of the PS copolymer. Mixing in a boil-off mechanically stirred tank reactor with multiple impellers was examined. Power consumption and gas hold-up were measured in boiling water in a 0.2 m i.d. stirred tank reactor with three four-pitched blade downflow disk turbines. Vapour was generated from both the immersed ring heater and the impellers. At low vapour generation rates, vapour was mainly generated from the impellers rather than from the heater, whereas nucleation occurred at the heater instead of the impeller at higher vapour generation rates. The mechanical power consumption decreased due to vapour generation. The change in boiling-to-non-boiling mechanical power ratio with varying impeller rotational speed and boiling rate was complicated and not monotonous except at higher impeller speeds and boiling rates. The gas hold-ups increased with increasing vapour generation rate but were rather small as compared to those in cold gas dispersing systems. Empirical correlations for power consumption and gas hold-up in boiling liquids were developed using the present experimental data.  相似文献
